NBC: True Christians Do Not Oppose Obamacare

This past Saturday, Ed Schultz of the "Ed Show" on NBC's cable news channel MSNBC passionately told his audience only "a phoney Christian" would oppose Obamacare.

He said, "The Affordable Care Act [Obamacare] and the civil rights legislation passed in the 1960s are the two most moral things the country has ever done."

Really?

Only recently he and his colleagues who share his ideology have been saying that redefining marriage and affirming homosexual behavior and the civil rights legislation of the 1960s were the two most important.

Schultz, an employee of NBC and their news channel, then offered a disgusting mock prayer while one of his guests explained that Jesus is a Marxist and a Radical.

And there's more.

Schultz said of those who oppose Obamacare, "They're phoney Christians when they say that they are Christian, but then they want to take away from their next door neighbor. They don't want to be their brother's keeper."

He said he felt obliged to point out the "hypocrisy" of the "right wing Christians" who believe that the country would be better off without ACA (Obamacare).

He continued, "Make no mistake, there is no moral or religious case for taking away healthcare from 30 million Americans...If Obamacare is repealed, Americans will die. Children of God will die."

I wonder where his outrage is toward the far left secular progressive Planned Parenthood and their abortion agenda. And the people who support such a travesty?

Abortion has now killed, as of this morning, over 56,538,960 unborn children in America since Roe v. Wade. Over 766,948 have been killed this year in America.

Surely a man who hosts an NBC owned television show knows that the 30 million people he claims will not have healthcare is about the same number who will not have healthcare after 10 years of Obamacare.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that in 2023---10 years after Obamacare is fully implemented, there will still be 31 million uninsured, non-elderly people in the United States. They're not even counting the old guys. And the CBO estimates that Obamacare will have cost the federal government [you and me] a net $1.363 trillion.

Hypocrisy.

Scams are not generally considered "Christian."

But Ed Schultz went considerably beyond misrepresentations. He began his show with a mock prayer.
With his eyes closed and hands raised into the air, he said, "Dear Lord, in this house of worship called "Ed" tonight, we bring our praise to you, dear Lord. Give us strength to fight back against these soldiers of defeat and these soldiers of deceit when it comes to Obamacare. Give us strength to heal the sick and help the poor, because we know that's what you want Lord. Amen."

Blasphemy.

Schultz had 2 invited guests on this show. Ken Klukowski with Family Research Council and John Fugelsang---a far left comedian.

Klukowski tried to respond to a single question, saying, "From a public policy standpoint, I want people to have as good quality health care as possible, which is why I oppose Obamacare." At that point Schultz began talking over him and the viewers never heard the rest of his comments.

John Fugelsang compared the government health care program (Obamacare) to the ministry of Jesus.

Using Matthew 10 where Jesus sent out His disciples to proclaim His message and heal the sick.

He said, referring to Matthew 10: 8, "Jesus taught that you received without payment, now give without payment."

He also said that "Matthew 8:10 affirms that Jesus is a Marxist and a radical."

God help us.

Surely President Obama doesn't agree with this narrative, does he? Given his 20 years under the preaching of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who knows?

But on the same day this conversation was airing on NBC's news channel, President Obama, on his radio address was telling America, "I'm going to keep doing everything in my power to make sure this law [Obamacare] works as its supposed to....Because in the United States of America, health insurance isn't a privilege...it is your right. And we'll keep going to keep it that way."

An understanding of Scripture and the teachings of Jesus makes it clear He is neither a Marxist or a radical.

He is the only begotten Son of God, who died for the sins of mankind and rose from the dead as the prophets had said he would.

This kind of public discourse does, however, affirm that there are certainly those among us who are both Marxist and radical. And this ideology is at the top of their agenda.

Secular progressives have brought America to a cultural crossroads. We're looking at a conflict that will affect the direction and destiny of this nation.

What is a right?

What is a privilege or blessing?

Who decides?

I'm talking more about this on the radio this morning live at 9 AM, PDT and rebroadcast this evening at 7:30 PM, PDT. Here's how you can listen from anywhere in the world.

Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Informed. Be Not Afraid. Be Prayerful. Be Blessed.
