"The Satanic Children's Big Book of Activities" will be passed out in public school classrooms according to an announcement from The Satanic Temple based in New York.
Last week The Satanic Temple said they are merely responding to the school district allowing Christian literature on campus.
In January 2013 Freedom From Religion Foundation made a similar attempt to distribute their materials to classrooms for the same reason.
Their plan was to distribute a booklet titled, "An X-Rated Book: Sex & Obscenity in the Bible."
The school district ended up banning the book from the schools.
Now the Satanists are making their attempt to steal the children, also claiming they have equal rights.
The Satanic Temple is the same group that conducted a Satanic Mass last night in Oklahoma City in which they desecrated the Bible, mocked God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and all things sacred to people of the Christian faith.
The Satanist Temple says their objective in passing out their material to kids is to familiarize them with "the tenants of their church, the philosophy and practice of Satanism and provide information about the legal right to practice Satanism in public school.
On September 14, the Satanist group announced on their web site, "In cooperation with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, and in accordance with school board policy that allows religious material dissemination, The Satanic Temple announces they will distribute Satanic literature in Florida Public School District."
CNS News asked Satanic Temple spokesperson Lucien Greaves if this isn't hypocritical in that the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation and themselves take a strong stance "against" distribution of "religious" materials in public school.
They justified their right to do so on the same basis that Freedom From Religion Foundation had claimed back in January 2013.
FFRF is now walking back their cooperation with The Satanic Temple, admitting they have had discussions about this, but trying to put distance between themselves and the Satanic group. They characterize their relationship differently than The Satanic Temple describes it.
The Satanists say they are moving forward and will begin distributing the "Satanic Children's Big Book of Activities."
The book, directed at younger children, is a coloring book that focuses on Satanic themes and human tolerance.
In the book, Damian is showing his class the way to make an inverted pentagram. "Connect the dots to make one yourself," one activity reads.
The book also directs kids to the Satanic Temple web site.
Will they be stopped before these materials enter the classrooms?
An attorney from the Freedom From Religion Foundation says because there have been Christian materials permitted, Satanic materials must also be permitted.
He told the Orlando Sentinel, "They have no ability to keep out the Satanists and their literature they want to distribute unless they close the forum altogether."
Whether this is merely a ploy to eliminate all Christian influence or whether the atheists and the Satanists believe they have a legitimate opportunity to indoctrinate these kids with their literature, I'm not sure.
Probably both.
One thing is sure, both organizations are powered by the same spirit.
Both end up on the same page---to eliminate God.
The atheist claims He doesn't exist, while the Satanist tells people they can be "as God," while denigrating and blaspheming Him.
Last night The Satanic Temple held a Satanic Black Mass in the Oklahoma City Convention Center. As I publish this, reports are just now beginning to come out of the city about last night's event. You will see more reported throughout the day.
The "Mass" was based on a ritual from the late founder of the Church of Satan Antoine LeVay. LeVay was also the author of "The Satanic Bible," a book about which I have had more than one discussion with college age kids.
Adam Daniels who led the so-called "Mass" says he doesn't mind the controversy surrounding the event. He said, "We're glad to have this opportunity to expose these people's self righteous behavior."
The ritual included denouncing Jesus Christ, God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Daniels says he hopes to "deprogram" people from the influences of Christianity.
Much more blasphemy was included in the ritual, but we need not know more. This stands in hollow opposition to what we know is Truth.
It cuts the heart of those who know Jesus Christ personally. It causes us to wonder what this world is coming to.
I'm reminded of a time when God will remove whatever can be shaken, so that what remains will be the things that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:27).
A prophet once said, "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you" (Isaiah 54:10).
I'm talking more about what cannot be shaken in this life, on our live radio program this morning. Join me.
