FYI: Many have asked which stores are friendly toward "Christmas" this year and which are not. A group has complied a list which you will find interesting and helpful. I have linked it for your convenience. "How Christmas Friendly are Retailers?"

Abortion: "A God-Given Right"

God is often blamed for things He did not do and credited for things he has not done.

Such was the case last week at the Capitol.

At a rally quickly organized by Planned Parenthood, NARAL and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), God and America's Founding Fathers were given credit for something neither have done.

The Capitol rally was convened to react to the Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich, amendment to the House health care bill, which would prohibit any federal money from paying for any part of a health insurance plan that covers abortion and was successfully attached to the House bill in a bipartisan vote.

Oh my.

Democrats are not supposed to do those kinds of things.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., called Stupak's amendment "a stain" and urged the crowd to make him and those who are supporting him, "feel the wrath."

But it was the main speaker, Reverend Veazy, who defined the spirit of the pro-abortion activists.

After vilifying the US Conference of Catholic Bishops who helped Stupak get the vote, Veazy clarified the position on abortion of both the Founders and God Himself.

He said, "Don't let anybody tell you that religious people don't support choice. You not only have a Constitutional right for abortion, but you have a God-given right."

God, forgive us and help us. We have lost our way.
