AP Puts Gun To Head Of Ted Cruz

Senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz spoke at a Second Amendment rally last Saturday in Iowa.

The media was there. Of course.

Among the pictures of the event Associated Press sent to subscribing news organizations was a picture that puts the head of Ted Cruz directly in front of a picture on the back wall of the room, giving the appearance that the hand gun is aimed directly at Cruz's head.

News coverage shapes what the general public believes to a great extent. Reporters do not just report the news; they shape it.

In this case, without even using words.

Breitbart News published this headline: "Guess The Political Party: AP Photo Lines Pistol Up With Senator, 2016 Candidate Ted Cruz's Brain."

Almost immediately following Breitbart's publication of this story, AP took the gun photos down. When you attempt to access them now, a page comes up with a big, "WHOOOPS, NOT AVAILABLE."

Think of the backlash if the candidate's image would have been Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, O'Malley or any other far left progressive anti-gun Democrat speaking at an anti-gun rally, taken by a "conservative" news organization.

Anyone who has ever taken a picture knows that by stepping a foot or so in either direction would have reframed the picture. This picture was very intentional.

Breitbart observes that it wasn't only photographer Charlie Neibergall, but his editor as well who chose to make this carefully choreographed picture available to all AP's clients.

This is a link to AP's offer to news organizations around the world:

This picture is yet another example of how the news media manipulates the emotions of the public by manipulating the text of their reporting on news, and in this case the images they attach to the text.

It's not surprising that the media isn't voting for Ted Cruz, but the extent to which they go to create negative feelings and emotions toward Cruz and others with whom they disagree continues to be shocking.

The media describes itself as "a mirror, reflecting society."

The reality is that they are a distorting mirror, shaping society, and shaping the way we think.

Brent Bozell, head of Media Research Council, was angry after seeing the images. He said, "This is disgusting. Just days after a horrific shooting that took nine lives, the AP has the gall to unapologetically display a gun aimed at the head of a presidential candidate. They would never do this to Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Nor should they."

Bozell said yesterday after AP published an apology of sorts,"The AP is lying. This is not an accident. They made a deliberate decision to publish the photo. The AP owes Senator Cruz and his wife Heidi, and his children an immediate and unqualified apology. Furthermore I am calling on the AP to conduct a complete investigation of everyone involved in the publishing of the photo and to fire those who ultimately made the decision to publish the photo."

This is only the beginning. As the election process of our next president gains momentum, these manipulations by the press and the entertainment industry will increase.

We know who is the "father of lies" and deception.

We also know the Truth.

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Prayerful.
