Using Christ's Name, VP Biden Blasts Christians

While addressing one of the nations most powerful homosexual advocacy groups, Vice President Joe Biden used the name of Jesus Christ and God in vain while defending the claim that homosexuality is hereditary.

He then attacked Dr. Ben Carson and all who believe biblical teaching on homosexual behavior, saying they should be eradicated from the planet in the name of "equality" and "tolerance."

Biden conceded, "We're never going to be able to eliminate the bigots." Adding, "They're a small percentage of the population."

A few thoughts for the small percentage waiting to be eradicated from the planet.

The reason Vice President Joe Biden brought Dr. Carson into his raging rant against biblical Christians is because he is one. And he isn't timid.

And a few days ago Dr. Carson, whom CNN introduced as a "renowned neurosurgeon," told them that homosexuality is a choice---a learned behavior---not a gender or inherent biological state of being.

He said, here's one proof: "A lot of people go into prison straight---and when they come out, they're gay."

"So," he continued, "did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question."

CNN had a live meltdown on the air.

Carson later apologized for his "choice of language." But said he opposes same-sex marriage and thinks it should be left up to states, not federal government, to decide.

The anger of Biden is at least in part rooted in the fact that homosexuals and the advocates of their agenda have been unable to come up with a single piece of scientific evidence that they were "born that way," which is one of their popular slogans and bumper stickers.

They desperately want it to be that way, and have spent millions of dollars to find the proof, but science says it isn't. There's no "gay gene." It's learned behavior.

Biden told his audience that although the Obama administration cannot enforce a thought police, people who stand for their religious convictions are in the process of being wiped out.

Barronell Stutzman and other Christian business people have noticed.

Biden said, "They'll continue to be vocal. But make one thing absolutely clear, folks, they are an incredibly smaller and smaller minority."

This is the same proclamation Washington State Representative Jamie Pederson made during the effort to protect marriage in Washington State. He told the Seattle Times we Christians who believe the Bible are "A dwindling minority."

The vice president, as the president has done, linked the events in Selma last weekend with the homosexual agenda, calling the homosexual agenda a "modern day reflection of Martin Luther King's civil rights movement."

Black leaders who apparently are also waiting to be "eradicated" because of their biblical beliefs, are outraged. They are calling these kinds of remarks "ridiculous" and "insulting."

Bishop E.W. Jackson said of Obama's remarks, which mirrored Biden's regarding the linkage, "To compare those two, to me, is highly intellectually dishonest or just outright stupid."

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, another Christian in the eradication waiting room, said of those comparisons, "It is disgusting, it was evil, it was wrong," calling it a "hate rally" no "different than the KKK."

In fact, Rev. Peterson continued to think about it this week and wrote an article yesterday titled, "What Does Obama Have Against Straight White Men?"

Rev. C.L. Bryant, a Baptist minister, says President Obama "Made an incredible error in judgement in relating the two---it was an insult..."

I have never seen in my lifetime, nor have I read of a time in American history, when the president and his administration has degraded marriage, family and Christian biblical teaching  as we are witnessing today.

This is why our forefathers fled England.

Vice President Biden's angry words, directed toward biblical Christians and the God they serve, cross a threshold never before crossed by a man one heartbeat from the most powerful office in the world---the presidency of the United States of America.

With hands raised behind the podium, he told a cheering audience this week, "Every ridiculous assertion from Dr. Carson on---I mean, ridiculous. I mean J___, C___, Oh G__. I mean, it's kind of hard to fathom isn't it."

It is Joe, it is hard to fathom.

Darkness does not understand the light of Truth.

It's hard to fathom that God loves us so much He has given us a plan for life, a plan for good, not evil, for blessing not curse.

It's hard to fathom that their are absolutes---right and wrong.

It's hard to fathom that there are enduring principles and values.

It's hard to fathom that God created the model for marriage and human sexual relations, when one is drowning in the pool of secular relativism and progressivism.

It's hard to fathom that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ can forgive all our sins and set us free from the bondage of destructive behavior.

It's hard to fathom that there is a better way, when we are lost in the darkness of deception. Or despair.

It's hard to fathom the blessings in store for those who, by faith, accept God's Truth.

It's equally hard to fathom the consequences of mocking God, and reaping what has been sown.

In regards to the vice president's prediction that Bible believing Christians will soon be eradicated or "gone" from the culture---that is only partially true.

Until that time, the vice president is merely dreaming. I suggest he and those who embrace his thinking about biblical beliefs read the account in Daniel chapter 2 and 3. These chapters are subtitled, "Nebuchadnezzar's Dream."

