NBC Mocks Wounded Vet Candidate

With the election looming, and you believe the end justifies the means---anything goes.

But does it have to go this low?

One of NBC's premier programs mocked former Navy Seal and current Republican congressional candidate, Dan Crenshaw, because he wears an eye patch after losing his right eye in combat.

NBC's mockery is disgusting.

Crenshaw's response is classy. And refreshing.

Comedy isn't funny anymore.

Last weekend, NBC's Saturday Night Live "comedian" Pete Davidson continued the tradition of most comedians today. He was saying words, but they're not funny.

In a segment on "The Weekly Rundown," where Davidson was giving so-called "humorous" comments on the "unusual rash of 'gross' candidates in this year's mid-term election," Davidson couldn't restrain himself.

As Crenshaw's face appeared on screen, the funny man who isn't, said, "Hold on. You may be surprised to hear he's a congressional candidate from Texas, not a hitman in a porno movie. I'm sorry, I know he lost his eye in war or whatever."--- And there was more we won't repeat.

Who is Dan Crenshaw?

This is an excerpt from Dan's bio explaining how he actually lost his eye and how he has persevered since serving overseas:

On Dan’s third deployment in 2012, his life changed forever. After six months of combat operations, Dan was hit by an IED blast during a mission in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was evacuated and awoke from his medically induced coma learning that his right eye had been destroyed in the blast and his left eye was still present, but badly damaged. Dan was completely blind and the doctors did not believe he would ever see again. Tara stood by him every day and night, keeping faith and praying he would see again. After several difficult surgeries, he eventually regained sight in his left eye, a miracle according to the head surgeon. Dan refused to quit and went on to deploy twice more, first back to the Middle East in 2014 and then South Korea in 2016.
Dan was medically retired in September of 2016, after ten years in the SEAL Teams. He left service with two Bronze Stars (one with Valor), the Purple Heart, and the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, among many other recognitions. Soon after, Dan completed his Master in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. In September of this year, he was back in Houston, volunteering for days on end in areas of Katy devastated by Hurricane Harvey. He saw first-hand the unthinkable losses that his neighbors suffered, but he also saw Texan grit and resilience. He wanted to do more, and this November Dan and Tara decided that the best way to serve the people of Texas would be in elected office.

Crenshaw's response to the "joke.".

Davidson didn't get the response he was hoping for. A number on the Left criticized him, saying he was way out of line---including ultra-far Left Chey Chase---an alum of Saturday Night Live.

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel spoke for millions when she said, "Dan Crenshaw served for 10 years as a Navy SEAL. He received two Bronze Stars, a Purple Heart, and the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor. NBC owes him an apology, we owe him our support on Tuesday."

Crenshaw responded with the same level of class with which he served our country.

He tweeted:
Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended. That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes.

Why does the far Left feel so entitled?

The Left has generally rejected conservative Judeo-Christian values. Those of the Left who even claim to be "Christian," do so with stipulation and contingencies.

Christian Hillary called for fellow Christians to move on---let go of old codes and outdated beliefs. Those unwilling to forsake traditional values, she labeled "deplorables."

Obama consistently bent Scripture to support his evolving beliefs---particularly regarding same-sex "marriage"---calling biblical Christians, "People who cling to their guns, religion and Bibles."

VP Joe Biden said often he was personally pro-life, but felt he must be pro-choice in his professional, political life.

Nancy Pelosi often quotes Scriptures that she believes affirms everything from radical climate change, to abortion to socialism.

The Left always feels empowered and emboldened in what they do and what they say because the end always justifies the means---whatever it takes to achieve the goal.

The end justifies the means.

Leftists are the only source of their values. What they decide is truth, is true. They stand in their own truth.

Leftists not only believe they are right, but they claim a moral elitism and moral superiority.

It's unimaginable that a conservative would ever feature a skit mocking Supreme Court nominee, now Justice, Brett Kavanaugh's accuser Dr. Christine Ford, but the Left published a cartoon in newspapers across the nation mocking not only Kavanaugh but also his 10-year-old daughter. And "the joke" had a Christian component.

Kavanaugh told of how when the subject of the accusations against him by Ford came up at the dinner table, his daughter suggested they "pray for the woman." Within hours newspapers across the country published a cartoon depicting the 10-year-old Kavanaugh girl kneeling beside her bed praying that God would forgive her "angry, lying, alcoholic father for sexually assaulting Dr. Ford."

Nietzsche, the widely read and studied German philosopher, wrote this in his "The Gay Science" section 125:

“God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?”

It was also Nietzsche who, believing man had created God, therefore could replace God now that He was dead, who coined the term "Ubermensch."

The term literally means: "The ideal superior man of the future who can rise above conventional Christian morality to create and impose his own values."

Welcome to the future. The "Ubermensch" are walking among us, hoping to elect their own in the mid-term election tomorrow.

Be Informed. Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Prayerful.

  1. So now that several women have come to say they lied about Justice Kavanaugh, will the main stream media cover that as much as they did the hearings?
