Netflix Features Gay Jesus In Christmas Special

When you think you've heard and seen it all from the homosexual activists, you discover you haven't.

Netflix, that provides movies and TV to 130 million households every day worldwide, has cast Jesus as gay, and the Virgin Mary as a pot smoker in their so-called "Christmas Special" titled, "The First Temptation of Christ."

A Catholic bishop has had enough and is taking them on.

You should be aware. And informed.

Note: Since our article on Hallmark was published at 5 AM PT yesterday, Hallmark has reversed its previous promise to remain a safe place to watch content that supports traditional values, and after pulling the ads featuring lesbians kissing, have now put the ads back on the air, apologizing to those whom they hurt by pulling the ads in the first place.

Regarding Netflix and Jesus.

Bishop Joseph Strickland from Texas tweeted Sunday, "Respect is the last thing they are thinking about, every Christian should denounce this film, it is blasphemy against the Son of God who suffered & died even for all who deny He is Lord of the Universe. His prayer for them...Father forgive them they know not what they do."

The bishop later tweeted, "Just canceled Netflix. Hardly have time to watch it anyway but blasphemers don't deserve a penny of support."

Graham Allen, the host of the popular "Dear America Podcast," is also condemning the film in its release in Brazil---where the Brazilian Catholic bishops conference released its own statement condemning the show, saying that "in the name of freedom of expression and artistic creativity, it profoundly assault[s] the Christian faith."

Bishop Strickland and the Brazilian bishops have released a letter following up with their strong objections to the film.

They say in the letter,
"Ridiculing the belief of a group, whatever it may be, in addition to constituting an offense under criminal law, means disrespecting all people, damaging the quest for an effectively democratic society that values all its citizens."

While recognizing that we live in a pluralistic society and that not everyone has the same beliefs, the bishops called for respect for people's beliefs.

They said, "Nothing allows anyone the right to vilify people's deeply held beliefs."

They have now launched a petition---over a million had already signed it yesterday.

I completely support these Catholic leaders in what they are doing and personally am standing with them.

However, it is apparent in an abundance of ways that the homosexual movement is not at all interested in other people's rights, tolerance, equity, fairness or respect toward anyone other than themselves. They are invading every institution in America, attacking every traditional principle regarding marriage and human sexuality and do not hesitate to blaspheme God's Word and God Himself.

The blasphemy is not limited to Netflix.

Homosexual arrogance has blasphemed God and even hijacked His rainbow.

The Bible makes it clear that the rainbow belongs to God and it's intimately associated with His divine presence and authority.

Consider this:

  • Genesis chapters 6-9, especially 9:8-17, God establishes the rainbow as a symbol of reassurance that He will never again destroy the earth by flood.
  • Ezekiel 1:28 confirms the rainbow represents the presence of God.
  • Revelation 4:2-3 confirms the rainbow is a symbol of His authority.
  • Revelation 10:1 associates the rainbow with God's future judgment of the world as described in Revelation 19:11-21 and 2 Peter 3:10-13.

The best experts on ancient Hebrew, including the rabbis who wrote the Talmud, in the second century, agree that the cause of Noah's flood (Genesis Rabbah 26:5:4) was homosexual marriage. God's long-suffering mercy toward fallen man had reached its limit with the normalization of homosexuality in humans society. God told Moses that homosexuality was one of the prime causes of the "vomiting out" of the Canaanites from the Holy Land, and would cause Him to expel the Hebrews themselves from the land if they, too, embraced it. Note: Leviticus 18, especially 22-30. Second Kings 21:2-16 suggests they did not obey God and fell into the very behavior God had warned them to avoid.

The assault on human sexuality, marriage, family, and every other part of our society by homosexual activists is concerning. It is no small thing.

The level of assault on God's plan for the human race, and God Himself has risen to a level that seems to equate to biblical truth.

Jesus said this:

Luke 17:26-30
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Be Informed. Be Faithful. Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful. Look up.
