John Brennan Gushes: "Well Done, Colin"

As former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and NIKE launched their new joint ad campaign over the Labor Day weekend, former CIA director John Brennan, now a commentator on MSNBC, tweeted the words, "Well done, Colin, well done."

He did not, however, include the words "good and faithful servant."

The secular, so-called progressive Left seems obsessed with using disenfranchised---or sincerely misinformed people to serve and advance their causes.

Be informed.

But first: Confirmation hearings began yesterday for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. They were rowdy, to say the least. I'll be talking more about that on our radio program this morning. Join me live at 9 AM from anywhere in the world. Here's how

Labor Day weekend was launch day of a NIKE ad campaign featuring former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has become a household name, not for a stellar football career, but for starting the movement of athletes disrespecting the US Flag during the National Anthem in front of nationally televised sports events---particularly football.

Ben Sellers writes, "Only in America could a muddling quarterback, the product of a privileged upbringing, facing the autumn of his career, manage to convert his inability to secure a contract into a lucrative marketing deal simply by growing his hair out and kneeling when he should be standing."

Sellers writes, "Although the mixed race Kaepernick was himself raised by white adoptive parents in a comfortable, suburban setting, he says he is protesting the oppression of African Americans."

Even non-football fans who had never heard of him before, are now aware of Kaepernick's personal campaign of disrespect toward our US Flag, because of America's "sins of the past.".

His actions have been the catalyst for other players to also sit, turn their backs, even openly mock our country during the presentation of our National Anthem.

The NFL, some of the players, and some of the press try to deny it's about an attitude toward America, but most ordinary people know that's exactly what it's about.

The Seattle Seahawks have been among the most active in disrespecting our Flag during the National Anthem.

The press has enabled his rise to famous "activist" rather than football "fame" by their celebrity coverage of his feelings about our country.

NIKE's clever ad personalizes Kaepernick's disdain for America.

The NIKE ad is clever. Who can disagree with the slogan? "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything." It's a phrase that plays off what is often used in Christian circles in relation to a commitment to the Lord.

The ad is also deceptive.

It suggests that he sacrificed his football career for the right to kneel during the National Anthem.

Kaepernick had not played football since the 2016 season after he lost his starting job for the San Francisco 49ers. Which had nothing to do with his kneeling during the Anthem. That came later.

Former CIA Director John Brennan adds to the deception with his tweet:

John O. Brennan
@JohnBrennan
Colin Kaepernick drew our collective attention to the problem of continued racial injustice in America. He did so not to disrespect our flag but to give meaning to the words of the preamble of our Constitution—“in order to form a more perfect union.” Well done, Colin, well done.

Brennan is parroting the phrase Barack Obama often uses when he wants to describe America in less than favorable terms---as he often did when he was president.

Yes, it is in the preamble to our Constitution, but Kaepernick's actions and those of his disciples betray the notion that this is "not about disrespecting our flag." It is. And it reflects a disdain for America. And it reflects a hint of the very thing it claims to stand against. Racism.

Actions and words outside the football stadiums underscore the fact that this is not really about "forming a more perfect union."

It's about venting hatred. Toward our president, and toward the country that has given these guys so much.

It's also a platform for Brennan and other secular progressives to advance a vision that fundamentally "remakes America" into something "more perfect" in the eyes of the relativistic, secular progressive that rejects the Judeo-Christian values and principles upon which our Founders framed our documents and birthed our nation.

The John Brennan's, Barack Obama's, Hillary Clinton's of this so-called progressive "make our country more perfect" movement, believe as all progressives believe---the end justifies the means.

Every dissenter that has risen to public visibility is called to service by the lords of progressivism.

David Hogg, the high school kid from Parkland, Florida, who experienced a horrific shooting in his school, has become their political champion for gun control.

Kaepernick is their political champion for racism.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has become their poster child for the next political step---socialism.

She is described like this:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (born October 13, 1989) is an American politician, educator, and political activist. On June 26, 2018, Ocasio-Cortez won the Democratic primary in New York's 14th congressional district covering parts of The Bronx and Queens in New York City, defeating the incumbent Congressman, Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley, in what has been described as the biggest upset victory in the 2018 midterm-election season. Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and has been endorsed by various politically progressive organizations and people in the Democratic Party.

Are the leaders of the Left "supporting" these kids? Or are they merely using them as "good and faithful servants?"

You decide. I personally think they are merely being used as pawns.

Consequences. Will this help or hurt NIKE?

Nike stock fell immediately after they announced Kaepernick was the new face of the 30-year-old "Just Do It" campaign.

The stock fell 3% on Tuesday following the reveal.

It appears the "kneeling" issue in the NFL is alive and well again this season, as players are already doing it and the NFL is supporting them while telling the public it's no big deal---they don't really dislike America, etc.

Television networks are pretending it isn't happening by not televising that part or the game, and the NFL is pretending that it's really all about football and the kneeling, turning away from the US Flag, holding hands and all the rest of the nonsense is no big deal.

America isn't buying it. Nor should we. Forget about them. Watch or attend college football games.

But be informed.

On Monday, former Vice President Joe Biden, who always really wanted to be President Biden, marched in a Pittsburgh Labor Day parade. He was asked, of course, if he will be running for president in 2020. He's considering it---to save the country, he's been telling journalists.

Monday he was asked, "What's at stake in the mid-term elections?"

He said, "Everything. It's simple: everything. We're in a fight for the soul of America here."

I agree with little to nothing Mr. Biden believes--- or says.

However. This time he's right. Everything is on the line in this midterm, November election.

Be Prayerful. Be Informed. Be Vigilant. Be Proactive. Be Engaged.
