No Room For Jesus In The Terminal

Baby Jesus has been removed from the Staten Island, NY Ferry Terminal.

The Menorah is okay. The Christmas Tree is okay---but
no Jesus.

Across the way in New Jersey, "American Atheists" has put up a billboard mocking the nativity scene declaring, "You know it's a myth. This season, celebrate reason."

That's okay, too.

The Catholic League responded with their own billboard on the New York side of the same freeway that says, "You know it's real: This season celebrate Jesus. Merry Christmas from the Catholic League."

While we have the battle of the billboards---and I commend the Catholics for the effort and the message, there is yet another image that emerges when we take a closer look with our mind and with our spirit:

"I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me should not abide in darkness."--- Jesus

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."---Jesus.

Let heaven and earth rejoice.
