Kavanaugh Nomination, Timing is Everything---Or is it?

If Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein would have done the right thing when she received "the letter" from the anonymous professor---now revealed professor--the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court would be in a different place.

To the secular progressive, the end always justifies the means. In this case, keeping the letter hidden until the closing moments of the confirmation hearing was "right" because the end is noble.

Defeat Kavanaugh. Preserve legal abortion on demand.

Timing is everything. Or is it?

Be informed.

Almost lost in the swirl of activist "news" coverage of the Kavanaugh matter is his personal statement:

“This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes --- to her or to anyone. Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday. I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity.”

The Testimonies

Mark Judge. The Friend in the room.

The New York Times reported last Friday the "letter" not only details the event of Kavanaugh's alleged "sexual misconduct" in a bedroom, but identifies a teenage friend of Kavanaugh's, Mark Judge, as also being in the room.

The Times says Judge told them the event described by the accuser doesn't match Mr. Kavanaugh's character---"It's not who he is," he said, calling him a "brilliant student" who was into sports and was not "into anything crazy or illegal."

Judge said he, Kavanaugh, and others were raised in Catholic homes and were taught that the kind of behavior described in the "letter" would not be tolerated. He said, "That kind of behavior would stick out, which is why I don't think it would happen."

He went on to say he was absolutely "not in the room and has no memory of anything like that ever happening."

In fact, he told the Daily Caller the story is "just absolutely nuts."

Why would he not be asked to testify?

The 65 women who knew Kavanaugh back then and have written their own letter about him.

They all knew him back in the high school days. All say he couldn't have done it. That isn't who he was or is.

In fact, their support for him is so strong and convincing, the Left-leaning Politico tried to launch a news article saying many of the women have now withdrawn their support.

Fake!

The Daily Caller reported this yesterday:

Women are running away from their support of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in droves — at least, that’s what a few misleading tweets that circulated on Monday would have you believe. But in reality, of the 65 women who signed a letter supporting his nomination, none have publicly withdrawn their support. Several, in contrast, have reaffirmed it.
Politico writer Daniel Lippman raised questions when he tweeted that of the 65 women who initially signed a letter in support of Kavanaugh, “only TWO said they still stood by him.” (That number was later updated to five.)
According to his article, however, that number only actually reflected the women who had responded positively to requests for comment.
He indicated in the tweet that he had contacted “over two dozen,” most of whom did not respond.

Oh, the deception.

Why would they want to talk to him? They all would know where he is coming from, and what his motive was.

They rejected his unwanted advances.

Why are these women not being asked to testify?

Feinstein hesitated about accuser's truthfulness, while the accuser will not commit to testify.

Sen. Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee and keeper of the letter, said when asked by reporters, "I can't say everything is truthful, I don't know."

Conservative reporters were asking the Senator about the many memory gaps regarding the incident the accuser says impacted her entire life.

Pressed by reporters who pounced on her hesitation regarding the accuser's truthfulness, Feinstein came back around later on Twitter and clarified that she "does" believe the accuser is truthful.

The Senate hearing with Kavanaugh and accuser, Ms. Ford, scheduled for this coming week, will clear things up. Right?

Kavanaugh immediately said he will testify anywhere, any time under oath on the matter.

Ms. Ford had initially said she would also testify---in fact, her lawyer told CNN that "Ford is willing."

However, at 8:30 PM last night, the Washington Times reported that Ms. Ford has now said the FBI must investigate Kavanaugh first, then she will be willing to testify.

It's well known that the FBI has already refused to investigate the matter. The FBI has already investigated and vetted Kavanaugh 6 times since 1993 for purposes of confirmation to various positions. Nothing even related to anything like this has ever been found in Kavanaugh's life history.

This will be developing throughout the day today. Who knows where it will all end?

It's not really about a bedroom incident, or the fact that the accuser can hardly remember any of the details.

It's about using the bedroom and the accuser for "noble purposes"---to defeat Kavanaugh and preserve Roe v Wade.

So-called "progressives", religious and secular, are willing to sacrifice a man's reputation and career to preserve their "right" to legally kill unwanted, unborn babies.

They show no hesitation in trying to subvert the will of the people who elected a president who would appoint "Originalists" and "Constitutionalists" to the Supreme Court.

To the progressive, the end always justifies the means.

To the secular Left progressive, timing is everything and their delay tactics are working for the moment.

But Truth trumps timing.

When was the last time you saw conservatives act like this? You haven't. Even when President Obama appointed Sotomayor and Kagan---both leftist activists---to the Supreme Court, you did not see these kinds of charades from the conservative Republicans.

Let's get real.

Senator Orin Hatch (R-UT.) told the New York Times,
"The claims are wholly unverifiable, and come at the tail end of a process that has already been marred by ugly innuendo, dishonesty and the nastiest form of our politics. The American people deserve much better from the Senate as an institution."

He's right. We do.

And we need to assert ourselves by expressing our will to our elected officials---the public servants.

Washington State Senator Patty Murray told the Republicans yesterday regarding how they handle the Kavanaugh matter---"Women are watching."

So are all conservatives.

Abraham Lincoln said,
"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
