The Hillary-Alinsky Personal Letters: How To Change America

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The Hill is reporting, "Eight years after shying away from the historic nature of her campaign, Hillary Clinton is putting women at the center of her agenda as she 'contemplates' ... another run for president."

She's beyond contemplation.

She is calling for a "movement" that represents "equality" that breaks the glass ceiling and eliminates the collapsing floor for women. But it isn't only about economic equality, nor is it only about women.

Her connection to Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood and the global agenda to advance abortion worldwide is also a component of "equality."

Clearly there is work for the far left secular progressives to do in completely redefining marriage and family.

Clinton's closest advisers are calling her agenda, "Our great unfinished business."

A few days ago the correspondence between Hillary and radical community organizer Saul Alinsky became public.

While Hillary has shrugged it off, we the people will be well served not to shrug it off but to be aware and informed.

After all, it was Saul Alinsky who dedicated his book "Rules For Radicals" to Lucifer as his inspiration for community organizing.

A closer look is very revealing as to what that "unfinished business" is really about.

Sandy Hook Commission Blames Homeschooling

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
None of us have forgotten the tragic slaughter of 20 first graders and 6 adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012.

Adam Lanza, 20, described as being "dark and disturbed" before his death, was responsible for the killing of the children and the adults, and the killing of his mother at her home near the Sandy Hook school.

Reports released following the tragedy said Lanza suffered from "Asperger's syndrome" or "a personality disorder."

And the reports said, "He had a tortured mind."

Connecticut Governor Malloy, following the tragedy, appointed a state commission to provide answers and actions that can be taken to "prevent future occurrences like this."

The commission has completed their study and its "chief recommendation" is to tighten scrutiny on homeschoolers."

But why?

Eliminating Extremism

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
President Obama, speaking of terrorism, told the United Nations and the world this week the international body must coalesce behind the goal of "eliminating the cancer of violent extremism that has ravaged so many parts of the world."

Only a terrorist would disagree. Thankfully, the president is finally taking some action.

The president also said, "It is no exaggeration to say that humanity's future depends on us uniting against those who would divide us along the fault lines of tribe or sect; race or religion."

He said, "No god justifies this terror..."

For the most part, America exhaled when our president finally became engaged and took action on the terrorist issue. It was about time.

But I'm hearing the words of James Madison, a Founding Father and our fourth president---they are words of warning.

And the words of our current president linger in light of a different kind of war raging in our country.

"Those who divide us..."

"Violent extremism..."

"No god justifies this..."

Is it possible that conservative Catholics and biblical evangelicals could be seen as "extreme" in their conservative beliefs?

Last year it was revealed by the Chaplain Alliance that in more than 1,500 pages of documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, the US Army training instructors were teaching recruits that "Catholicism, evangelical Christianity, Al Queda, Hamas, Sunni Muslims and the Klu Klux Klan"were examples of extremists.

One of the slides in the PowerPoint presentation explained that "Religious extremism is not limited to any single religion, ethnic group, or region of the world."

After being confronted, the instructor removed the one slide, the Army apologized and everything continued. The Army said it was a mistake, but they didn't know how many other similar presentations were out there.

Are people who hold biblical beliefs on the sanctity of life and natural, biblical marriage extremists?

Apparently so, at least in the minds of the secular progressives---who happen to rule in the White House and the Senate.

Pathoes, a secular progressive voice, reported in June that "Christian extremists are fleeing 'godless' America and moving to Russia to escape the secular West and laws granting marriage equality to gay and lesbian citizens."

Mike Stone, writing for Pathoes, said, "However, if significant numbers of Christian extremists are leaving the country, this is good news for secular America. Religious extremists of any kind are dangerous."

Are biblical Christians being equated to terrorists?

Stone then turns his attention toward those whom he had quoted---Bill Murray (Christian son of atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair) and World Net Daily and others like them, declaring, "They desecrate the religious liberty our founding fathers fought and died for."

Is Bill and World Net Daily traitors? Have they committed some kind of treason? Are all who share those biblical beliefs treasonous?

Is this an isolated case?

We wish. We all know better.

