Judge Amy Coney Barrett To Be Confirmed Today

The Senate, in a rare weekend session yesterday, voted to limit debate on Judge Amy Coney Barrett's Supreme Court nomination, opening the door for her to be confirmed to the Supreme Court sometime today.

Under the rules, the Senate could vote to confirm as early as 7 PM today.

Biden has finally responded to what he, as President, will do if Judge Barrett is confirmed to the Supreme Court.

America is in a fight for her life. And the lives of the unborn.

Be informed, not misled.

Confirming Trump's third constitutional nominee to the Supreme Court.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Republican senators stepped up yesterday and did what millions of  Republican voters have asked them to do. They took the necessary actions to block the far-Left pro-abortion Democrats from a last-ditch filibuster against Barrett's nomination.

The Senate could confirm her as early as 7 PM this evening. I'm told that's the plan.

All Democrats are expected to vote against Barrett's nomination.

Yesterday, Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) sided with Democrats in voting against limiting debate---eliminating the filibuster the Democrats wanted to carry out all week and beyond if possible.

However, Murkowski has signaled that she will vote to confirm Barrett after she had said she was a bit "skeptical" of the nomination.

Collins has promised to vote against Barrett's final confirmation because it's "too close to the Nov. 3 election."

Why is she a Republican?

On Saturday Murkowski said on the Senate floor,

"I believe that the only way to put us back on the path of appropriate consideration of judicial nominees is to evaluate Judge Barrett as we would want to be judged---on the merits of  her qualifications."

That's what true conservatives always do, Ms. Murkowski.

She added: "When the final vote comes, I will be a yes."

Republicans only need 51 votes to confirm a new justice, meaning that with a 53-member majority, the GOP can afford to lose up to 3 Republican votes, with Vice President Pence able to cast the tie-breaking vote if a 50-50 split should occur.

I doubt Pence's vote will be needed. Emperor Mitt Romney has said he has decided to vote to confirm Judge Barrett after deep consideration.

Democrats Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Occasio-Cortez, and others have been threatening to "pack the court" if the Republicans do what they very likely will do today.

Biden finally admits how the Democrats plan to retake the Court with trickery.

President FDR tried to "pack the Court"---establish through legislation more seats on the Court, then nominate far-left activist justices to insure the "progressive" agenda will move forward--back in his day, but miserably failed.

Joe Biden has evaded answering whether or not he would actually pack the court should he be elected, and if the Democrats controlled Congress. In fact, he's said a couple of times voters didn't "deserve to know until after the election."

However, on a friendly chat with CBS's "60 Minutes" last night, Joe told his enabler ---interviewer--that he plans to set up "a bipartisan commission of scholars" from across the ideological spectrum to explore ways to change the Supreme Court.

He said, "And I will---ask them to over 180 days come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the Court system because it's getting out of whack."

He said, "And it's not about court-packing. There's a number of other things that our constitutional scholars have debated and I've looked to see what  recommendations that commission might make."

To me, this appears to be another attempt on Biden's part to mislead the public. It seems to me he is trying to stand on both sides of the issue of "packing the court." Democrats on both sides of that issue are upset at him.

After 47 years of being an elected politician, you would think he'd be more skilled at the art of deception. He's not skilled, however, he just lies and moves on under the cover of the press.

Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX.) said Biden's response is "Truly radical."

Sen. Cruz has proposed a constitutional amendment to lock down the number of Supreme Court justices at the current number of nine.

He says, "Our constitutional rights hang in the balance, and we are One Vote Away."

Current Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says: "My view: Everything is on the table when we get the majority. First job, get the majority."

In the same spirit, Nancy Pelosi announced this weekend she will be running for Speaker of the House again as the Democrats keep control of the House in the upcoming election.

If half the 40 million self-identified evangelicals who didn't vote last election, would do so this election, and vote for what they claim to believe regarding only one single issue--Abortion---the sanctity of life, Biden, Schumer, Pelosi and the rest of the left would be irrelevant for another 4 years.

And His Truth would continue marching on.
