HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has told Congress that the Biden administration was the “biggest facilitator of child abuse” in American history because of how it handled Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs).

“My predecessor was deliberately employing a policy of speed over safety, so they waived all of the identification requirements for sponsors,” Kennedy said.  “Sponsors were not required to show valid identification; they were never fingerprinted, so we don’t know if there’s a criminal record. There was no DNA testing, so the claims that they were taking a family member were … they were dubious.”

The Leftist Biden Administration was so intent on filling America with illegal aliens for political purposes, they gave their children to anyone who wanted them.

Be informed, not misled.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed in a bombshell report that former President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) continuously placed Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) in homes across the United States with adult sponsors who were not vetted by the agency.

The people who are well known for their commitment to killing unwanted, unborn children, apparently, were also disposing of the born children of the illegals to anyone who wanted them.

Unthinkable.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is making public Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) data showing the Biden-Harris administration placed over 11,000 migrant children with unvetted sponsors who were not the child’s parent or legal guardian, and did not conduct home studies for over 79,000 migrant children under the age of 12.

The Trump administration provided Grassley the data in response to his oversight requests, which were stonewalled by the previous administration. HHS additionally outlined the Trump administration’s efforts to implement badly needed reforms in the Unaccompanied Children (UC) program.

“My oversight continues to expose disturbing evidence that the Biden-Harris administration turned a blind eye to tens of thousands of kids who needed proper supervision and care. It’s appalling to prioritize speed and optics over the safety and well-being of children,” Grassley said. “I appreciate the Trump administration’s efforts to undo the damage caused by the last administration’s failed border policies, and I’ll continue my oversight of the issue to ensure abuse like this never happens again.”

Moral failure

According to a summary of data provided by HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement, from January 2021 to January 2025, 11,488 migrant children were placed with unvetted sponsors who were not their parents or legal guardians, and who were not fingerprinted or did not receive a background check. Per U.S. Code 1232(c)(3)(A), sponsors must submit to an FBI criminal history check, based on digital fingerprints, if they are not the parent or legal guardian of a migrant child. The Biden-Harris administration disregarded this law and failed to request or receive fingerprints or background checks for approximately 11 percent of migrant children placed with sponsors who were not their parents or legal guardians.

During that same period, the Biden-Harris administration did not conduct home studies for 79,143 migrant children under the age of 12, including 1,961 children who were placed in households where a home study was recommended. HHS regulations require home studies before releasing a child 12 years or younger to a sponsor who is not their parent or legal guardian. The Biden-Harris administration ignored this rule and failed to conduct home studies for approximately 10 percent of migrant children who were recommended to have one.

During a hearing in May, Kennedy told members of Congress that the Biden administration’s policies regarding the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) program — where migrant kids are turned over to HHS for care and resettlement with relatives in the United States — resulted in potentially 500,000 UACs going missing in the U.S.

This Congress, the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General published a report which validated Grassley’s investigative findings and Kennedy's comments.

Congress confirmed that the Biden-Harris administration lost track of hundreds of thousands of migrant children and placed children with dangerous sponsors and restricted information sharing with law enforcement.

Takeaway

"Jesus loves the little children---all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and brown and white, they are precious in His sight."

God loves kids.

  • God's Heart for the Vulnerable:
The Bible portrays God as a protector and provider for orphans, emphasizing His justice and compassion towards them. Psalm 68:5 states, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling."
  • Care for orphans:
Several verses directly instruct believers to care for orphans. James 1:27 says, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."
  • Consequences for Neglect:
The Bible also warns of the consequences of neglecting or mistreating orphans. Exodus 22:22-24 says,  "You shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless."
  • Examples of Care:
The Bible includes examples of individuals who cared for orphans, such as Esther, who was raised by her uncle Mordecai.
  • Jesus' Example:
Jesus Himself showed great love and concern for children, even rebuking His disciples for trying to keep them away from Him. Mark 10:14 says, "But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
  • God as a Father to the Fatherless:
2 Corinthians 6:18 says, "And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

In summary, the Bible consistently calls believers to care for orphans and children, emphasizing that this is a reflection of God's own heart for the vulnerable.

The way the Biden Administration treated these kids broke the heart of God.
