"Mom In Tennis Shoes"

If you live in Washington State or Washington DC, you likely know who she is.

Senator Patty Murray has become the 4th most powerful person in the US Senate, while telling the folks back home she's just a "mom in tennis shoes."

She, in her rise to power, has been very instrumental in facilitating the far left, socialist agenda of President Obama and the left wing tendencies of Governor Gregoire.

Therein is her problem.

People back home are saying "enough".

A recent Rasmussen poll shows both Dino Rossi and Clint Didier, both running in the primary for the opportunity to run against her in November, lead Patty Murray. Rasmussen found either could beat her at the time he took the poll.

A new television ad---
KOMO 4 calls it an "attack ad, a sniper attack," poor choice of words in light of recent shootings, is running throughout the Seattle area and elsewhere.

When the
ad was first aired, Murray immediately blamed Rossi for it.

Rossi didn't do it. Neither did Didier. American Action Network did it.

The ad points out that the "mom in tennis shoes" has soiled her shoes by stepping on a lot of people in her rise to power, and now many Washingtonians are walking away from her, looking for someone else who will better represent their views and needs.

I have
linked the ad---you must see it.

Last month Faith and Freedom ran a poll among our readers and supporters asking who you favor to run against Patty Murray.

When we took down the poll, Clint Didier had 46%, Dino Rossi had 39% and Paul Akers had 14%.
Today we have put up a
new poll which includes only the names of Didier, Rossi and Akers.

Please participate. Here's why. It is helpful for people to see what others of like mind and beliefs are thinking as we express our preference in the primary, preparing for our best effort in the general election in November.

Think about this wisdom from the past:

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero, 55 BC.

Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful. Be Active. Be Blessed. Be Free.

God bless you.

  1. Why no mention of the doctored video Fox News showed of Shirley Sherrod? It was the biggest political story of the day and a political dirty trick of the worst kind!

    Was it?

    A) Political tricks are only dirty if done by the 'democrat' party
    B) This is a religious site and doesn't delve into pure politics
    C) Gary only watches Fox News and has no idea it was a dirty trick

  2. 10:38 Fox didn't doctor the tape, Brietbard lifted a sound bite from the 45 minute tape of her speech. Obama and his people have ask the American people to watch and listen to the whole thing. I did. I believe listening to the whole speech is more incriminating then the sound bite Brietbard ran which started this whole thing. After listening, I am now convinced she is a racist.

  3. No one accused Fox of doctoring. They just jumped all over the tape and called for her firing without investigating first. Then Fox went strangely silent went it was revealed as highly edited to create a false impression of her statements. Brietbard even acknowledged that.

  4. How anyone can claim FFN is not partisan and political when they don't even have retaining Senator Murray as a choice in their poll boggles the mind.

  5. HOpe everyone is reading bios of candidates and listening to their 'plans'. So far, one front runner is counting on some historical advantage in state campaigns, one is passionate and pleads with the voice of a commoner, and one has a defined plan already proven in his own personal business experience. If you want success for jobs and the economy choose Paul Akers. You get clarity, moral values, gumption, and a track record: no slick willie and no gaming.

  6. 9:46 I'm sure it's assumned that Murray will be the Democrat nominee. I think Faith and Freedom is trying to see how the Republican candidates fare against each other. Do people who support Murray read this web site?

  7. I've noticed a lot of showings of an ad that tells of how Murray worked to help veterans.

She appears at the end of the add telling us that she supports the add because it will help veterans.

It appears it's not so that she might be re-elected.

I'm getting tired of deception and lies. I don't want to be used.

  8. The US Congress next January will be like an alcoholic with a hangover. They will be franticly trying to curb the spending while trying not to hurt all those who are supported by federal spending. Rossi is the guy with both business and budgeting experience - and a very smart guy besides. Didier is a great guy, but lacks the experience of Rossi.

  10. For me to vote for anybody but Murry would be
    like,
"A CHICKEN VOTING FOR COLONEL SANDERS."
