Large billboard trucks are circling the Manhattan headquarters of ABC, CBS, NBC and The New York Times and will continue to do so every weekday for the next month.
The message on the trucks is clear:
"Stop The Liberal Bias," "Tell The Truth."
Similar trucks are operating in Washington DC, driving around the Washington Post, CNN, The Newseum, the National Press Club and POLITICO.
Brent Bozell, president of Media Research Center, the sponsor of the effort, says the goal of their "truth truck" campaign is simple. Tell the truth. Stop pushing an agenda---just tell the truth.
Media Research Center is also posting billboard ads in several other cities, including Seattle.
Bozell says all this is "about generations to come." He says, in America, we have always left the next generation better off.
Now, he says, "We stand to be the generation that will be asked by future generations, 'Why didn't you stop it?' "
He says, "I want to be the generation that says, 'We returned America to her greatness.' There are those who wanted to destroy this country and there were some of us who said, 'No'. That's what I want."
That's what many of us want. Godspeed, Mr. Bozell, Godspeed.
