Lesbian "Brides" Bully Bridal Shop

Another small business is under attack because they believe in God's model for marriage.

A woman came into the W.W. Bridal Boutique in Bloomsburg, Pa., and said she was shopping for "wedding dresses."

She explained she was "marrying" her lesbian lover.

The folks at W.W. Bridal Boutique told her " unfortunately" they were not currently servicing same-sex weddings---"it's just not something we do," they said.

Rather than displaying the tolerance homosexuals claim to practice and demand of others, the lesbians started a campaign against the owner and the business.

A quick check shows there are a number of bridal shops in town. But that's not the point.

Clearly the reaction was not about accommodation, it is about forcing biblical people of faith to not only accept so-called same-ex "marriage," but to accommodate it.

Victoria Miller, the owner said, "Providing those two girls dresses for a sanctified marriage would break God's law."

She said she believes God "holds us responsible for our acts."

We've heard this before---retaliation toward photographers, cake makers, florists and wedding dress shops, but this has an element that is a bit different than the other cases.

Homosexuals in the area and some in city government are so committed to taking this business owner down because of her religious beliefs that the city council is planning a special meeting to create a law or city ordinance that can be used to sue Victoria Miller---simply because she believes in biblical marriage.

Miller has hired a lawyer to defend her. Her lawyer says his client has a "liberty interest" in refusing to take part in a process that would violate "firmly and honestly held religious beliefs."

Another person has now come forward to accuse Miller.

G. Andrea Shay is saying W.W. Bridal also refused to provide service to her and her cross dressing husband.

She says the shop was "strange and rude."

The shop is "strange?"

Sadly, it's not only the secular and atheists who are attacking Victoria Miller.

Facebook and other social media has exploded with attacks on Miller--- some attacks are from so-called "Christians."

"You, in fact, are an abomination to the state of Pennsylvania," one wrote.

Another said, "Jesus made everyone feel welcome, shame---you are not follower of Christ."

Without regard to their own behavior and effort to scandalize and destroy the business of Victoria Miller, one wrote, "Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behavior does."

One "Christian" writes, "As a fellow Christian I'm ashamed of people like you. We are taught to love our neighbor regardless."

Is that real love?

Franklin Graham recently told a group of Christian leaders that biblical Christians should love homosexuals---and all sinners---enough to warn them. He told the leaders, "Now if you don't like that, don't get mad at me." He said, "I didn't write the rule book. Almighty God wrote it, and its a sin against Him."

How long will biblical Christians remain silent? How far down this road to destruction and bondage must we travel before we stand and speak and act?

President John Adams once said, "Let the pulpit resound with the doctrine and sentiments of religious liberty. Let us hear of the dignity of man's nature...let it be known that...liberties are not the grants of princes and parliaments."

Be Vigilant. Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Prayerful. Be Blessed.
