Professing ‘Christian’ Steph Curry Endorsing Kamala Harris to Protect Abortion Rights

NBA star Steph Curry insisted that endorsing Kamala Harris was not a “tough” decision because Harris supports abortion. This is despite Curry’s past claims that he is a committed Christian, not to mention the revelation that his mother almost aborted him when she was pregnant with him.

Steph Curry may be one of the most well-known...and liked supporters of Harris, but he is not the only professing Christian who supports her despite the fact she is an undying supporter of abortion up to the birth of the baby.

How can a "Christian" support someone because they will protect abortion rights?

Abortion is not "women's healthcare," nor is it a "right."

It's the murder of an unwanted unborn child.

What about the "right to life" and the pursuit of happiness?

Be informed, not misled.

The Trump- Harris debate is scheduled for this evening. The world will be watching. I will be talking about it tomorrow morning on our radio program. Please join me. Here's how.

The deception.

Curry appeared on CNBC last week and was asked if appearing at the Democratic Convention last month was a “tough” decision. The player, though, said it was actually an easy decision. When the CNBC host asked what his important issues were, he cited abortion first and foremost, according to Mediaite.

Mediaite, a Leftist publication, published this part of the interview:

On Wednesday morning’s edition of CNBC’s Squawk on the Street, co-anchor Sara Eisen played the clip of Curry’s appearance at the DNC, and asked him why it was “important” to endorse Harris, and Quintanilla followed up by asking if Curry’s business plans gave him pause when deciding to make the appearance:

SARA EISEN: What was the reaction to that and why was that so important for you to do?

STEPH CURRY: The reaction was great. There’s also obviously a lot of noise, in terms of any time you step into this lane, you know, it’s going to be received, you know, in a lot of different ways.

And, for me, it’s all about creating conversations that are about being decent human beings first and foremost. I think we’ve lost that a little bit to where, obviously endorsing Kam is important for me, for my family.

SARA EISEN: Why, what are the issues you care about most?

STEPH CURRY: So.

SARA EISEN: What are the issues you care about?

STEPH CURRY: I just know from especially women’s rights and thinking about, you know, what’s at stake with this election. And understanding, like, we need to be in a position where, women have the right to choose what’s right for them. And that’s at the top of the list for me.

I have amazing women in my life who, you know, been a huge inspiration to me. But knowing Kamala, and haven’t been around her. And I understand she’s qualified for this job. She’s, I think, representing what it means to be a great leader and being a decent human being in terms of representing our country the right way. So it’s an easy choice for me.

Those "amazing women" in his life are deceiving him.

Curry appeared on a video beamed into the convention in Chicago, where he told the faithful, “I believe Kamala as president will bring that unity back and continue to move our country forward.”

Earlier this year, Curry opened up about having his own political aspirations in an interview with CBS.

“I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good,” Curry said. “So, if that’s the way to do it, then maybe.”

The NBA champ alluded to those ambitions again nearly two years ago in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I have certain beliefs that not everybody vibes with,” Curry said. “As long as there’s equality, in the sense of you having all your protections and your rights as a citizen, that should be the very low bar for everybody to adhere to.”

But who determines what "rights?" It is not possible to be a faithful biblical Christian and support killing unwanted unborn babies.

Can Curry win in ultra-left California?

When the blind leads the blind.

Matthew 15:14 quotes Jesus saying, "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

Curry’s stance on Harris and her radical policies on abortion is also strange since his own mother said in 2022 that she almost had an abortion and snuffed Steph’s life out before he was even born.

When she made her revelation, she attributed it to God, the New York Post reported at the time.

“So God is just bringing it all together and showing me to be able to say, ‘Hey, here’s this decision I made at this point, and look at the blessing that he has become,’ and I just thank God for that and I just say to God that it was meant to be,” Curry said. “And, to not carry judgment. You don’t have to carry a lot of judgment forever. Give ourselves some grace in making the decision with what we had to make the decision with when we made it. But, my favorite scripture says that all things get worked together for the good, and those called according to His purposes and praise Jesus. It all worked out. There’s Stephen, and look what he’s doing, and it’s just amazing to me."

Despite all this, Steph Curry thinks preserving the freedom to commit abortion is the most important issue in this election.

Steph is in the "ditch" with the ungodly voices he's listening to.

He's not alone in the ditch.

The Religious Left web page begins with this welcome:

Welcome! Are you a Christian and a Liberal? We've been searching for you for 14 years! If you're like many others like us you've probably felt alone out there. You've probably been told "You can't be a Christian and a Liberal!" You've probably been ostracized by churches, and conservative "Christian" friends and family. You've probably doubted your own viewpoint at times.

You're in the right place! Conservative "Christians" have turned their back on one of the central tenets of the Bible. The tenet that Jesus said was "The sum of the Law and all the prophets," to Love God and Love your neighbor as you do yourself! And who is our neighbor? Jesus taught us it was a stranger … A stranger, of a foreign belief system, who stopped to help another stranger beat up and left for dead on the roadside while religious types passed him by! The Bible is full of instructions that this teaching isn't “just for individuals.” It's a universal teaching. It applies to individuals, governments, and businesses.

Welcome home. You have found your tribe. Conservative "Christians" are wrong, and you've been right about Jesus all along!

The site continues, "We’re not about Dogma here. We’re just Christians who think the political and Christian right-wing have their priorities wrong."

Takeaway

There is a lot of carefully worded content on the so-called "progressive Christian "website.

However, this statement reveals the truth about how deeply these folks are deceived:

The Christian Left sometimes differs from other Christian political groups on issues including homosexuality. This is often not a matter of different religious ideas, but one of focus — viewing the prohibitions against killing, or the criticism of concentrations of wealth, as far more important than social issues emphasized by the religious right, such as opposition to active homosexuality. In this case, similar to philosophies expressed by writers such as C.S. Lewis, these members of the Christian Left believe homosexual sex to be overemphasized when compared with issues relating to social justice, or even matters of sexual morality involving heterosexual sex. Bottom Line: We welcome ALL to their place at God’s table, just as they are. All means ALL. No exceptions. We reject all attempts to define our Faith by the two wedge issues of Gay Marriage and Abortion.

Truth: All means all are welcome to come to the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ and confess their sins of homosexuality, murder of unborn babies, or any other sins that humans commit. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God--and receive forgiveness of those sins and deliverance from those sins by believing that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was Resurrected from the dead for the remission of those sins. And accept Him as Lord and Savior of your life.

Let's get out of the ditch and get back on track.
