New Legislation to Repeal DOMA

We are rolling out a campaign to educate the public and hopefully inspire many of you who are already informed, to inform others regarding our effort to REJECT SB 5688.

Please note that we supported R-71 to get SB 5688 on the ballot. You have accomplished that. Now that you have put it on the ballot, we are asking people to vote NO or REJECT SB 5688/Referendum 71. You are to vote no or reject.

We ordered 100,000 flyers yesterday which explain why people should REJECT SB 5688. We have also ordered yard signs that will be available later this week.

I have written an article that has been published in at least one newspaper so far, as an op-ed piece. You read it yesterday. It is now available in a PDF that you can forward to as many people as possible or you may download, print and distribute to friends, family and those in your church. You may also ask your local newspaper to run it as an op-ed article. Click here to download article.

We will likely not have the money necessary to buy large blocks of media time as will the homosexual marriage advocates. However, through a strong grassroots network we were able to put R-71 on the ballot and I believe we can contact a good number of people across the state using the same means. I am equally convinced that as people become aware of what SB 5688 really means to them and their children, they will reject it on the ballot.

Larry Stickney and I are also organizing groups in local precincts to drop off the flyers at homes in each area statewide. We will be reordering flyers as money is available, as we move forward.

Ways to continue the miracle:

1. If everyone who circulated a petition form will, over the month, contact in some way, 100 people to be sure they vote and to be sure they vote to reject SB 5688, that alone will represent nearly a million people.

Nothing is more effective than a personal conversation or contact. The miracle will continue as we take our message to friends, family and colleagues in our communities.

2. We need money to move this forward. I know you know that. Please do what you can. We will move as quickly as we have the funds to do so. Click here to make a donation to the PAC.

3. If you will participate with others from your area in distributing flyers, please let me know by email. Please give me your address and a phone number so we can contact you. Your personal information will be kept in strict confidence, but is necessary for us and the local team to contact you with specifics.

4. Circulate the article I wrote, consider joining the team to distribute flyers in your community and please remember this effort in prayer. I expect unexpected things to happen over the next few weeks as we walk into this phase of our mission together. I am certain God is in control.

Stay focused on the purpose and the principles. Do not be misled or confused. God is not the author of confusion nor of fear. Voices have tried to dissuade us, I am certain they will be heard again.

This is not a time to grow weary in well doing and it is not a time for silence. It is a time to speak.

New Legislation to Repeal DOMA

Today Congressman Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, D-WI, and Congressman Jared Polis, D-CO. plan to introduce legislation to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

They plan to hold a press conference this morning at the House Triangle, near the southern steps of the Capitol Building in Washington D.C.

President Obama has assured them and other homosexual activists he will stand with them in their attempt to redefine and deconstruct marriage. The President has said, "I stand by my long standing commitment to work with Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act."

Homosexual activists say their bill has at least 50 or more co-sponsors.

This, again, is not a time to be silent. We will keep you updated as this bill moves forward and at the appropriate time will ask you to contact your Representative.

Be strong. Be prayerful. Be vigilant.

God bless you.

  1. "Diverts benefits from a family to an unrelated adult??"

The stepmother of my children is obviously not related to them - but she is no less a family member worthy of the same medical & other benefits as my deceased wife. Or would you say since she is not biologically related she is an unholy drain on my family?

Your argument crumbles when you talk about biology. At least when you express your bigotry you are being honest. I disagree, but it is less manipulative.

Another point: this is not about marriage it is about providing families that already exist with equal benefits. By denying 5688 you are denying people equality. You've said on the radio that they already have the same rights. You are either misinformed or lying.

When marriage is on the ballot you could argue then that the definition of marriage is being challenged. But not this one. 5688 is not about marriage. Don't misinform the public and please don't lie!

  2. I'm glad God is control, because God loves all gay people. He wants them to have equal rights. He came to me in a dream last night and told me so. I was a supporter of your's during the petition drive, but now that God has given me this Revelation I'm outta here.

Amen! Glory to God in the Highest! Praise Jesus!

  3. There are those who will come to us using the name of Jesus to further deception, but Praise be to God, not all people will be fooled. Some people honor God with their lips but their heart is far from him. Let's vote against SB5688 because there are no special blessings in heaven for those who live in homosexuality. It's not done in the Lord's house. Therefore let's do what is right that it not be done here in Washington state. Nothing is done in heaven to further homosexuality. Lets do what is good that nothing here in Washington state goes that would further it also, besides SB5688 stinks.

Let's remember that just because some people do things that cause them to stink, it doesn't mean that God doesn't love them. God loves them. Jesus loves them and we should do all that we can to love them also. Just living in this world causes all of us to stink at times. Some of it just can not be avoided because we are human. But we do not have to leave
ourselves in a dirty condition. We
can be cleaned by the word of Christ, and do the things that will help us keep clean with his help. Jesus loves those who are cleansed by his blood just as much as those who are not. Those who are not must come to their cleaning before they will be allowed in heaven because it's the mansion Jesus has prepared.

By saying we are against all incentives that would promote homosexuality, does not mean we
do not love those who have been taken in by it.

One day we will all have to answer for what we did with the Lord's name.

  4. As Ronald Reagan said; "The trouble with liberals is they know so many things that just ain't so."

They believe they are in the majority.
    They believe they are right.
    They believe they are normal.

    It just ain't so.

It took them eight years of nonstop lying about Bush to change congress and capture the White House.

    Behold it fizzle.
    It is a beautiful thing.

They also thing that same sex marriage is not only right but a civil right.

    It ain't so.

The libs are revealing themselves and it ain't pretty.

If the press would tell the truth about these guys it would be over quickly.

  5. You who claim to have dreamed a dream, please tell us more about it. Give us all the details of it.
A dream from the Lord may be filled with lots of glory from heaven. The wealth of wisdom contained in a dream of the Lord is not something to keep to one's

    Genesis 18:19
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

This verse is about Abraham and what God would do concerning Sodom and Gomorrah.

And wasn't Lot found sitting in the gate where elders would be found at the entrance of the city
to do justice and judgment, to plead the cause of the oppressed
and set the captives free by walking the the way of the Lord?

Men like that wouldn't simply trust a stranger coming into their city if they had bags with their donkeys would they? Wouldn't they check out what was in the bags? A stranger could be a spy from an enemy, or carry in something that could polute the city water supply....Stale bread,
and old wine skins?...That was even done before by the enemy when Joshua was in charge.

So tell us all the details of this apparent dream of seeing the Lord...What did he look like? What was the setting? What was in the background? Tell us what you say you saw before you apparently leave our ranks.

There's a difference between the kingdom of man and the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is within reach, and it is coming. Will we be ready when Jesus comes to us? We don't know when the end will be, when time will be no more. Is there anything we need to repent of?

Equal rights you say? What kind of equal rights?

I've watched TV sometimes and saw those judge TV shows where people come on and the judge decides about past bills that were unpaid,
or personal property between people who lived together, as room
mates or whatever, and the judge seems to sort things out by equal rights with the laws we already have.