This last May, Right Wing Watch attacked twin brothers David and Jason Benham, calling them extremist and threatening HGTV if they proceeded with the show featuring the twins there would be consequences.

HGTV caved and canceled the show featuring the ultra successful brothers, and a show that would have helped a good number of people own their own home.

Right Wing Watch said the brothers are "extremists" because they have been associated with the "militant anti-choice group Operation Rescue" and "protested LGBT pride events."

They were also identified as participating in a prayer rally outside the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. in 2012.

So what---some would say.

Here's how Equality Matters, another national organization described some of those involved in R-74 in Washington State.

Actor Kirk Cameron, a committed Christian, is hounded and consistently labeled as an "extremist" because he has said publicly he does not believe in abortion and does believe in natural, biblical marriage.

The Cathy family who own Chick-fil-A---the Green family who own Hobby Lobby---Conestoga Wood Products---and the list goes on and on and on.

Extremists, deserving the harshest punishment available.

People across the country are coming under the crushing weight of the law because they don't believe in so-called same sex "marriage"---Arlene's Flower Shop in Richland, Washington, or because they don't believe in abortion---the Stormans family in Olympia---and hundreds of others across the nation. Because they won't violate their conscience and participate, the state seeks to crush, punish or teach them.

While we certainly want our president to take decisive action to protect our country, the words in the context of our own culture, "Those who divide us," violent extremism "coalesce behind the goal of eliminating extremism" and "no god justifies this..." can take on an ominous sound.

James Madison, a Founding Father and our fourth president, expressed concern about this kind of issue. He said, "If tyranny and oppression come to our land, it will be in the guise of fighting for a cause."

This was not a passing concern. He later said, "The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home."

Is the concept of "Eliminating Extremism" such an instrument?

Beware. Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Informed. Be Pro- Active. Be Prayerful. Be Blessed.

Omitting God--Angelina Jolie, the Air Force and George Washington

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

"Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption" is a best selling book about the life of Louis Zamperini.

Zamperini's story is among the most compelling to come out of WWII. His story has been made into a major motion picture scheduled to release December 25---Christmas Day.

Why has the director, Angelina Jolie, omitted God when He is central to this story?

This week I have discussed both here and on the radio the fact that the GOP is working to omit God from their messaging so they can win an election, even though He is present in their Party platform.

Also this week, the United States Air Force announced they, too, will omit God from their oath of service.

George Washington once addressed the matter of omitting God.

Some thoughts on why we are determined to "omit God" when His record is flawless.

GOP Moving To The Middle--Away from Platform. Why?

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The GOP is poised to make significant gains in the upcoming election, so why are they running from their platform and the conservatives within the Party?

The left leaning Washington Post is asking the same question.

There may be a couple of reasons, but neither make sense to tens of millions of evangelicals and conservatives who are members of the Republican Party and typically vote Republican.

The Post says, "Buoyed by President Obama's deep unpopularity, the Republican Party is positioned to reclaim a national governing majority for the first time in nearly a decade by winning control of the Senate."

The Post points out that there is "little room for error" in the GOP's strategy to move away from its social conservative base, its platform and even in some cases away from its conservative fiscal base.

Their move toward the so-called "middle" is actually a move toward the left if you read the Party's platform.

Is this merely "an error" in their judgement, or is it a fundamental difference of beliefs between the Party's elite leadership and the people of faith and conservatives whom they have come to take for granted?

Recent trends suggest it may be a fundamental difference of beliefs.

ISIS Outreach To Youth: Video Games And Movies Using Obama's Words

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

While the White House announced yesterday that some Americans who have been fighting for ISIS have returned to the U.S.--- ISIS is announcing a new Grand Theft Auto-like video game.

The ISIS video does not only encourages kids toward violence and crime as the existing game does, but "inspires them to participate in Jihad against the United States."

ISIS says the game is designed to "Raise the morale of the 'mujahedin' and to train children and youth how to battle the West and to strike terror into the hearts of those who oppose the Islamic State."

This is one of several video games and video presentations being released by ISIS directed toward youth.

In one presentation, they have dubbed in the president's words.

It appears the enemy is both without and within.

Satanic Materials To Be Distributed In Classrooms

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
"The Satanic Children's Big Book of Activities" will be passed out in public school classrooms according to an announcement from The Satanic Temple based in New York.

