Sanders, Buttigieg; "Soylent Green" Remake?

Both Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg are attaching urgency to the practice of population control as if it is something new, responsible and a progressive method of sustainability for the human race.

However, it's an old practice that is heathen, barbaric, regressive and an affront to Almighty God.

These guys and their fellow progressives appear to be filming a remake of the 1970's movie "Soylent Green."

They are living in the spirit of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood.

Be informed.

The film "Soylent Green."

It was released in 1973. It stars Charlton Heston, Edward G. Robinson, and Leigh Taylor-Young.

The setting of the film is in a densely overpopulated, starving New York City in 2022---That was 49 years in the future at the time of the film.

In the film, the culture is obsessed with survival due to overpopulation and poverty. These issues are being addressed with euthanasia and cannibalism.

In the political and cultural turmoil, the government came up with a "delicious" wafer that they began to feed the public, assuring the wafer would create sustainability. As the storyline develops, the viewer learns that the wafer--"Soylent Green"--- is made of people, older people, unwanted and unproductive people who had been told they were going to Nirvana. They were then processed and made into the little green wafers for public consumption. The public couldn't get enough of the wafer because they believed it was the key to sustainability.

I knew Charlton Heston and spent a little time with him in his later years. I asked him once, which of his films had the most impact on him personally.

He told me the "Ten Commandments". Without question.

However, he said the film that haunted him the most was "Soylent Green." He said humanity is capable of such things.

A little more than 2 years out from "2022," let's take a look at what Bernie and Pete, both presidential candidates, are saying.

Bernie Sanders the secular atheist.

During the last campaign when Bernie was running against Hillary, he was asked about his faith. At the time, he said he guessed he was an atheist. I would guess he still is.

During the CNN climate change extravaganza, Bernie repeatedly suggested that abortion is linked to climate control.

The Soylent Green film is not a frequent topic of discussion in 2019, but living only a little more than 2 years from the setting in the fictional movie, it has a relevant ring.

Dr. Alveda King, director of the Priests for Life 's Civil Rights for the Unborn project and the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., said during CNN's "climate change" marathon, Bernie Sanders' spoke of the government imposing population growth controls as though it would be normal. "Government control of procreation."

She too remembered the film.

King says,
"It reminds you of what Margaret Sanger said, 'Colored people are like weeds that need to be exterminated. We don't want that word to get out, so let's get some of their ministers on our side, and they can keep the rebellious ones---in other words, the ones who can think---in line'. So , this is not new. It's been happening for decades and decades, but right now it's really in our faces. so, what are we going to do about it?"

She notes that sterilization measures would be included in population control legislation.

She says the "Killing Centers are on or near streets named after Martin Luther King, Jr"---"They're in the African -American communities telling them 'Oh, we're helping the underserved.

She quotes Frank Pavone of Priests for Life: "You've got to know the difference between serving the public and killing the public."

King says, "Babies, sick, and old people, in that order." Don't treat them, just let them die comfortably.

The "Green Wafer" of today is that the old have a right to end their own life with dignity. Euthanize them. It's their choice. Put them on the low end of health care. Make them comfortable. Help them understand they are loved, even if they are using up much-needed resources and are a financial strain on their family.

Last week, when Bernie was asked by CNN if abortion would play a major part in his administration in addressing climate change, he said, "Yes."

When asked if he would be courageous enough to discuss the issue and make it a key factor in his campaign, he said: "The answer is yes."

He said he strongly supports promoting abortion, especially in poor countries as a means of population control which relates to so-called climate change.

Pete Buttigieg the "theologian."

On "The Breakfast Club" radio show last Friday, Buttigieg repeated himself by saying for the hundredth time, "The Republican Party doesn't have a monopoly on Christianity."

The Washington Examiner published this about his radio appearance:

The Bible also says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb," but that's neither here nor there for Buttigieg, who continued: “I think no matter where you think about the cosmic question of how life begins, most Americans can get on board with the idea of, ‘I might draw the line here, you might draw the line there,’ but the most important thing is the person who should be drawing the line is the woman making the decision.”
So, no matter what you believe about the incredibly morally significant question of when life begins, you should leave it up to the mother. At least Buttigieg isn't out of place in his party. He echoed the rhetoric of failed 2020 candidate Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who argued, "If you are a person of the Christian faith, one of the tenets of our faith is free will.” This means, apparently, that a woman should have the free will to terminate her pregnancy.

Paul the Apostle: "Professing to be wise, they became fools."

At a recent conference---Gastro Summit--- in Stockholm, Sweden about "climate change," a Swedish scientist, Magnus Soderlund, gave a presentation in which he explained that "it may be necessary for humans to turn to cannibalism and start eating human flesh in the future, as a way of combating the effects of climate change."

He told the conference that the taboos against it are conservative---we must move on, be progressive--- and those who do not accept these new realities are standing in the way of combating climate change.
