I have 3 important things I want to pass along today.
1. World Net Daily has published a national article about R-71, quoting Elizabeth Scott, comments we made yesterday in this blog, Larry Stickney, Steve Pidgeon and James Bopp, Jr. World Net Daily has significant national reach with its publication. Their article about R-71 is linked here.
2. The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has published a report that is alarming and informative, particularly as it relates to males as young as 13 and the HIV infection. This is a heads up for everyone, particularly parents. They have released a new multi-year study showing that practicing homosexual men account for 61% of the new HIV infections in the US, while they represent only about 2% of the population.
I was concerned when I read the study. The media rarely reports on these matters, likely because of their commitment to the homosexual agenda. Unfortunately, the media's silence gives Americans the false sense that HIV-AIDS is somehow not a problem any more.
I was particularly concerned that 27% of the new HIV cases were among men as young as 13 years old.
I also felt that parents, in particular, should know that nearly 20% of all homosexual men have HIV and half of them are not aware they have it. This information will not be included in your child's public school curriculum. I have linked the CDC report here.
3. Penny Lancaster and a group of concerned citizens have created a website for people in Eastern Washington (Spokane area). It gives a profile on the candidates currently running for office in that part of Washington State. It will be very helpful for our readers in that area. I have linked it here.
The ancient prophet Isaiah, in describing the battle of his time, said too many religious leaders had become irrelevant. He said they had become "swallowed up" by excessive drinking of wine, causing them to "err in vision and stumble in judgement"---that their tables were full of vomit and filth," yet he spoke "strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate." (Isaiah 28:5-15)
May God give us all strength in our battle, to resist being "swallowed up" by the intoxicating cultural power of tolerance, relativism, so-called equality and political correctness.
The battle at today's gate is one directed at Judeo-Christian values and principles, those truths that built an exceptional nation.
May God give us all "strength to turn back the battle at the gate."
Thank you for your support in this battle.
Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Prayerful. Be Active. Be Blessed.
