Netflix shares dropped seven percent in extended trading on Wednesday after the company posted a third-quarter earnings miss after the bell on Tuesday.
Who cares what happens to Netflix? Obviously, the stockholders.
But we all should take note for a couple of reasons.
Be informed, not misled.
Netflix is claiming that a continuing $600 million dispute with Brazilian tax authorities is a reason for the weaker-than-estimated results.
However, the dip also comes amid ongoing backlash by viewers and users over transgender content promoted for children by the streaming giant.
Netflix is "transitioning" to become the next Disney in preying on our kids.
People are reacting. Even Elon Musk has joined the chorus of parents telling Netflix to stop the grooming.
Musk has taken to X to urge the public to cancel their Netflix subscriptions “for the health” of their children.
He says, "Netflix is a Trojan Horse. Cancel your subscription."
It is. Netflix presents itself as " entertainment" as it rolls into your home. Once in, it releases the demons into the minds of the children.
And they are obsessed with transgender themes, just like Disney.
Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett is calling for Netflix executives to explain the massive amounts of “demonic” transgender content in its children’s programming.
Burchett and House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R, KY) have presented the streamer with a letter calling executives to a committee hearing after learning of the cartoon series called Dead End: Paranormal Park, which was aimed at children under 13, featured a transgender main character.
“We need to get them for the committee and ask them what their intentions are with this and if, in fact, they realize what the heck is going on,” Rep. Burchett told Fox News.
“If they don’t come in voluntarily, we ought to subpoena them. Because this is a serious issue. It affects the mental health of our young people, the moral degradation of our society,” Burchett added. “And I would love to sit across the table and ask them some questions."
"Dead End Paranormal Park" is not the first Netflix program to offend conservative parents. Another Netflix kids show, "Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City," promoted transgender drag queens, and Netflix’s "The Baby-Sitters Club" featured a child character shaming doctors for referring to a trans child patient by the pronouns of their biological sex.
Netflix’s "Transformers: Earthspark" has also come under fire for pushing the term "nonbinary" despite being geared to children as young as 7, while "Monster High: The Movie" features teenage characters explaining their preferred pronouns.
This is about to cost Netflix much more than the $600 million issue with Brazil.
Fox News reports that the number of young adults identifying as transgender plunged by nearly half in the last two years.
New research from a San Diego State professor analyzes nationally representative surveys, which show a sharp decline.
Via Fox News:
More data is emerging supporting a sharp decline in the number of young adults identifying as transgender or non-binary.
Last week, Fox News Digital reported on data shared by Eric Kaufman, a professor of politics at the University of Buckingham, showing that the share of college students identifying as anything other than male or female has been cut in half in just two years.
Now, Jean Twenge, professor of psychology at San Diego State University, has identified additional data that appears to confirm these findings on a wider scale.
Recent data taken from college campuses shows a sharp decline in the number of Gen Zers identifying as transgender over the past three years.
Eric Kaufmann, a professor of politics at the University of Buckingham, conducted his own analysis of a large nonprobability-based survey of U.S. undergraduates, which included a question asking them to identify their gender.
Anything that isn't a man or woman is considered "gender non-conforming," the surveying organization shared with Fox News Digital.
In the 2025 survey of 68,000 students, only 3.6% of respondents identified as a gender other than male or female.
"By comparison, the figure was 5.2% in 2024 and 6.8% in both 2022 and 2023," Kaufmann wrote in his analysis, which was published on UnHerd.com.
"In other words, the share of trans-identified students has effectively halved in just two years."
The report also found that "non-conforming sexual identity" has sharply declined, according to Kaufmann. Those identifying as gay or lesbian remained "stable," although heterosexuality has risen 10 points since 2023.
Additionally, in 2024-2025, fewer college first-year students identified as "trans or queer" compared to seniors, which is the opposite of what occurred in the 2022-2023 year.
"This suggests that gender/sexual non-conformity will continue to fall," Kaufmann wrote in an X post sharing the data.
The decline could also signal the fizzling out of a trend, Kaufmann added.
"The fall of trans and queer seems most similar to the fading of a fashion or trend," he wrote.
Takeaway
Jonathan Alpert, a New York City psychotherapist, said this shift likely marks a "natural correction."
"For a while, we taught young people to over-interpret every feeling. Therapy culture told them that every discomfort needed a label or diagnosis," Alpert, who also was not part of the analysis or the survey, told Fox News Digital.
Elon Musk responded to this news with this: "The awful illusion has finally been shattered, with increasing repercussions for the modern-day Mengeles who mutilated children."
"The obvious truth is that you can change your appearance and dress with varying degrees of success, and I don’t oppose consenting, peaceful adults who do so, but you can never truly turn a man into a woman or a woman into a man," he added.
"That is biologically impossible."
Indeed, it is. Here's why.
Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
