Merry Christmas

When Mary learned how she would be used by God, she was fearful and questioning, but later confessed, "For with God, nothing will be impossible."

Simeon, a devout man of faith had prayed that he might see the Messiah before his death. He not only saw Him, but held Him and blessed Him.

When the angels appeared to the shepherds they were very fearful, but were told, "Do not be afraid, I bring you good tidings of great joy."

The angels affirmed the words of Isaiah:

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end.

May God's Word be affirmed to you as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Merry Christmas.
