ENDA: Criminalizing Christianity

America is being told the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) is merely a much needed law to affirm fairness and tolerance and to insulate those in our culture who practice homosexual behavior from bullies in the workplace.

In truth, this legislation effectively would codify in law the very thing it claims to combat.

Discrimination.

This law, if passed, will criminalize biblical Christianity.

Hypocrisy.

Activists, apparently intoxicated by recent success, are now publicly putting their actual goals on the table---coming out to a complicit press.

At least 10 Republican Senators have joined the parade and voted to criminalize biblical Judeo-Christian sexual ethics by voting for ENDA.

Michelango Siqnorile, witting for the Huffington Post, confessed that any form of this bill that reaches President Obama's desk, which he has promised to sign, must have "no religious exceptions."

I wrote about this piece of legislation last week, because if it should become law, it would be culturally transforming. It would be the most overtly anti-Christian legislation ever.

I feel every person of faith and conservative should be fully aware of what is at stake in this bill, and be aware of the motives and actual agenda of those pushing it through Congress while the most pro-gay President in history waits to sign it.

The activists are no longer even pretending it is about "equality," they seek to criminalize Christian beliefs regarding sexual behavior and ethics.

The law, which carries some weak exemptions for religious consideration, already undermines religious freedom.

Without the exemptions, it is an all out assault on Christian beliefs and religious freedom.

If Signorile and the other activists get what they are now publicly demanding, churches, mosques, synagogues, religious schools, Bible book stores and every Christian owned business in America with 15 or more employees will be forced by law, under penalty, to abandon biblical and traditional values regarding human sexuality and hire anyone, including gender confused "transgendered" people who vacillate between which gender they actually are. Including those who openly flaunt their confusion.

Senator Pat Toomey, R-Pa., offered an amendment to the bill last week that would have strengthened the bill's religious exemptions prior to the senate vote. The amendment was defeated 55-43.

Toomey then joined the far left progressives and voted for the bill. Nine other Republicans joined him. They are: Susan Collins, Maine; Mark Kirk, Ill., Lisa Murkowski, Alaska; Dean Heller, Nev.; Kelly Ayotte, NH.; Rob Portman, Ohio; Jeff Flake, Ariz.; John McCain, Ariz.; Orrin Hatch, Utah,; and as mentioned Pat Toomey.

No wonder there's deep division within the Republican Party.

And there should be outrage among biblical Christians and social conservatives. And among all who value religious freedom.

Here is some "straight talk."

Chai Feldblum is a lesbian activist and sexual nihilist lawyer who has advocated for and supported legalized polygamy and bi-sexual polyamory.

Family Research Council has created a profile on her and her goals. Please read it.

While Congress was in recess, the President appointed her commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The appointment was made during a recess to avoid any congressional questioning of her appointment.

As ENDA's chief framer, Ms. Feldblum will be charged with the enforcement of ENDA, should it become law.

She has been very candid about the bill's real intent. When asked about the battle between religious freedom and gay rights, she has said it is a "zero sum game." Meaning the two cannot possibly co-exist in harmony. She sees the issue as a "winner take all" contest.

FRC's research on her found that in 2009, she said in regard to ENDA and Christian businesses and organizations, "Gays win, Christians loose."

In regard to religious freedom she has said she, "Has a hard time coming up with any case in which religious liberty should win."

Ms Feldblum is a signer on the "Beyond Marriage" document which advocates for legalized group marriage, polygamy and a number of other deviant sexual behaviors.

This matter now rests with the House of Representatives. Speaker of the House John Boehner says, at least at this point, he opposes the bill because it is unconstitutional and discriminating.

I've spoken to Boehner's office. A call or email to Speaker Boehner would be helpful at this time. His office is 202-225-0600. This is a link to his website. Tell him you oppose the ENDA bill.
