Kenyan leaders are warning President Obama that he should not try to bring his "gay agenda" or his "abortion" to Kenya when he comes to their country later this month.

Religious leaders are telling the country---and the world, "It's important for us as Kenyans to know the US is not God."

Leading political leaders say, "We are telling Mr. Obama when he comes to Kenya this month and he tries to bring the abortion agenda, the gay agenda, we shall tell him to shut up and go home."

Those two agendas will likely be President Obama's personal legacy.

God forbid they become the legacy of America.

The White House has responded. So have 8 openly gay, Obama appointed US Ambassadors.

President Obama will visit his father's homeland this month as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.

Irungu Kangata, lawmaker in President Uhuru Kenyatta's The National Alliance (TNA) party said if the US president tries to push his gay agenda and abortion agenda on us "we will tell him to shut up and go home."

Monday the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya publicly called for America's president to please refrain from discussing his gay agenda.

It was Evangelical Bishop Mark Kariuki who said, "It is important for us as Kenyans to know that the US is not God."

Lawmaker Jamleck Kamau, also a member of TNA Party, said publicly, "Anybody who tries to come and preach to this country that they should allow homosexuality, I think is totally lost."

"And I would also like to a add, our son from the US, Barack Obama, when he comes here, to simply avoid that topic completely because Kenyans will not be happy with him if he comes to bring the issue of homosexuality in this country."

Justin Muturi, the speaker of the National Assembly, said to an Anglican Church congregation last Sunday, "We must be vigilant and guard against it. We must lead an upright society and not allow obnoxious behavior as we have a responsibility to protect our children."

Rose Mitaru, one of 47 female lawmakers in Kenya, said that allowing Obama's same-sex marriage in her country would open "floodgates of evil synonymous with the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah."

Deputy President William Ruto told a church congregation last Sunday that homosexuality was "against the plan of God." He said, "Those who want to engage in those businesses, they can do it in their own countries, and they can do what ever they want...In Kenya, we will stand firm."

Jesus wept.

This nation, founded on godly principles, values and morality has led the world in political freedom and liberty.

We have helped rebuild nations after world wars, we have liberated nations around the world, asking for nothing more than enough ground to bury our dead soldiers---our sons and daughters.

Our Christian missionaries have lived among the people of the world and taught them how to have personal and spiritual freedom and liberty through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through the preaching and teaching of the gospel women have been given value, human dignity has been restored and individuals have received eternal life through Jesus Christ.

That has been the legacy of America.

America has been a liberating force in world history, now we are known as a country that exports bondage and attacks biblical teaching on human sexuality and the sanctity of life under the guise of "human rights."

Kenya is begging America's president, fathered by one of their own, to please not come and attack their biblical beliefs.

They are so desperate to protect their deeply held biblical beliefs from the United States president that some lawmakers are calling for Kenya to refuse financial aid from the US.

In light of all this, how is President Obama responding to their concerns?

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday, "I'm confident the president will not hesitate to make clear that the protection of basic universal human rights in Kenya is also a priority and consistent with the values that we hold dear here in the United States of America."

Code for "ever onward" with the president's abortion and homosexual agenda.

Eight openly gay US Ambassadors, appointed by President Obama, are not so subtle in clarifying the president's agenda.

They have written an op-ed for "The Advocate," a homosexual advocacy magazine which was also posted on White House.gov.

The intentions of the president are made very clear by these folks. They explain that "trade policy" is one of "the most promising tools" to advance the meme that the LGBT agenda is "the" agenda "that expresses America's values."

They also explain how "these values" can be enforced through labor agreements with "a significant expansion of enforceable labor rights," under the guise of eliminating employment discrimination.

Has it come to this?

Countries that seek to honor godly, biblical principles and values are begging the US president not to undermine their religious beliefs.

The words of Justine Muturi, Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya (similar to our own Speaker of the House) echo from the other side of the world: "We must be vigilant and guard against it---we must lead an upright society."

We also hear the words of one of our own, Founder Noah Webster: "In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate---look to his character."

Webster continued: "When a citizen gives suffrage to a man of known immorality he abuses his trust; he sacrifices not only his own interest, but that of his neighbor, he betrays the interest of his country."

God help us.

We can do better than this.

Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful. Be Pro-Active.
