Gays Out To Break The Back Of Barilla

It is becoming a familiar story.

It is also a very troubling story.

A very small minority are acting as a majority, while remaking the culture. The homosexual agenda is moving beyond attacking speech to attacking biblical, traditional beliefs. And doing so with the help of a very complicit press.

A few months ago, the attack was focused on Chick-fil A, now it is Barilla, the world's largest pasta maker.

Guido Barilla, CEO of the Parma, Italy based company simply expressed in an interview on Italian radio their belief in the traditional family.

On Italian radio he said, "For us, the 'sacred family' remains one of the company's core values."

He did not state any activist position against redefining marriage, etc., nor did he express any negative comments toward the homosexual lifestyle, he merely stated his personal belief in the traditional family.

For his beliefs, homosexual activists, aided by the press, are launching a worldwide effort to break the back of Barilla.

Here are a few details and some personal thoughts.

When pressed by the radio host, he continued, "Our family is a traditional family. If gays like our pasta and our advertising, they will eat our pasta; if they don't like that, they will eat someone else's pasta."

Barilla's TV ads are aired worldwide to billions of people.

The radio host continued to press him about why he cast women in traditional roles and why he had not made a commercial featuring a gay family.

He said, "The women are crucial in this," and said he wouldn't add a "gay family" because he didn't want to do so.

Many in the American press have now piled on and are facilitating a worldwide effort to break the back of Barilla.

Some in the American press are, of course, leading.

The Huffington Post is reporting, "In wake of the chairman of Barilla Group's anti-gay comments yesterday that sparked international outrage, one pasta brand wants the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community to know that we have their support."

The pasta company, Buitoni USA, has now posted a new image to their official Facebook page displaying that they fully support the LGBT agenda as well as an apology from Guido Barilla.

The press is mocking Italy for its "backward" ways regarding the advancement of homosexuality in the culture, calling the country's view of the traditional role of the woman and homosexuality, "clueless."

The press says they believe they have a better shot at breaking Barilla than they have toward Chick-fil-A because Chick-fil-A is "content to stay in the South and cater to its conservative Christian customers."

That's not exactly true. Chick-fil-A is applying for a building permit in North Seattle as we speak. Seattle Mayor McGinn and want-to-be-mayor Senator Ed Murray have pledged to anything they can do to stop them from opening a business in Seattle.

They are continuing to expand because they have a good product and good service.

When Chick-fil-A is ready to open in Seattle, we will give you a heads up.

Huffington Post is saying Barilla "needs to drop this claim about what the 'traditional family' is."

"If not," they say, "Basta Barilla Pasta." Translated---"its over."

This, of course, is not about pasta or chicken, it's about the relentless march to remake the America and world culture. It is a crusade to affirm behavior that for the past 5000 years, every major world religion has condemned and every successful civilization rejected. Until now.

Just last week, the federal Centers for Disease Control reported that only about 2% of the men in America are homosexual, contrary to Alfred Kinsey's so-called studies that claim 10%.

It's revealing that CDC has found that 78% of the HIV in America is carried in this 2% group.

Tragically, these facts are not revealed in the public school classroom, the fountain head of indoctrination on behalf of homosexual causes. And the press is generally silent on the matter as well. It isn't politically correct to report these facts.

Too many churches have been silenced in regard to the attack on marriage and the family, although God's Word is very clear on the matter.

There is a narrative in I Kings 19 that shows Elijah as fearful, running for his life, because of the all out attack on godly principles and Truth. In fact, he has come to believe that he is the only one left who still believes in God's Word and Truth.

He says, "I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty; The Israelites have rejected Your covenant, broken Your down Your altars; and put Your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left and they are trying to kill me too."

He had recently witnessed the miracle on Mount Carmel, where God had revealed Himself undeniably, but now Jezebel had pledged to kill him.

Fear and personal preservation had driven him across the country where he had eventually taken refuge in a cave. And this was after he had asked God to let him die.

It was here that God revealed Himself to Elijah after telling him to "come out of the cave"---come out of hiding.

It was not in the roaring wind, the earthquake or the manifestation of fire that God spoke to him. It was through a "still small voice."

The Lord revealed to Elijah that he wasn't the only one, that were 7,000 others in his country who had "not bowed down to Baal, and whose mouth had not kissed him."

The Lord said to Elijah, "Go back the way you came." Return to the task.

I will be talking more about this on the radio this morning live at 9 AM PDT, and rebroadcast at 7:30 PM PDT.

Here's how to listen from anywhere in the world.

Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Informed. Be Prayerful. Be Active. Be Blessed.
