Democratic Party Adds Gay "Marriage" to Platform

This past weekend the Democratic Party, to the surprise of no one, voted to add same-sex marriage to their official platform in their August convention. Barney Frank and other DNC committee members voted unanimously to present the homosexual "marriage" plank at the Democratic national convention. It will likely be adopted, but I suspect some Democrats will cut and run because they will fear their constituents are not as "evolved" as the President and the activists.

The Republican Party has recently re-affirmed their position which calls for a constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex "marriage." Please take a moment and read the link. It is both informing and encouraging, and stands in stark contrast to the position of the secular progressive left.

During Barrack Obama's campaign to "remake America," he has thumbed his nose at DOMA, which is federal law, worked to redefine marriage and the family, did everything in his power to expand abortion, trampled on the rights of many pro-life citizens and their conscience, created unprecedented national debt that generations to come will inherit and pushed the country to the extreme left in ways never before seen in our history. And he has promised more of the same, should he be re-elected, to each of those interest groups.

During this time, homosexual activists have been more empowered than at any other time in history. So much so that their initial response toward Chick-fil-A last week was, as mayors, to forbid the company from doing business in "their" city. Even modern day socialist countries have discontinued that practice. It is only a few second rate dictators that continue to believe that is their prerogative.

And they call that "progressive"?

Not coincidentally, Rasmussen published a survey Sunday that found American's hope for the future is at an all time low. It has never been measured at this low level in the history of polls and surveys.

When Barrack Obama took office in 2009, 27% of Americans believed that their children would be better off than their parents.

Now, after all the progressive implementation, only 14% believe their kids will be better off than the parents---an all time record low. I never thought I would see the day when some one could lead America to a lower point than that of the Jimmy Carter years. I was wrong.

Hopelessness.

After all his work to "remake" America, we find hope at it lowest point. And we learn that "Hope" is more than a word on a teleprompter.

Remember, the power to change lies not in the hands of a few who seek power, but in the hands of those who will vote.

One of the most important elections in history is now less than 100 days away.
