A new poll by Pew Research discovered that 47% of young Democrats believe that other countries are better than the United States.

And many young Americans wouldn't mind if other countries became as militarily powerful as the United States,

A quick profile of young America in 2020.

Be informed.

A shocking new Pew Poll has discovered that 47% of young Democrats believe that other countries are better than the United States.

Pew also discovered that many young Americans admit that they wouldn't mind other countries becoming as militarily powerful as the United States.

And 36% of Americans, 18-29, say that other countries are better than the United States.

Pew's profile of young America.

Among Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents under the age of 30, nearly half, 47%, say that there are other countries that are better than the US. Meanwhile, just 20% of Democrats age 50 and older agree.

Pew says, "Democrats have become more likely to say there are other countries that are better than the US."

In fact, Pew says "the share of Democrats saying this, is higher than at any point since the question was first asked by Pew in 2011."

While a majority of adults---61%--- say that the United States should maintain its status as a military superpower, more than half---55%---of Democrats under the age of 30 admit that they would find it acceptable if other nations became as militarily powerful as the United States.

Among young Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, these numbers are, thankfully, significantly lower, as just 19% of adults under the age of 30 agree with their young Democrat counterparts with regards to the idea that other countries are superior to the United States.

Among Republicans ages 50 and older, only 4% share or agree with that sentiment.

The Pew report also noted that while a majority of Republicans say that the United States should try to maintain its status as a military superpower, 38% of Republicans under the age of 30 say that it would be acceptable if another country became as militarily powerful as the US.

Pew notes that "This poll demonstrates the dramatic shift in the Democrat party's base, and the potential schism between traditional Democrat voters and young and woke progressives."

We are already seeing this in real-time. Just a few days ago, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) admitted she is refusing to pay her "dues" (a portion of the funds she has raised--which is over $5 million) to her Democrat Party, "because," she says, "they are not progressive enough" so she is giving the funds to other far-Left progressives who are running for office.

While that is a problem for Speaker Nancy, other young far-Left Democrats are beginning to do the same.

How did we get here?

This is more than a mere political difference between political party members. What Pew has discovered is a deeply rooted, highly nurtured difference of worldviews.

While this Pew study focuses primarily on attitudes regarding our country, there are similar differences in most all opinion polls and studies.

We are a deeply divided country. Trump has not divided us, but he has exposed the divide. And the divide has been deepening for some time.

In fact, GALLUP published a study 2 years ago this month, which they titled, "Conservatives Lead in US Ideology Is Down To Single Digits."

So what has brought us to this point?

The takeaway.

Among the more than 3 million Americans at the time of the Revolutionary War and the writing of the Constitution, Protestant Christianity was the dominant philosophical force.

In fact, Ben Franklin, in his effort to encourage Europeans to move to America---or at least send their children here to be educated, wrote a pamphlet titled, "Information to Those Who Would Remove to America."

In it, he said, "Hence bad examples to youth are more rare in America, which must be a comfortable consideration to parents. To this may be truly added, that serious religion, under its various denominations, is not only tolerated, but respected and practiced."

Franklin, whom secularists to this day claim as one of heir own, recognized not only the appeal of Christianity to the stability of family and culture, but that God's blessing was on this country.

In his pamphlet, he wrote,
"And the Divine Being seems to have manifested his approbation of the mutual forbearance and kindness with which the different sects treat each other, by the remarkable prosperity with which he has been pleased to favor the whole country."

The least religious man of the 55 Founders of America is selling the nation to Europe, using the benefits of Christianity as the reason to move here.

The late Francis Schaeffer would later call the cultural tone of Franklin's time "a Christian consensus."

Pastor John Harvard donated his library and land to give birth to our first college and to---in his words--- "train a literate clergy"---Princeton and Yale were birthed from much the same vision.

This nation was founded on more biblical principles than any nation in history. And that is the secret to America's greatness. Those principles originally permeated our education system, courts, public life, and economic system, producing what President Ronald Reagan called "traditional values."

When these values prevailed, America flourished. The quality of life from the family to the streets was far better than today---with all of our "enlightenment." And "progress."

Today, it is in vogue to trash biblical Christianity. In fact, we have one Democrat running for the presidency who claims that his homosexual "husband" has brought him closer to God, while most all---with the exception of Bernie---claim to be "Christian."

Once secular humanism got its tentacles on our institutions, the decline began. Education has become a cultural experimentation and indoctrination station, while the level of education in our country continues to decline.

Churches that once preached the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation, now celebrate homosexual clergy, advocate for "so-called women's health care, a.k.a. abortion, social justice, and universal salvation---while seeking affirmation and approval from the blind. They're more lost than the people they claim to be reaching out to.

James Russell Lowell was asked by French historian Francois Guizot, "How long will the American republic endure?" Lowell responded, "As long as the ideas of the men who founded it continue to dominate."

Pray for America.

Pray for the President.