Last week The Satanic Temple said they are merely responding to the school district allowing Christian literature on campus.

In January 2013 Freedom From Religion Foundation made a similar attempt to distribute their materials to classrooms for the same reason.

Their plan was to distribute a booklet titled, "An X-Rated Book: Sex & Obscenity in the Bible."

The school district ended up banning the book from the schools.

Now the Satanists are making their attempt to steal the children, also claiming they have equal rights.

The Satanic Temple is the same group that conducted a Satanic Mass last night in Oklahoma City in which they desecrated the Bible, mocked God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and all things sacred to people of the Christian faith.

The Satanist Temple says their objective in passing out their material to kids is to familiarize them with "the tenants of their church, the philosophy and practice of Satanism and provide information about the legal right to practice Satanism in public school.

Censoring Christians: The "New Freedom"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The school district superintendent claimed she was kicking out the Christians because, "We value inclusivity and diversity on our campus, and all our events and activities are going to adhere to our mission."

Were the Christians trying to take over the school?

Actually the Christian company had agreed to donate---not sell---product to the booster club which would have raised $1,600 for the school.

Standing in stark contrast to what our Founders intended, this is the latest episode of public censorship of Christianity, under the guise of "freedom."

Our Founders recognized that our rights and freedoms come from God. Their documents---the Declaration and Constitution, reflect their firm belief that our rights and freedoms are a gift from God and are to be "protected" by government, not censored by government agencies.

Nowhere is this new form of "freedom" more evident than in the government run public school class room of your child or grandchild.

Can censorship of Christianity be reversed in a country founded upon its principles, or must we simply learn to live with it and create a parallel life?

The Favorite Phrase Of A Promise Breaker: "Trust Me"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

On September 9, 2009, President Obama said, "No federal dollars will be used to fund abortions and federal conscience laws will remain in place."

Soon after, Congress would infamously pass Obamacare into law on Christmas Eve---without even reading it.

They "trusted him," apparently.

Much of what was promised regarding Obamacare has not happened, and likely will not happen.

This week the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report that clearly shows taxpayer dollars are funding abortions.

In fact, the people's money is going to fund abortions in about 1,000 health care plans that include abortions.

There is a growing distrust in the president, with his approval rating at an all time low. Congress shares the basement with the president.

Yesterday, Gallup Polls revealed that public "trust in the mass media is at an all time low."

Also yesterday, Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) begged her colleagues to be forthcoming with the public, saying, "We are not being honest with the American people."

More on that in a moment, but first on a personal note, thank you for the kind and encouraging remarks sent along to us during this past week while I was taking a little time off.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday and our wedding anniversary and spent some time doing nothing in particular.

Now, more about the cultural cloud of confusion and deception with a definitive answer to our shared concerns and loss of trust in some of our most important offices and institutions.

College Campuses Eliminating The "Wrong" Kind Of Christians

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

In 2011, Vanderbilt, a private university with Christian roots, removed official student group standing from Christian campus organizations that required the leadership of that group to hold stated biblical views.

Intervarsity Fellowship International was one of the groups affected.

A student leader at the time wrote an article describing how she was apparently "the wrong kind of Christian."

The policy essentially welcomed religious organizations as long as they did not require their leadership to profess any particular beliefs.

At the time, many claimed it was no big deal. I wrote about it and received comments claiming I was an alarmist and needed to relax because this was merely a "tempest in a tea pot."

The tempest is no longer in the tea pot. It now shows signs of becoming a category 5 hurricane if you are a biblical Christian.

Last week the California State University system---which includes 23 different colleges and universities, announced an identical policy to that of Vanderbilt.

Christian organizations can no longer require their leadership to be Christian in the state of California.

Pastor Asked To Become "Life Coach" Instead

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Pastor Troy Schmidt was preparing to start his 7th year as volunteer chaplain for the Olympia High School football team when he got the phone call.

His jaw dropped.

The Christian cleansing of Orange County schools was under way, and the school year was only beginning.

Troy listened as he was told he could no longer "open a Bible on school property, talk about the Bible, talk about God or have prayer with individual members of the football team.

