Is Robert Mueller Seeking Star of Truth...or Something Else?

The Magi from Persia followed the star in search of Truth. And they found Him.

Special Investigator Robert Mueller, who was charged with searching for "collusion" between Trump and Russia---having found none, seems to be looking for other stars to follow.

Many, and not only conservatives, are now asking if his journey for truth is a search and rescue, or search and destroy mission after it was learned this weekend that he illegally acquired "tens of thousands of emails from the Trump transition team."

The press is sweating its way through Mueller's investigation---not fearing what he may find, rather what he won't find.

They want Trump served up on the silver platter---politically speaking.

And it isn't happening as planned.

Reluctantly, the mainstream press was forced this weekend, to at least admit there are some "irregularities" in Mueller's search.

Reuters is reporting that Kory Langhofer, counsel to the Trump transition team, known as Trump for America (TFA), wrote a letter to congressional committees to say Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team had improperly received tens of thousands of emails from the General Services Administration (GSA), a government agency.

Apparently career staff members at the agency "unlawfully produced TFA's private materials, including privileged communications, to the Special Counsel's office." And they accepted them.

Reuters, not a conservative news organization, say they have seen the letter and it says "tens of thousands of emails" were heisted by Mueller's colleagues.

Thus they were forced to admit the investigation has done some "unwise" and perhaps illegal things in their quest.

Reuters and most other news services are giving a couple of paragraphs, at most, to the apparent illegalities, and pages to criticizing the Trump team.

So, beware the "news."

This latest episode is one in a growing thread of concern on the part of all who truly want to know the truth.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said yesterday on CNN that Mueller's investigation "should be over quickly."

More conservative news organizations and commentators are expressing growing concern because it is becoming more and more apparent that Robert Mueller is not following the assigned star in his search.

Last month we learned through documents, former FBI Director, who Trump has fired, James Comey started drafting an exoneration statement for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton long before the FBI agents were finished with their criminal investigation into her mishandling of classified information.

We have also learned that Comey, with the help of Peter Strzok---I'll come back to him in a moment---decided to change the language in the report from "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless," watering down her actions from actionable legal violations to "careless" actions.

Laura Ingraham on her new show---"The Ingraham Angle" on Fox News, addressed some of these issues Thursday night even before the Mueller "theft" of Trump's emails became public.

She said Mueller is "irreparably tainted" and his investigation is revealing "how big government can end up becoming a threat to a representative democracy."

She specifically pointed to text messages written by FBI Agent Robert Strzok last August that read: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office---that there's no way [Trump] gets elected---but I'm afraid we can't take that risk. It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40."

Strzok was clearly referring to a meeting with FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's office.

Mueller appointed this man to "investigate Trump."

Worse yet, earlier that same month of August 2016, Lisa Page, (a key player in Mueller's Russian probe) texted to Strzok; "Maybe you're meant to stay where you are because you're meant to protect the country from that menace [Trump]."

Strzok replied: "I can protect our country at many levels."

That was last August. Strzok would go on to play a key role in aiding and abetting former FBI Director James Comey's exoneration of Hillary Clinton---knowing what we all now know---Hillary had spent millions to put together the phony Russian dossier that was almost certainly used by the FBI and the Obama Administration to obtain the warrants necessary to spy on their political opponents in the Trump campaign.

Strzok, a supporter, and contributor to Hillary, then became a top investigator of Trump in Mueller's investigation.

And it's well known that Comey and Mueller are close personal friends.

Strzok is the lawyer that watered down Comey's language, with his approval, that exonerated Hillary for her prosecutable email crimes.

And---Bruce Ohr, a top Justice Department official, is married to Nellie Ohr, who worked for Fusion GPS---the company who put together the now discredited Russian dossier intended to bring down Trump.

After a scheduling conflict last week, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe will testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee tomorrow---December 19.

I am certain the conservatives on the committee will ask about some of these issues. Including the text messages Strzok sent to FBI attorney Lisa Page, in which he referenced the meeting I mentioned above.

I am also certain the media will not honestly cover tomorrow's hearings on this deception, however, there are conservative voices that will.

Ingraham said, "The Founders never envisioned that a separate office inside the executive branch could hire a bunch of agenda-driven investigators, in search of a crime, by the head of the executive branch [Trump]."

Mueller parted ways with the "wise men" in their search for Truth, a long way back.

Ingraham believes "this investigation 'will and should' collapse over these 'endless revelations of bias'."

I pray she is right.
