Spokane PP Workers Laugh as Woman Put in Ambulance

While Planned Parenthood workers in Spokane, Washington stood nearby laughing, emergency responders loaded a patient into a waiting ambulance to be rushed to a near-by hospital last week.

The incident happened this past Thursday, which is widely known to be one of the "abortion" days at the clinic.

Mary Sorensen, who volunteers for Sidewalk Advocates for Life in Spokane, told Operation Rescue that Planned Parenthood employees deployed umbrellas trying to prevent her from getting a picture of the incident.

Sorensen says she was astounded by the demeanor of the Planned Parenthood employees---you will be too.
As a result of our article yesterday, we have received a number of inquiries as to whether there are any Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Seattle area or in Washington State. I am aware of 2 new stores that will be opening soon. One at 785 116th Ave. NE in Bellevue opens on March 5, 2015. The other in Lynnwood at 3026 196th ST SW opens April 9, 2015.

She told Operation Rescue, "Astoundingly, they were laughing---laughing as they used their umbrellas to block our view---a woman is harmed, and they laugh."

Obviously she was able to get a picture to document the incident, otherwise it would have never been unknown outside the dark corridors of the abortion industry.

I have searched Spokane news sources and am unable to find any mention of it.

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, says, "All too many abortion patients have ended up on a slab in the morgue. We pray that this woman's injuries were survivable and somehow those responsible for her suffering will be brought to justice."

He said he appreciates Mary Sorensen's quick thinking and actions because it provides documentation that "abortion is not safe in America and never has been."

Ironically, this Planned Parenthood situation came as the City of Spokane was considering a new ordinance that will prevent pro-life sidewalk counselors from stepping into Planned Parenthood's driveway to distribute literature to abortion bound women.

The Spokesman Review reports "250 people jammed the council chambers and adjoining Chase Gallery to get a chance to speak at the lectern regarding the new city law."

Councilman Mike Fagan made an impassioned plea to the council to strike the proposal down. He argued that the law was unconstitutional and violates free speech rights.

Councilman Jon Snyder told the council and the crowd he believes in "a woman's right to choose" but asked, "Why is this business [Planned Parenthood] any different," saying "it isn't, it isn't."

Fagan also told the meeting, "I am pro-life---I am a Christian"---sharing the mistake he had made as a teen when he and his girl friend terminated a pregnancy.

The council did not heed Fagan's call.

In great part because the business of abortion, which is the point of Planned Parenthood's spear, "is different," as Mr. Snyder seemed to recognize.

Planned Parenthood is powerful. It is the face of evil.

The law was passed by a vote of 6-1. God bless you Mike Fagan for standing for life.

Be Informed. Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Pro-Active. Be Prayerful.

  1. I literally thought that this was an article from The Onion.

  2. Amanda, I don't think there is anything about Planned Parenthood that is laughable in any way. This is a very sad commentary on us as human beings. Life is truly sacred. Sometimes events can be so shocking words just can't be expressed.

    1. Oh I didn't say anything about Planned Parenthood being laughable. I was referring to this piece itself.

  3. A lot of assumptions here. How do you know it was a patient and not an employee or visitor? If it was a patient, how do you know she was having an abortion? How do you know they were harmed in the clinic and didn't come into the clinic with a problem? How do you even know it was a she? In religious speak, I guess this is what you call Truth.

  4. Risk associated with abortion is minimal. Less than 0.3% of abortion patients experience a complication that requires hospitalization.

  5. So I guess this sort of thing could happen again, or something like it, and if one who is pro-life is nearby and has some literature, they will not be able to intercede in any way, not even to ask the hecklers to "Please have mercy."

  6. Just for the record, if I am hurt, injured, or bleeding and in pain, I would rather you would be asking, "Are you OK? Can we help you in any way?
What can we do for you? Can we pray for you?", instead of laugh during such a time as that.

I would like to know that somebody cares, even if there is little they can do for me. And I hope they would pray no matter what.

    1. 1) We don't know for sure that anyone was laughing.
      2) If anyone really was laughing, we don't know why. It's very possible (even likely) the person going into the ambulance made a joke to lighten the stress. Personally, I tend to make bad jokes to lighten the situation when I have people attending to an injury.
3)How do you know they weren't praying?

Oh, that's right, when you assume for sure that you know things without evidence, it's called Truth.

  8. So it seems like the council would rather have us left to the jackals.

  10. Judging by how many of the sidewalk stalkers/counselors were lying at City Council the other night, this claim has as much validity as that of the earth being 6000 years old. Get a job ya stinkin' perverts!

  11. Six on the "council" ARE jackals, it seems.

  12. After sitting in the Spokane City Council chambers, watching them in action, two weeks ago, Mike Fagen is worthy of much support and the rest are worthy of being bounced from office and run out of town.

    IMO

  14. This post makes me loose hope for the future. Let's all take a moment to pray for the stupidity and ignorance that has befallen the "sidewalk counslers."
