To Be Or Not To Be A Doctor

Abdul El-Sayed says Congress needs a Democrat doctor like him. There's just one problem, of course.

There's always a problem with what the Left tries to put on the American people.

He isn't a doctor.

What does the Bible say about deception?

Be informed, not misled.

Townhall says, "Abdul El-Sayed is not a doctor. He's got the degree, but he's never been licensed to practice medicine, and he's never treated a patient. So he's lying about being a physician, because under Michigan law he's not — and he shouldn't even call himself one. Under Michigan law, that's illegal."

Despite this reality, Townhall writes that El-Sayed said measles cases in Pennsylvania prove we need him in the Senate.

Just like we needed Dr. Fauci during COVID.

El-Sayed posted on X," When I say we desperately need a Democratic doctor in the US Senate, I mean it."

This post followed:

"Yes, in Michigan, holding yourself out as practicing medicine/ physician without a license is a felony under MCL 333.165294 (  up to 4 years/$5000). Falsely representing as a licensed health professional and providing treatment is a felony up to 15 years under MCL 750.217d. Using titles to induce belief of licensure is prohibited under MCL 333.16261."

Why is he "needed"? What will El-Sayed do in the Senate? Mandate vaccines, thus undermining "my body, my choice" and parental rights? He certainly won't stop the unfettered illegal immigration of unvaccinated people. That would be racist.

Townhall notes: "If a Republican were touting himself as a doctor without having a license, the Democrats would be demanding he be arrested and charged under this law."

You will recall "Dr." Jill (Biden). The press consistently left the public with the impression that she was a medical doctor.

Stories of the miscarriages and other health complications related to the COVID vaccine — which Democrats tried to mandate for everyone — are now being shared. Trust in doctors and public health officials is at an all-time low, and with good reason.

It's nearly as low as trust in the press.

Is he not aware of these realities?

Politico is not a conservative publication. However, they said this in a recent report:

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for years has publicly said he’s a physician — but there’s overwhelming evidence that he’s had no experience as a licensed medical doctor.

This April, he gave an interview to a local TV journalist where he talked up his credentials as a physician multiple times. In March, he told a group of Teamsters nurses that he had “been in enough codes to watch who really does the work” and said that same month on a podcast that “I’ve been a doctor my whole career.”

His LinkedIn profile currently says he’s a “physician,” and late last month he called himself “a physician and epidemiologist” at a Council of Baptist Pastors debate in Detroit.

But according to a review of Michigan and New York state medical records, he’s never been granted a medical license in those states. El-Sayed’s hands-on experience treating patients appears to be a short clinical rotation called a sub-internship at a small hospital in Manhattan for four weeks at the end of medical school, he told a podcast in 2022, where he said his “job was to be the, like, worst doctor on the team” and he was “cosplaying a doctor.”

Scoot over "native American" Elizabeth Warren.

What does the Bible say about deception?

According to the Bible, deception is the act of misleading others or oneself through falsehoods, half-truths, or trickery, and it stands in complete opposition to the truth and character of God.

The Nature and Source of Deception

  • Opposite of God: God is defined by truth and cannot lie.
  • Satan's Tool: Jesus calls Satan the "father of lies". Deception began in Eden when the serpent twisted God's words to trick Eve.
  • Spiritual Danger: The New Testament warns heavily against spiritual deception, false teachers, and false prophets who look like "angels of light" but lead people away from sound doctrine.

Key Types of Deception

  • Interpersonal Deception: Lying, gossiping, and cheating neighbors are strictly condemned (Proverbs 12:22 states that lying lips are an abomination to the Lord).
  • Self-Deception: People often deceive themselves through pride, arrogance, or by hearing God's word without obeying it (James 1:22).
  • Moral Deception: Galatians 6:7 warns against mocking God through self-deception about sin, noting that people ultimately reap what they sow.

How to Overcome Deception

  • Test Everything: Believers are instructed to compare teachings against Scripture.
  • Put on Armor: Scripture advises wearing the "belt of truth" as part of the spiritual armor of God (Ephesians 6).
  • Seek Discernment: Praying for wisdom and relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit helps expose hidden lies.

According to the Bible, deception is the act of misleading others or oneself through falsehoods, half-truths, or trickery, and it stands in complete opposition to the truth and character of God.

Psalm 12 identifies three primary brands or strategies of deception used to blind people from spiritual truth: vanity, flattery, and blasphemy.

1. Vanity

Definition: Emptiness, pride, or self-delusion where a person trusts in things that have no lasting substance or worth.

Biblical Context: It represents chasing illusions or placing value on worldly status rather than God's eternal truth.

2. Flattery

Definition: Insincere or manipulative speech used to please others for selfish gain, or believing smooth words that distort reality.

Biblical Context: Psalm 12:2 warns against "flattering lips" and a "double heart," highlighting how deceptive speech breaks trust within communities.

3. Blasphemy

Definition: Defiance against God, showing contempt for His authority, or claiming divine status for oneself.

This traces back to the Garden of Eden when deception led humanity to try to "be like God" and reject His rule over their lives.

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant. Be Humble. Be Mindful. Be Prayerful.
