John Kerry to Grads: "Prepare for Borderless World"
Sec. of State John Kerry in his commencement speech at Northeastern University Friday, dismissed the importance of borders---and strongly suggested that America's heritage is meaningless.
He referred to our country's heritage as "nostalgia for some rose-tinted version of the past that did not really exist..."
His point? All those who look inward at the needs in our own country are those who simply, according to the globalist progressives, "climb under the sheets, close their eyes and push the world away."
His real message is worth a closer look.
Kerry told the graduates that we have learned a lot since 9-11, and what we've learned "tells us that we will never come out on top if we accept advice from sound-bite salesmen and carnival barkers who pretend the most powerful country on Earth can remain great looking inward. And hiding behind walls at a time when technology has made it impossible to do and unwise to even attempt."
On the surface (1) he doesn't care for Donald Trump and (2) he thinks we are in the "post borders" era.
But that's not the real message. It's deeper and wider than that.
He said of the 9-11 terrorists, "There are no walls big enough to stop people from anywhere, tens of thousands of miles away, who are determined to take their own lives while they target others."
But shouldn't a nation have borders?
Apparently not in the world of Mr. Kerry.
He said, "Trump and others who want to look inward are making a mistake, even in the face of rising tension and violence in the world."
If taking steps to strengthen homeland security in traditional ways is a mistake---what does far Left progressive John Kerry suggest?
For one thing, I guess he's saying elect Hillary Clinton to be the next President of the United States.
And apparently he is also saying America's heritage means nothing---in fact, most of what we think we know about our heritage isn't true anyway.
He said, "The future demands from us something more than a nostalgia for some rose-tinted version of the past that did not really exist in any case. You're about to graduate into a complex and borderless world," he told graduates.
Kerry's message wasn't really about Trump or any of the others---Ben Carson, Ted Cruz...you know the list---the message is a call to globalism.
In the mind of Kerry and his brothers and sisters of the Progressive far Left, we have outgrown the need for borders and national identity.
We must now work together, hand in hand, to create Hillary's "village"--- the world community that will supposedly lead us into a New Age---a 21st Century Promised Land..
The United Nations is promising that if we all work together we can turn our planet into some kind of "utopia."
Thanks to a series of interlocking treaties and international agreements, the governance of this planet is in fact becoming increasingly globalized and centralized.
Last Fall, the UN launched a "New Universal Agenda" (their words) for humanity.
Kerry's commencement speech this weekend was a banner for the UN global agenda.
Virtually every nation on the planet willingly signed up for the 17 goals that are included in this new plan.
But the talk about "unity" masks a very insidious agenda. One that even the Bible predicts.
Paul McGuire, in his book, "The Babylon Code," says, "The UN is not asking permission, but issuing a command that the entire planet will commit to 17 sustainable development goals and 169 sustainable development targets designed to radically transform our world by 2030. The UN 2030 plan will advance Agenda 21 on steroids. Through a controlled media, the mass populations will be told that this is all about saving the environment and “ending poverty.” But that is not the true agenda of Agenda 21. The true agenda of Agenda 21 is to establish a global government, global economic system, and global religion. When UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon spoke of “a dream of a world of peace and dignity for all,” this is no different than when the Communists promised the people a “workers paradise.”
Last September, some of the biggest names in music, including Beyonce, whom President Obama said in his commencement speech last week, "is running the world," promoted the global agenda of the UN at the Global Citizen Festival in New York's Central Park.
The ultimate goal is for the entire world to become a "single market" with uniform laws, rules and regulations.
As this agenda proceeds, and our US economy is merged with the world economy through treaties like the "Trans-Pacific Partnership" which has been a frequent topic during the primary elections, it creates a giant step toward a unified global economy, but significantly undermines our own US economy with jobs and manufacturing going elsewhere.
Unfortunately it was Republican leadership who helped, significantly helped, President Obama by pushing hard for Obama's "fast track negotiating authority" on the TPP issue.
Hopefully this brings some clarity as to why our trade agreements with foreign nations is a big deal in this presidential election, and should be a big deal in our national conversation.
Not only is there a push for a new global economy, but the door is open and the narrative has begun as to how we can come together in one-world religion.
In regard to religion, there is a reoccurring theme---a push for a one-world religious order, and biblical Christianity is most often seen as the greatest impediment to progress.
It was Hillary Clinton who told the Women of the World conference last fall, and I wrote about it in this daily column, that "religious beliefs have to be changed."
Every time a leader---President Obama a leading example, suggests that all religions are the same---in Obama's case even suggesting that Christianity, Islam and other various religions all lead to God, just by different paths---they are first standing in absolute rebellion to the words of Jesus Christ Himself who said He is the "only" way to God. (John 14:6) and secondly working to advance a one-world religion under the guise of "unity," "peace," "progress," and "inclusiveness."
Unfortunately the Pope, in his comments at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan a few months ago, chose to use words that advanced this agenda. He said, "I unite myself with you all. A prayer to almighty god, all merciful"---a familiar and important statement of faith within the Muslim faith.
He then said, "In greeting, dear friends, belonging to other religious traditions... first of all the Muslims, who worship the one God, living and merciful, and call upon Him in prayer."
Much is being written about this by conservatives and biblical Christian authors. As with most would expect with issues of this magnitude, some are taking their response to what is happening to extreme lengths with suggestions of hoarding and creations of parallel cultures, etc.
What is happening is undeniable, and all reasonable and biblical people should be both informed and vigilant.
We are moving toward a one-world government, a one-world economy and a one-world religion.
This, of course, is clearly foretold in biblical prophecy.
Although this Agenda has been accelerated in the past few years, it will take time and God will decide how much time. But every major crises will be used by the progressives as an excuse to advance this Agenda. Virtually every solution that the elites (of both political parties) offer will involve more globalization and more centralization---and always a move away from national identity and national security.
We will be told that we must move with the times and to the degree we unify as a planet, to that degree we will be working together to eradicate things like poverty, war, disease, and injustice.
Those who disagree or resist, will be singled out as Hillary has done, as a roadblock to progress.
God will allow certain leaders, at certain times as He accomplishes His purposes. Some will not be aware how they are being used by Almighty God. Some may be aware. Some will be used to accelerate the process, some will be used to decelerate it.
God is in control.
This, of course, will set up the world for the ultimate "One-World Tyranny."
What should biblical Christians do?
Don't get caught up in the anger and confusion of purely political understanding. God's ways are higher than ours. However, Christians must not disengage. We are, according to Jesus, "salt and light." We are to occupy until He returns. And that means more than just taking up space.
Secondly, Look up. Our redemption is drawing near.
Be Informed. Be Unafraid. Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful. Be Discerning. Be Involved.
