Illegals Win Democrat Debate

I'm still thinking about the far Left extravaganza last Thursday on NBC.

All 10 Democrat candidates for the presidency of the United States raised their hand, pledging their allegiance to the idea of free healthcare for all illegals in America, and essentially advocating for open borders.

The candidates appeared to be competing to be president of illegal aliens, rather than the president of American citizens.

And Joe Biden's answer to the question, "What would you do on your first day as President?" is stunning.

James Dobson recently visited our southern border. His report is powerful.

Be informed.

Joe Biden seized the opportunity to further illuminate the disconnect between so-call "progressives" and us ordinary citizens out here when the candidates were asked, "What would you do on your first day as President of the United States?"

Biden answered, "Well, defeat Donald Trump."

Let that sink in for a moment. It would be interesting to know how he would defeat an already defeated Donald Trump on his first day of a Biden Presidency.

Candidate Buttigieg, who has thanked America for the opportunity to "marry" his husband, a union which he says brought him "closer to God," said, "Let's remember that's not just a theoretical exercise, that criminalization [of illegal entry in to the US] is the basis for family separation."

But it was candidate Swalwell that defined the Left's moral doctrine of open borders.

He said,
"...that person [someone whose only offense is being here without documents] can be a part of this great American experience....Day one for me, families are reunited."

Then he added,
"This president, though, for immigrants, there is nothing he will not do to separate a family, cage a child, or erase their existence by weaponizing the census. And there is nothing that we cannot do in the courts and that I will not do as president to reverse that and to make sure that families are always together.

Even POLITICO, not a conservative news organization, admitted that the candidates steered their Party very close to an official open borders policy without serious consideration of how to handle the consequences.

Non-biblical morality vs biblical morality.

Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez told "Fox News Sunday" yesterday that "Immigrants, including undocumented immigrants, pay billions of dollars in taxes."

We're all immigrants, or children and grandchildren of immigrants. And yes, we do pay billions in taxes.

Illegals--not so much.

Perez tries to make his case and defend the Democrat candidates on the basis of an assumption-- single payer insurance--- this is the "moral thing to do," he says.

It's also socialism.

Of course, we don't have single payer insurance--- that would, in this case, end up causing each individual citizen to be forced to pay this "free" insurance for the illegals. However, Medicare and Medicaid work for now.

And this translates to morality in the mind of the secular far Left.

Bible-based morality, including charity, is not an exercise forced upon individuals by a repressive government.

It's an act of love and caring that springs from the heart of a Christian. And because of our Christian heritage in America, we are the most giving, the most compassionate people in the history of the world.

And that's without government coercion.

Perez continues: "The Party of Lincoln is dead, and one of the things that die with it is compassion..."

Perez seems unmindful that it's the party of Clinton and Obama and Biden that is demanding more support for an abortion industry that rips unborn babies from their mother's womb---and in recent years we've learned they actually dismember the child and sell the body parts.

That same perverted spirit is evident in the far Left thinking regarding the border crisis.

A closer look.

About the "cages" for children at the border.

Former President Obama's top immigration chief in charge of removing illegal immigrants (ICE), Thomas Homan, said last week that the so-called "cages" Democrats have accused President Trump of housing children in were the "brainchild of the Obama administration."

Homan said, "I've been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama, under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built.

Dobson goes to the border.

Dr. James Dobson visited our southern border recently, at the invitation of the White House staff.

Upon his return, he wrote a powerful, compelling and truthful account of his experience. I would encourage you to read the entire account. He said he promised the exhausted US Custom and Border Patrol he would go home and tell everyone that would listen to him, the truth about what's happening at our border.

This is an overview:

  • About 5500 people show up every day in districts organized along our southern border. Among them are large numbers of children, many of whom are unaccompanied by a responsible adult.

Many are sick, diseased and some of the women have been raped in their journey to our border. The medical facilities at our border are overwhelmed by the number of patients they receive each day.

Some of the children are "recycled" and brought back across the border with multisets of "new" parents.
  • Dobson says "let me make it clear that I am among the majority of Americans who want the border to be closed to those who attempt to enter illegally." But, "There has to be a better solution than this.

  • He says "I have been under the impression that these would be immigrants try to cross the Rio Grande River and outrun or evade the agents. That is not true of most." He describes how they cross the river and immediately turn themselves over to the authorities, knowing they will be released onto American soil.

They know they will be fed and given medical care and released.

  • Dobson says "This is the system set up by by a liberal Congress and judges. It is a well known fact that President Obama's administration established many of these unworkable policies, and Congress is steadfastly unwilling to change them. Every effort at reform has been overridden or ignored. It is set in stone. Democrats want massive numbers of immigrants who will someday become voters. Some Republicans support the policies because they want cheap labor for agricultural purposes."

  • The border agents who deal with this every day, Dobson says "are compassionate men and women, sworn to uphold federal law and protect our borders. He says "they care about the detainees---I respect them highly.

However, these same people are hated by some American citizens because of the work they do. Dobson says they are routinely vilified, mocked and demonized. Their families are subjected to ridicule.

    Pray for these agents.

  • Dobson describes every kind of contraband that is illegally crossing our border--lawless gang members like MS-13 and others are also pouring across the border into our culture, making violence for inner cities a way of life.

  • Dobson says the experience made him angry at the "fat cats" from both political parties who facilitate all this.

And he says this:

Their numbers will soon overwhelm the culture as we have known it, and could bankrupt the nation. America has been a wonderfully generous and caring country since it's founding. That is our Christian nature. But in this instance, we have met a world-wide wave of poverty that will take us down if we don't deal with it. And it won't take long for the inevitable consequences to happen.
There is only one solution as I see it, which is for people of faith to pray for our President as he seeks to deal with this humanitarian crises.
He is facing enormous opposition from both political parties, the mainstream media, the entertainment industry, the judiciary, portions of agriculture. powerful lobbies, and virtually every dimension of the culture. I know of no one with political influence besides the President who seems to care about the crises at the border. Will you join us in making it a matter for concerted prayer?

I am personally joining in this concerted prayer for the President and this crisis.

What about you? Will you join in the prayer, as well?

Be Informed. Be Prayerful.
