President Biden Selling Oil to Communist Chinese Company With Ties To Hunter

While ordinary people are still trying to figure out why President Biden is shipping oil out of our country when our gasoline prices are sky-high, we learn that he is actually shipping nearly a million barrels from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a Chinese firm---that is owned by the country's Communist Chinese Party---a company in which Hunter Biden's equity company held a $1.7 billion stake.

Is anyone concerned about this?

Yes. There is a growing concern.

Be informed, not misled.

Intentional? Or ignorance?

The New American explains,

"The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) was created during the administration of Richard Nixon for use in times of national emergency. At the time, the United States was heavily dependent upon foreign oil, and it was argued that the SPR could help if those foreign sources were cut off in times of war or other national emergencies. Congress authorized the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to help prevent a repetition of the economic dislocation caused by the 1973-1974 Arab oil embargo. Biden, however, has decided to release some of the oil just to bring down the price of gasoline at the pump, as those high prices are hurting him politically. (Of course, this release has little impact on pump prices, but Biden is no doubt hoping that consumers will think he is doing something to help them.)"

Biden is releasing about a million barrels of oil per day.

China is not the only destination for American oil, but it should be the most concerning.

Our reserves are now the lowest they have been since 1986.

Before Biden took office, the United States had become independent of foreign sources of oil, and the price of gas at the pump was about $2 per gallon. Now it is around $5 per gallon. Much more in some areas---over $6.

The so-called "news media" are avoiding this matter like it's the Wuhan virus---particularly the part about Hunter's connection.

The bottom line is Hunter Biden’s equity company held a $1.7 billion stake in the company receiving the  US oil. The 950,000 barrels sold to Unipec, the trading arm of Sinopec, make up part of the five million barrels of oil exported after President Joe Biden released oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

According to the New American, "In addition to exports to Communist China, almost half a million barrels of U.S. oil have been sent by Phillips 66 to Trieste, Italy. From Trieste, a pipeline sends the oil to refineries in Europe. So, while Biden shuts down pipelines that could bring more oil to the United States and reduce prices here, American oil is being sent to pipelines in Europe to lower prices there. Europe is desperate for oil to make up for the loss of oil from Russia due to the war with Ukraine."

It's hard to believe that the president is actually making these kinds of deals, but he is.

NA suggests "the solution is to return to the commonsense policies of the previous administration--- policies that had made the US energy independent."

Speaking of the previous administration.

Former President Trump, as you might imagine, called Biden's dealings "Terrible." "Incredible."

Breitbart News reported this:

The revelation that Biden sold oil from the official United States reserves to foreign countries, “one of which is China,” as Trump noted in the interview, rocked the news last week, leading several Republicans to demand an investigation into what happened. Trump had rebuilt the supply in the United States reserves for the first time in decades, and then Biden, during a shortage of oil where the price is at or near record highs, turned around and sold it to foreign countries, something Trump called “incredible.”

“I think the whole thing is incredible,” Trump told Breitbart News. “I built up the reserves—75 million barrels of oil. We filled it up. It’s the first time in decades that that was loaded up to the top. We did it when oil was very cheap. I said this would be the time. I said ‘tell me about the reserves,’ and they told me and in about two seconds we made a big order for very little money. Now it’s being given away to China and other countries. I think it’s terrible.”

Asked if it is a scandal worthy of investigation, Trump said he considered it “certainly strange” that Biden would give American oil from the nation’s reserves to China.

“I don’t know. It’s certainly strange to be giving to, of all countries, China,” Trump said.

While as of yet it is unclear if Biden or his family members, such as his son Hunter Biden, personally profited from this sale, Trump said that if that happened it would be “inconceivable,” but that the mere fact that Biden even sold U.S. oil to a Chinese company to begin with is bad enough. Trump also said Biden policies are likely to cause the price of gas to continue to increase beyond the record highs hit this summer, predicting “much higher” gas prices soon.

Takeaway.

According to a January Gallup poll, roughly three in four Americans are not satisfied with the federal government's national energy policy, the highest level in roughly two decades.

The dissatisfaction is much worse now.

Power the Future founder Daniel Turner admonished Biden for selling "raw materials to the Communist Chinese for them to use as they want."

"We were assured Biden was releasing this oil to America so it could be refined for gasoline to drive down prices at the pump. So right off the bat, they're just lying to the American people," Turner told the Washington Free Beacon. "What they're saying they did and what they did are not remotely related."

Is the Biden administration that inept?

Perhaps not. It's just a different vision for America.

In mid-June, the national average for a gallon of gas surpassed $5 for the first time ever. Still, the White House has assured Americans that they need to pay high gas prices to support the "liberal world order."

And to support climate change that currently is driving the "New World Order."

"What do you say to those families that say, ‘Listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?'" CNN anchor Victor Blackwell asked Biden economic adviser Brian Deese in late June

His answer: "This is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to stand firm," Deese responded.

That's as close to the truth as these people are capable of getting.