However, Pastor Troy Schmidt was offered a solution---a compromise that would allow him to continue to have a relationship with the school district and the football players...a relationship that has helped so many so often over the many years this relationship has existed.

With so much at stake, what should he do?

Mayor Murray Leads The "Marry Me In Seattle" Outreach To Homosexuals

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

King 5 TV reports that Mayor Ed Murray, along with the tourism marketing arm of the City of Seattle, is heading up an effort to draw homosexuals from all over the world to Seattle and western Washington.

The campaign "Marry Me In Seattle" is advertising nationally with winners being drawn each week. The ads run in various homosexual newspapers, web sites, etc., with catch phrases like, "Hey, come get married in Seattle."

Mayor Murray, himself openly homosexual, officiated the "marriage" of Zacery Baker and Samuel Bush from St. Paul, Minn. Wednesday night at Canlis restaurant.

They were winners of the weekly drawing from over 300 entries.

Mayor Murray told King 5 the attraction to Seattle and western Washington "says a lot about our city as a place of tolerance."

Many activists in Seattle want the city to be known for its "tolerance," but is it?

And how does Mayor Murray define tolerance?

Recent studies and past remarks from a then prominent State Senator suggest tolerance may be seen as a one way street.

Atheist Kicked Out Of City Meeting

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
Mayor John Rees announced that the city council meeting would come to order with an invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance, as many government meetings do. He asked everyone to stand.

John Thoreau, an atheist, remained seated.

As the first syllable of the invocation was uttered, Mayor Rees told everyone to hold up a moment because Thoreau was still sitting down.

Then the conversation between Rees and Thoreau escalated. It has now become a national news story.

What do the atheists really want? Is it only, as they say, to be free from religion? Or is it more and different than their talking points?

ISIS Reaching Out To Western Youth

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria has published a new magazine named "Dabiq," which is directed at young men and women in Europe and the United States.

It is appealing to Western youth by portraying an idealized picture of a band of "strangers from the East and the West," drawn together despite national and ethnic differences, in common allegiance.

It is an expression of multiculturalism, with a twist.

The magazine is both in print and online. It's slick, high end looking and produced in English. The style and grammar suggest first-language English writers---and the spelling is American, not British.

Heads up parents and grandparents. And everyone who values freedom as we have known it.

God Causing Problems For Public Ed.-- Again

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Remember Chuck Berry's song from the 1950s "School Days?" It is also known as "Ring, Ring Goes The Bell."

If you don't remember it by the title, I bet you will remember these words:

"Up in the morning and off to school, the teacher is teaching the golden rule."
"American History and practical math, you study them hard, hoping to pass..."
We have a big announcement today: The teachers will "not" be teaching the golden rule this year, as your kids are up this morning and off to school.

American History and practical math will most likely be lost in the attempt to figure out the Common Core Standards.

Any hint of God will place the administration on high alert.

Hopefully your kids will "study hard," but be very vigilant about what they study.

The school year is just getting under way and God has already become a problem for a couple of middle schools.

Two schools are reacting to a threat from atheists and have covered up the monument signs out front of the school so the kids will not be exposed to God as they enter the property to go to their sex-ed classes.

The schools want nothing to do with any "golden rule" influence.

Chaotic Confusion: "Terrorists Are Coming" --"Terrorists Are Not Coming"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

On Friday, US Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told the US and the world there is "no imminent threat against the United States from terrorism."

In contrast on Friday, British Prime Minister David Cameron told the press gathered at Downing Street and the world, "What we are facing in Iraq now with ISIL (Islamic State) is a greater threat to our security then we have seen before," calling his country to take immediate and decisive actions.

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia's King Abdulla warned America and Europe that the Islamic State's terror "will reach Europe in a month and America in another month."

Our own president told the press on Thursday, "we have no strategy" regarding the advancement of ISIS and terrorism.

The Wall Street Journal carried an article Saturday reporting that Henry Kissinger's new book---out on September 9, defines a new world order that is well under way.

Kissinger suggests history is not kind to nations that set aside their sense of identity in favor of a seemingly less arduous course, yet he advocates a "new world order."

What in the world is going on?