There is one other dream---John called it a "vision."

That too, is hard to fathom for those in darkness, but crystal clear for biblical believers. John's vision begins with this: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

It ends with this: "He who testifies to these things says 'I am coming quickly'...then it invokes the proper use of the Lord's name: "May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

The End.

Have a great weekend. Fathom how much God loves you.

  1. For the first time in my life, I am ashamed to be an American.

  2. Once more, Gary, you have published the Truth. I am privileged to have heard the testimonies of those whom our Lord has delivered from "broken sexuality" and then blessed them to have happily found their way to Scriptural marriage.

  3. Suzie on Whidbey8:47 AM, March 13, 2015

Evil is all around us in today's society, from lying and stealing to pornography, drugs, illicit sex, and violence. God calls us to be holy people set apart, not influenced by our wicked culture. Sin always has consequences. Do you take sin and God's wrath seriously? (quoted at the end of a writing about Sodom and Gomorrah

  4. So Biden is feeding their hatred of Christians.

  5. It's as if homosexuals and liberals are the new "perfect race" a prospective Fuhrer wants to create, and the Christians are like the Jews were to Hitler.

  6. It seems like some have "progressed" all the way back to about 1939.

  7. Joe Biden is talking as if he's drunken. I wonder if Hitler ever called the Jews bigots.

  8. Thank you Gary for your dedication in bringing your Biblical teachings and thoughts to us each day. For me, it's a way to start my day and then to pray for you and others that are on the battle front. We are in the final days and we need to be alert to Satan around us, but our eyes upon Jesus. God bless you and may God keep us all in his fold.

  9. If they cannot be right, they are determined to be wrong as loudly as they can.

  10. If I look deep inside myself and decide that I'm gay, then I'm gay. If instead I look at those same factors and don't decide that I'm gay, then I'm straight. Homosexuality is not a choice; rather it is a decision.

I wonder if Biden has any stock in companies that manufacture Zyclone B.

    1. Biden is going now, to try to work out some nuclear deal with Iran.

As far as the US politicians, the Obama administration, I can't figure out what it is that causes them to be the way they are...Is it that these are power hungry politicians, accustomed to manipulate, control, and use whatever means they have, to accomplish simply whatever it is they want, and as they do, they believe no matter what, that they are in control of the greatest power that ever was on this earth (the US) and that no matter what, it will always be that way?

They seem to have few morals, and people in that condition, in control of a strong centralized government, scare me.

  11. We should all try to be more tolerant of our President and Vice President. They are the way they are because they were born that way; It's not a choice. It doesn't matter what their upbringing was, or even if they were born in this country or support the values this country was founded on. It doesn't matter if they don't like the Constitution or Bill of Rights, etc. It's just because they, through the wonder of evolution, caused by random genetic mutation, (both of which are OBVIOUSLY unquestionable facts) have the poor-choices gene. So what do we do about it? We should have compassion for them, no matter how wrong they are, and just understand that they have to be who they are, and if we try to change them, they might get depressed or something. That wouldn't be good for their self-esteem, which we all know is the most important thing! Just remember, every time they show up for work, they're winners, just for participating. If you try and point out that they're making poor decisions and should really consider facts/logic/reality, you're just a bigot and probably a racist too. If fact, if you disagree with any of this, that obviously means you're a racist (by the very definition of the word) and you're part of the evil that needs to be eradicated!!! Even though you're probably not "for" legalized marijuana or assisted suicide, remember, those laws were created for you, so you can either relax and not care about what's going on, or you can opt out of the gene pool to save everyone from the stress of being reminded just how quickly things are going downhill. So, just sit back, relax, and try to enjoy the fact you were born in a great country, even if it doesn't stay that way. Hey, we're "progressing..."

  12. Thank you for what you do Gary. I shared this article on my Church's facebook page on Friday, and boy did that cause a stir. What I had thought would be a helpful reinforcement became more of an education for myself on where my church, the denomination, and many attendees are actually choosing to believe. My sharing of this link was removed by the pastors. Terms like 'faithful dissent' were used to oppose the Biblical principals so clearly laid out in places like Romans 1. My eyes are open more and more each day, and I am shocked at what I am seeing. My eyes started seeing more clearly about 18 months ago when reading the book "Bonhoeffer", by Eric Metaxas. God's ways are above man's ways. God's glory will always trump confusion and evil.

  13. Biden has incurable hoof-in-mouth disease, he can't help it
