The New York Times and other media operations are sounding the alarm.
"With the House, Republicans would have full control of the federal government next year," and it appears the GOP will win the House.
The Left is warning of the coming "Republican Trifecta."
While the "news" media is coalescing to undermine Trump's agenda the people elected him to carry out, the Democrats are organizing to stop the people-approved agenda by doing whatever they must do to succeed.
The election may have been a prelude to what lies ahead in the coming months.
Be informed, not misled.
The New York Times begins: "Republicans moved closer to claiming House control yesterday. They have won 214 of the 218 seats they need for a majority, and 16 races remain uncalled. With the House, Republicans would have full control of the federal government next year."
They warn, "Donald Trump and his allies have carefully planned for this moment."
While the Times sounds the alarm, the elected Democrats are organizing against Trump.
Anxious Democrats Plot to Sabotage Trump's Agenda
The problem they face is that they need a voice behind which to organize. No leadership.
The Democrats’ initiative to immediately “resist” Trump might compound their election losses. Democrats are not aligned on why they lost the election, and they do not seem to have a national leading voice to coalesce behind.
Democrats appear confused about why Trump won reelection in a landslide and moved 48 states to the right in the process.
The far left argues the party did not move far enough left, while establishment Democrats argue the push for far-left policies failed to attract voters.
Axios reported Monday afternoon that "House Democrats are strategizing ways to put a damper on the Trump administration's sweeping plans while their party still retains some control in Washington."
Outgoing Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) says: "A lot of things can be undone, but it can take longer to undo them and it will force a priority from them on what they want to focus on."
Jayapal said one plan is to propose a raft of executive orders President Biden could issue to "protect existing structures," such as shielding career civil servants and Justice Department officials.
She also said lawmakers are working on getting funds from the Inflation Reduction Act, bipartisan infrastructure law, and CHIPS Act "out the door as quickly as possible."
Democrats also plan to lean on the Biden administration to fast-track citizenship and residency paperwork for immigrants, Casar said.
According to Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.), they are also trying to devise messaging strategies to bolster Biden's legacy: "Trump is going to inherit a good economy ... [we want to] help educate people about that reality."
Translated: "We want to mislead people into believing prices are not out of reach on most essential goods and services. Everything is just fine."
These people are meeting this week to further strategize on how to kill Trump's agenda---which is the agenda that 75,144,226 and counting American citizens voted for.
The next time you hear a Leftist claim to be "fighting" to "save democracy," don't believe it.
Confusion
- Democrats appear confused about why Trump won reelection in a landslide and moved 48 states to the right in the process. While chaos reigns, Democrat factions are trying to influence the party’s direction. One takeaway from the election for some on the radical left is to blame Hispanic and black voters as misogynists.
- They voted for Trump because they won't vote for a woman?
That theory was pushed by MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
- A second theory suggests the loss had nothing to do with Trump and more to do with Democrats being victims of inflation. That theory has been pushed by the White House, former President Barack Obama, and his former staffers.
- A third theory, pushed by Rep. Nancy Pelosi, suggests that Democrats lost because President Joe Biden did not step aside soon enough to allow for an open primary. “Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” she told the New York Times.
Takeaway
The Bible warns in Ephesians 5:6, "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient."
The Left's words are empty because they are based on nothing more than secular humanism and relativism.
The house on the Left is built on the sand, not on the rock. It never yields good results and does not weather storms.
Speaking of the end times, the Bible says in II Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
There's an underlying principle of life found in Galatians 6: 7-8: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
And there is this in Hosea 8:7: "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up."
