Saving Hillary

With an 800-page report released this week on the terrorist attacks on our US Embassy in Benghazi, which killed 4 Americans including the Ambassador, Americans finally know what happened.

Well...the New York Times (and other far Left news sources) is assuring America and the world there was "no smoking gun"---Sec. of State Hillary Clinton did her job--- President Obama did his job---everything is just like they told us it was----and everything is going to be just fine.

Hillary told the press and the American people yesterday, "It's time to move on."

The New York Times spins the story with this headline, "Panel Ends, Finding No New Fault By Clinton."

While much of what the Times says is true, they mislead the public by what they do not say.

Lying by omission.

American Founding Father Ben Franklin said, "Half a truth is often a great lie."

Brent Bozell, head of Media Research Center has been calling out the NYT and other Left news organizations on this tactic for a long time.

Last April, he was pointing out how journalists, including at the New York Times, were helping Hillary as Bernie was beating her in primary after primary.

Dan Gainor also with Media Research says, "The NYT story reads like a Clinton campaign ad."

It is, except they call it news.

A while back he said regarding Hillary and the Benghazi investigation, "The administration did everything it could to avoid dealing with Congress and the press, predicting the press will "spin" its own post-report stories and claim millions of dollars were wasted on the investigation to exonerate Clinton.

Gainor was right. That began this week.

Those Americans murdered by terrorists in our US Embassy in Benghazi were CIA operatives Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, State Department employee Sean Smith, and Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Interestingly, a Google search of "Clinton exonerated" produces the New York Times story linked above and a story by the far Left Huffington Post that calls the Republican investigation "a sham."

The deception is not isolated to Benghazi, it's pervasive. Every "news" story has a bias and most major news organizations---newspapers and TV--- are committed to a far-Left agenda.

While the deception, in this case, is directed toward Saving Hilary---the ongoing mission is about advancing a far-Left secular progressive ideology---a very destructive one.

As the coffins of the 4 Americans who were killed were being transported home to our country and to their families, Hillary, the president and all the president's people were telling the world that the attack on the Embassy was a riot caused by a video made by some guy in California that was negative toward Islam.

While telling us that story, Hillary was emailing her daughter, Chelsea, and the leader in Egypt telling them the attack was a planned terrorist attack.

Family members of the 4 who were killed say Hillary Clinton was telling them the same video story.

In fact, the father of Tyrone Woods, one of the 4 killed, lives in Oregon and told my friend talk show host Lars Larson that Hillary looked him in the eye and promised to "get" the people who made the video and were responsible for his son's death.

Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, one of the murdered Americans, told Fox News yesterday afternoon, "Hillary is a liar."

She said, "I think she ought to be made to acknowledge what she did, and she has not. All she has done is lied and people are believing her."

Smith said Hillary called her a liar for telling the truth about what happened on that fateful night and speaking directly to Hillary she said, "I'm waiting for what you promised me. All I heard was you getting on television calling me a liar. That's not true, Hillary, I am not the liar. You are the liar."

The National Review Online in an editorial yesterday said, "The entire episode is shameful: Foreign-service and intelligence personnel were left in what State Department insiders knew was a death trap even as the threat to them increased. When the inevitable attack came, they were left on their own. And when it came time to explain themselves, administration officials lied: Obama, Clinton, Rice, Rhodes, Carney, and the rest---serially and systematically."

The president had created his own success narrative, telling America Al Qaida's on the run, everything is under control---then Boom; they had a terrorist attack on their hands---a terrorist attack that they decided would not be a "terrorist" attack, rather a spontaneous riot sparked by a guy who made a video in California.

It was communist leader Vladimir Lenin who said, "A lie told often enough becomes the truth."

Patricia Smith pleaded with the media to "do something" and have Hillary "say something."

With few exceptions, the media is obsessed with saving Hillary, not getting at the truth.

Sadly, the media "will" do something, and Hillary "will say something."

But all of it will be carefully edited and produced---all designed for Saving Hillary.

It has been said, "If you tell the truth, it becomes a part of your past. If you tell a lie it becomes a part of your future."

Hillary seems to have a sense of destiny to become the first women president of the United States, to leave a legacy, she says, to motivate young girls and women to reach for the stars.

William Shakespeare wrote, "No legacy is so rich as honesty."

No doubt Hillary will leave a legacy---and so will the press.

And we will "move on."

Will the lie be repeated enough to "become truth" or will the lie live on and become "a part of her future?"

Come November, the American people who vote, will decide just what that legacy will be.

God help us.

  1. As long as they are on the side of Islam, they have to blame us, telling us it's all our fault, and apparently, something we deserved. I saw the movie. In the movie, it was much more than a riot.

  2. I saw the movie, too. And for the first time, I believe Hollywood over this administration.
