Friday, President Trump took another positive step toward de-funding Planned Parenthood---continuing to keep his promises to the pro-life community.
The Trump administration HHS released a new rule that could cut about $60 million taxpayer income from Planned Parenthood and others in the abortion industry.
And: the US Senate votes today on an infanticide bill.

Today, the US Senate is voting on the "Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act." This bill supplements the "Born-Alive Infants Protection Act" by specifically requiring abortionists to get babies who are born alive to a hospital.

The action the Trump administration has taken.
Friday, the President and his administration released a new rule that could block up to $60 million in "family planning" funding to Planned Parenthood and other groups in the abortion complex.
The new regulation, which governs Title X, the federal grant program that provides funding for family planning services, prohibits the use of funds to "perform, promote, refer for, or support abortion as a method of family planning."
The rule reinstates President Ronald Reagan's "Protect Life Rule" which bars "co-location" of federally funded family planning clinics with abortion shops.
Clearly, President Trump does not believe that abortion is "family planning." Neither do millions of other pro-life citizens.
What pro-life leaders are saying about what the administration did.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life America, said:
"This is the kind of policy change that millennials, the nation's largest voting bloc, support." She said "Healthcare dollars should fund real, full-service medical care, not abortion vendors."
Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council, said, "President Trump's HHS is taking a major step toward the ultimate goal of ending taxpayer's forced funding partnership with the abortion industry."
He said the finalized "protect life rule" draws a "bright line between abortion and family planning programs--- just as the federal law requires and the Supreme Court has upheld."
Perkins added:
"It's a shame that the federal Title X family planning program has been co-mingled with abortion ever since President Bill Clinton issued regulations not only removing the wall of separation President Reagan issued, but even illegally requiring groups to for abortion. The result is that Planned Parenthood---an organization that's been under criminal investigation for selling baby body parts---gets roughly $60 million per year through what has become a slush fund for the abortion giant."
Very true.
Republican Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey, who has served as co-chair of the House pro-life caucus, is celebrating Trump's new rule.
He said, "The Title X Program can now finally return to its originally intended purpose---the provision of family planning services, not abortions."
Smith told Breitbart News, "Title X funding was never intended to facilitate Planned Parenthood's hideous dismemberment, chemical poisoning, or deliberate starvation and forced expulsion of a defenseless unborn baby."
"There is nothing benign or compassionate about killing a defenseless child," Smith said, "I am grateful that the Trump administration has affirmed human life and dignity with this pro-child rule."
This announcement follows a strong statement by the President in which he committed to veto any legislation that weakens federal policy on abortion.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List, a strongly pro-life group, said: "We thank President Trump for taking decisive action to disentangle taxpayers from the big abortion industry led by Planned Parenthood."
She said, "The Title X program was never intended to be a slush fund for abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood who violently end the lives of more than 332,000 unborn babies a year and receives almost $60 million a year in Title X taxpayer dollars."
The consensus in the pro-life community is "Thank you, President Trump. And God bless you."
However, the abortion giant will still take in about $500 million in tax dollars next year.

In its most recent reporting, PP took in about $563 million tax dollars.
The former GOP majority's failure to defund Planned Parenthood during the President's first two years remains a source of frustration among pro-lifers, particularly now that that the Democrat-controlled House can block defunding legislation.
The Review says,
"For the next 2 years, the most effective pro-life agenda must be the focus on hopefully confirming pro-life judges and justices, and introducing legislation that cannot pass but can put pro-abortion politicians on the record, and whatever administrative actions the executive branch can take to regulate and investigate the abortion industry."
Why did a Republican-controlled House, Senate and Presidency not de-fund Planned Parenthood?
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused House pro-lifers' calls to reconsider Senate fillabuster rules to pass pro-life legislation, but he refused.
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan downplayed defunding Planned Parenthood during budget negations.
Both claim to be pro-life. Neither acted pro-life when the opportunity was at hand.
Republican leadership claims pro-life beliefs, but both Ryan and McConnell have said the polls don't support laying careers and future votes on the line.
In fact the GOP leadership in Congress didn't even include defunding Planned Parenthood in their draft budget proposals.
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) introduced an amendment to add language near the end of the process but initially was blocked by his own party's leadership, who said the reason was their fear that Democrats would offer a side-by-side amendment that could pass with the support of pro-abortion Republicans Collins and Murkowski. When they finally relented and permitted a vote, the measure failed to get a majority.
Defenders of McConnell and Ryan then said "see" --- "I told you so."
True pro-lifers in Congress, however, pointed out that finally allowing a vote on Rand's bill was just another example of a "show vote" so they could go back home and tell the folks they did everything they could---vote for me one more time so I can keep fighting the Democrats.
Real people, who hold real beliefs, are getting sick and tired of this charade.
Doreen Denny with Concerned Women for America says she believes they are not doing a good job making the case.
She is asking: "When was the last time they held a hearing on abortion? Where is the concerted effort to message on this and the things that have happened with Planned Parenthood that are so disconcerting?"
Many are asking the same questions. Thank you, Doreen, for letting us know we're not the only ones asking.
Politically, pro-life voters have got to demand that politicians who claim to be pro-life better act like it after we elect them. Conservatives are becoming more informed. This is not a time for so-called "show votes."
It's a time for our elected leaders to be passionate about what their constituents are passionate about---and it's time to rediscover the virtue of courage and do the right thing.
In the case of Planned Parenthood and the other abortion industry operatives, it's time to pull the public plug on all taxpayer money going to them---because it's all about abortion, not so-called family planning.
