America Mourns As "Black Lives Matter" Promises More Killing

America mourns.

Black Lives Matter activists promise more killing of cops and whites---the police promise to continue to do their job as best they can---and politicians promise to fix the problem.

Is there a fix?

Reuters News Service, in reporting on the killing of police by Black Lives Matter in Dallas, carried this photo.

In their reporting, they failed to see the significance of their own story.

They are also reporting that "The chairman of the New Black Panther Party, a 'black power movement', said his group will carry arms for self-defense during protests at the Republican convention next week in Cleveland---if Ohio law allows it."

"If it is an open state to carry, we will exercise our Second Amendment rights because there are other groups threatening to be there that are threatening to do harm to us," Hashim Nzinga, chairman of the Black Panther Party, told Reuters.

Nzinga says he expects a couple hundred members of the New Black Panther Party to be on hand for the Republican convention that begins next week.

Officials say it will be legal for protesters to carry weapons at the demonstrations outside the convention under the state's "open carry" laws.

Nzinga says his group condemns the killing of the officers in Dallas last week and that his group had no part of it.

Clearly, there will be other individuals who will also be "carrying" at the GOP convention.

President Obama has already begun to preach a tired, irrelevant sermon on gun control while failing to ever mention the hundreds who are regularly killed with guns in his adopted hometown of Chicago---a town that has some of the strictest gun control of any city in America.

Much is being written about the black-white crises in America today. The general consensus is that there is enough blame to go around---there are also some solutions being offered up.

Heather MacDonald has written a book just published titled, "The War On Cops".

Thomas Sowell, himself a black man, says MacDonald's book could not have been more appropriately named.

Sowell says the war on cops is not only being waged on cops in Dallas, but across the nation.

"No one," he says, "should imagine that any of this is helping black the community."

He says it is the "race hustlers" who are benefiting as they "get publicity, power, money, votes or whatever else serves their own interests."

He concludes, "Mob rule is not democracy. It threatens democracy, as it threatens lives---black and white---and all lives should matter."

Dennis Prager blames the New York Times and the far Left, in his column titled, "The New York Times and the Left Have Blood on Their Hands."

His article chronicles the media---particularly the NYT, but others as well.

He says, "The blacks and whites of the Left have led America to believe that cops are generally racist" and that it is systemic and that whites are privileged and racist."

"Its all a lie," he says..."America has become the least racist, multiracial, multiethnic country in world history."

Prager notes that it was the New York Times that actually published a story last week reporting a new poll just out conducted by a black Harvard professor that shows "when it comes to the most lethal form of force---police shootings---the study finds no racial bias."

He also notes that the author of the study Roland G. Fryer Jr., said, after seeing the results, "It is the most surprising result of my career."

Mr. Prager seems to indicate that exposing the hypocrisy of the far Left progressives---white and black---is part of the solution.

I believe it is.

But the true solution is profoundly different. It is in the heart---not on the streets or in the newsrooms or classrooms---perhaps more in the living and family rooms of our nation.

In publishing the picture above, Reuters, an international news service, gave the world the solution.

Prayer.

"That's a simplistic answer to a complex problem," some will say.

They will be wrong.

Tell me what race sensitivity class, politician's policy, or even brute force, can cause black guys and a white guy wearing a T-shirt with the Confederate Flag on it, to be standing in a huddle with their arms around each other with heads bowed?

Prayer is the answer.

Be Prayerful.
