FBI "Secret Society" To Bring Down Trump?

Rep. John Ratcliffe, chair of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Cyber Security, says they are looking into the possibility of a "secret society" within the FBI convened or planned following the election of Donald Trump for the purpose of bringing down his presidency.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is vowing "to leave no stone unturned" in his investigation into how and why the 5 months worth of FBI internal emails just disappeared.

Here's why Ratcliffe and other elected officials are looking into the possibility of a "secret society" within the Bureau.

Monday the US House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence put out a press release expressing concern over the "critical gap" in the email they had requested from the FBI.

The release said in part:
“This weekend we met to discuss the text messages and possible next steps in our oversight of these agencies. The contents of these text messages between top FBI officials are extremely troubling in terms of when certain key decisions were made by the Department of Justice and the FBI, by whom these decisions were made, and the evident bias exhibited by those in charge of the investigation. The omission of text messages between December 2016 and May 2017, a critical gap encompassing the FBI’s Russia investigation, is equally concerning. Rather than clearing up prior FBI and DOJ actions, these recently produced documents cause us to further question the credibility and objectivity of certain officials at the FBI.”

Rep. John Ratcliffe, appearing on Fox News with his colleague Rep. Trey Gowdy, told Fox's Martha MacCallum there may have been a "secret society" at the FBI after President Trump's election.

He said, "We know about this 'insurance policy' that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president. We learned today about information that after in the immediate aftermath of the election that there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI---to include Page and Strzok that would be working against him. I'm not saying that actually happened, but when folks speak in those terms, they need to come forward to explain the context with which they use those terms."

And the FBI senior agents did indeed "speak in those terms."

On another Fox News show, "America's Newsroom," Rep. Trey Gowdy was asked, "What do we need to know at this point?"

Gowdy: "We need to know a couple of things. Number one we need to know how the world's premier law enforcement agency managed to lose five months worth of texts. And what is also troubling in the text we do have they're discussing how to avoid texts being captured and secured. So what is missing is important but also what is there is important. It is manifest bias not just against Trump, but against his kids, against his business interests. There is a text where they hope the Trump Hotel fails. That is a level of bias that you rarely see and you never see from law enforcement officers. What is also troubling to me is the text that Johnny Radcliffe found last night about a secret society. Now, I have no clue what that means because that is not the phraseology I used. But its the day after the election and it's the same two people that were discussing a little bit later in the text the damage they has done with the Clinton investigation and how they could, quote, fix it and make it right. That is a level of bias that is stunning among law enforcement officers."

Gowdy also commented on his concern regarding Strzok's assessment of the Trump investigation, when he said his gut tells him there is "no big there, there."

Clearly' Strzok had no interest in actually following the facts if they cleared Trump. He was only interested if there was something there that could bring down the president.

On behalf of the Justice Department, A/G Sessions says "he will leave no stone unturned" in getting to the bottom, of all this.

Commenting on President Trump's first year in office, Franklin Graham says "the left and the media have attacked Trump since day one and want to destroy him..."

Franklin reviewed how well the economy is doing and benefiting most everyone, then noted that the liberals hate the name of Jesus---and it's refreshing to have a president who is not afraid to say 'Jesus' and end Cabinet meetings in 'the name of Jesus'."

He said the president certainly has flaws, but "he defends the Christian faith more than any president in my lifetime."

"So, I applaud what he has done this first year, even though he has been attacked since Day One," said Graham. "The left is trying to destroy this man. It’s almost like we’re in the middle of a digital coup. And that’s what it is, a digital coup d’etat. They want to force him out of office. They want to take control of our government. We need to pray for this man."

Agreed.
