Nationwide Shut Down On Inauguration Day: "Let It Begin In Seattle"

KIRO TV 7 reports that Kshama Sawant, a self-avowed Marxist member of the Seattle City Council who is part of the George Soros-funded Occupy Wall Street movement, has called for a “massive protest” against President-elect Donald Trump and a “nationwide shut down” on Inauguration Day.
All Trump voters, she says, have "a racist agenda." That would include 81% of all evangelicals.

Sawant held a press conference calling for a mass protest in Seattle. That protest was attended by students, members of Seattle’s LGBTQ community, as well as Occupy members and Muslims.

Calling up the old principles of the failed Marxist Revolution, Sawant is building her coalition, hoping to shut down the country.

UPDATE : The case against Barronelle Stutzman, the Richland, Washington florist, is being heard today by the State Supreme Court.

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Kristen Waggoner will be available for media interviews Tuesday following her oral arguments before the Washington Supreme Court on behalf of Richland floral artist Barronelle Stutzman, whom the state attorney general and the American Civil Liberties Union sued for acting consistently with her faith. Stutzman also will be present to provide a statement to the media following the oral arguments.

KIRO TV 7 reports that Kshama Sawant told the 2,200 people gathered with her, "I appeal to you: Today at 4 o'clock, Westlake, let's have a massive protest, and tell America we do not accept a racist agenda. And let's make sure that, on Inauguration Day, on the 20th and 21st of January, let's do a nationwide shut down and Occupy inauguration."

Sawant was born in India and became the first socialist to win a city-wide election in Seattle since Anna Louise Strong was elected to the school board in 1916.

Besides being a socialist and community organizer who agitates through the Occupy Wall Street movement, she is a self- avowed Marxist with membership in the committee for Workers International, a Trotskyist organization in Britain.

I wrote about her a couple of years ago when she was a professor at Seattle Central Community College because she was agitating against the state of Israel calling for Obama to cut off all aid to Israel, among many other far-Left socialist agenda items.

A little over a year ago, the college decided not to renew her contract.

No problem, she has now found a home on Seattle's City Council.

In a speech at University Temple Methodist Church in Seattle in 2013, she told the Methodists, "The root of all problems is capitalism."

She said, "And if you're angry about the tax on reproductive rights for women, if you're angry about the almost skyrocketing of rape cases and just gruesomeness of sexual violence, if you're angry about the tax on LGBT rights, if you're angry about how hard it is to fight for LGBT rights...all these questions are so interrelated because they are stemming from a system that unendlessly and relentlessly creates conditions for all these problems---of course, that system is capitalism."

I was told at the time that this humble writer was mentioned during the discourse at the Methodist Church being referred to as a preacher who had lost his way, and now opposes the LGBT agenda and woman's healthcare and supports Zionism.

This is an angry woman looking for issues to be angry about.

WND says, "Clearly, revolutionaries like Sawant have found a precipitating event, the election of Donald Trump, upon which to base an uprising. Only this time, it may be more violent with Muslim Brotherhood and Black Lives Matter elements joining socialists in the Occupy movement."

Muslim Brotherhood activist Khalilah Sabra has openly called for violent revolution in the US.

Last December she announced that the Brotherhood planned to team up with non-Muslim radicals to initiate revolution in America.

She told a Muslim audience in Chicago, "We are the community that staged a revolution across the world. If we can do that, why can't we have that revolution in America?"

She continued, "You know what you should do. And if you do it, Allah has promised us the same victories he granted to those who came before us."

A coalition of hate and anger and opportunism is emerging.

Middle schools as well as high schools, from Washington State to New York, are releasing the kids from class so they can "protest" Donald Trump. This is the equivalent of asking a 5-year-old if he or she is transgender---it's indoctrinating children. And it's abusive.

Hollywood writer and director Paul Schrader is calling for violence following the election.

Schrader, who wrote and directed movies like "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull," says he has been "meditating" on the election, and "Upon consideration, I believe this is a call for violence. I felt this call to violence in the 60s and I feel it now again. This attack on liberty and tolerance will not be solved by appeasement."

Attack on liberty and tolerance?

Robert DeNiro, who played the lead role in "Taxi Driver," has promised earlier to leave the country if Trump is elected.

Notably, it was in that movie that the character played by DeNiro, at one point attempted to assassinate a presidential candidate.

Hollywood director Joss Whedon apparently agrees with Schrader because he tweeted that Trump "cannot be allowed a term in office."

Oprah tried to take a softer approach by tweeting under the picture of Obama and Trump's meeting, "I am hopeful" however, she was publicly attacked on social media by her own followers and her friends in Hollywood.

During Friday prayers, Iranian Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami warned President-elect Donald Trump "not to play with Iran", vowing to "resist until our last breath."

I assume this threat is related in part to the fact that Iran has already broken Obama's agreement several times regarding their development of nuclear weapons. I suspect tearing up the agreement would be considered "playing with them."

Without question, we are living in unusual times---perilous times.

Psalm 66:7 comes to mind: "He rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves."

God is in control of the world---including your world.
