Whipping the "Stranger" at the Border

When photos appeared showing a US Border Patrol on horseback appearing to whip Haitians trying to enter the United States illegally, the president, the vice-president, Rep. Maxine Waters, and others burst into a righteous outcry, with President Biden calling it "beyond embarrassment, dangerous and wrong---promising 'no more horseback patrol' on the border. And the Border Patrol officials who did this 'will pay'."

VP Harris and Rep. Maxine Waters echoed his righteous call for justice for the "strangers" who were whipped at the border.

However, the "righteous indignation" was actually misguided self-righteousness.

Once again, the Biden administration was dead wrong. And so were his social justice warriors of the left.

And what does the Bible actually say about "the stranger?"

Be informed, not misled.

When President Biden saw the pictures, he knew he was looking injustice and cruelty in the face.

On Friday the president told the world, "To see people treated like they did, horses running them over and people getting strapped, it's outrageous. I promise you those people will pay."

"Those people" are our officials who are charged with keeping our border safe.

Vice President Harris joined the outcry, telling the ladies on ABC's "The View":

"I was outraged by it. It was horrible and deeply troubling. There's been now an investigation that is being conducted which I fully support, and there needs to be consequences and accountability."

Rep. Watters and others echoed the outrage, calling it "racially motivated" because the Haitians are black, as opposed to those from Central America who are brown.

Sick.

President Biden just couldn't let go of the moment because of his outrage, later telling the press, "It sends the wrong message around the world, it sends the wrong message at home. It's simply not who we are."

In a sense, the president was more right than he realized. He and his cohorts were sending the wrong message. And his and their stories of outrage are not "who we are."

Photographer: "I've never seen them whip anyone."

With Biden's and the left's outrage being sent around the world, the guy who took the pictures felt he should clarify a few things. Like, "The president is dead wrong."

In an exclusive interview with KTSM NBC 9 TV, photographer Paul Ratje, who took the pictures, said neither he nor other photographers "saw agents whipping anyone."

He said, "Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses. I've never seen them whip anyone. He was swinging it [the reins] but it can be misconstrued when you're looking at the picture."

Ratje said the "photos have really been misconstrued."

Even CNN's Jake Tapper said yesterday, "Some of the initial descriptions of those images were patently false" and were based on "Twitter outrage."

Actually, the Horse Patrol Units of the US Border Patrol have a long history of carrying out migrant rescues in remote and hazardous terrains all along the southwest border. The men and women of the horseback division of the Border Patrol regularly apprehend migrants who are involved in drug smuggling into the United States.

Confusion and its consequences.

Rather than the Horse Patrol "whipping" migrants, it is the consequences of a confused, biased, and misinformed Biden administration that is "whipping people" around the world.

I suspect the US citizens and allies who helped our government who were left behind in Afghanistan are feeling a little "whipped" as well. But of course, that's old news. Progressives always "turn the page," move on, make progress, as they distance themselves from the mess they and their misguided policies create.

Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, said yesterday that a significant number of Haitian illegal immigrants who had amassed along the US-Mexico border last week have been released into the United States.

Yesterday Mayorkas told "Fox News Sunday" that "Approximately, I think it's about ten thousand or so, twelve thousand," when asked about the number of Haitian illegal aliens who have been released into the United States.

He says the 15,000 or more who congregated under the bridge in Del Rio, Texas, and essentially created a third-world shantytown has been cleared out.

Yesterday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he will hire any of the Border Patrol agents who have been falsely accused of whipping Haitian migrants at the southern border if they are terminated by the Biden administration.

"If he takes any action," Abbott said, ---"I have worked side by side with those Border Patrol agents---I want them to know something. If they are at risk of losing their job by a president who is abandoning his duty to secure the border, you have a job in the state of Texas."

About the "Stranger." And borders.

The Left's favorite Scripture to support Biden's political policies on illegal aliens is Leviticus 19:33-34, however, they misapply it for political gain.

The Left has built an entire open borders movement using the misuse of Scripture.

I will be explaining on our live radio program today, how Scripture is twisted to support the open borders movement, which is a coming together of progressive ideology that wants to remake our country and globalists who hate borders and national sovereignty.

Neither is supported by Scripture.

The Bible does not teach the core tenets of  President Biden's  current immigration policies
