The Democrat Debate About Hate

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Last night the Democrats debated, again. And again it came down to who hates Trump the most.

Billionaire Bloomberg replaced billionaire Steyer on the stage---but nothing replaced the hate.

It's clear, hate cannot unite.

Oh, yes...country music star Charlie Daniels has weighed in on Mr. Bloomberg's farming knowledge. And so has Vice President Pence.

Be informed.

The cast of actors.

In her Sonnet 43, Elizabeth Barrett Browning begins with the familiar words, "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."

What could be "sonnet 45" was played again in Las Vegas last night by Democrats who want to be president:

"How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways..." That, of course, would be a sonnet dedicated to President Trump.

The "party of the people" replaced billionaire Steyer with billionaire Bloomberg on the stage. Otherwise, the cast remains the same---nothing much has changed. It was a contest to decide who hates Trump the most.

Backstage.

My personal smile segment didn't actually happen on stage, it happened backstage--- a few days ago when a recording of Bloomberg was dug up, with Mike describing farmers as people who dig a hole and put a seed in it---not very smart people.

Country rock legend Charlie Daniels probably doesn't hate Bloomberg, or anyone else, but he really didn't like his comments about farmers.

Daniels responded on Twitter with this:

Vice President Mike Pence, who has said he grew up with a cornfield in his backyard, weighed in as well tweeting a reminder of Paul Harvey's "So God Made a Farmer."

But last night was dedicated to hate. And every "debate" is about hate for President Trump.

Hate cannot unite. In fact, it divides. Let me count a few of the ways.

  • Billionaire Bloomberg replaced billionaire Steyer last night and Steyer was not happy. The irony is that while voters can cast their ballot for Steyer in Nevada, Bloomberg's name is not on it.

Steyer's campaign was crying "foul" demanding their guy be given a place on stage because he hates Trump more than the other guy---demanding a last minute change.
But, as they say---"that's just politics."

  • Former Mayor Pete Buttigieg has been on a roll---for a guy who was a smaller city mayor and virtually unknown nationally.

As Pete has repeatedly embraced and kissed his "husband" in front of the nation, quoting Scripture to affirm his homosexual marriage, the gays, Hollywood and the Millennial's,  have sent money and are voting for him.
However, not all homosexuals appreciate his popularity. A fairly large segment of the LGBTQ+ community are publicly claiming he is too white, too masculine, is ignoring the transgenders, etc, etc., because they hate those things.
This led Pete to say recently, "That's why I can't even read the LGBTQ media anymore, because it's all, 'he's too gay', 'not gay enough', 'wrong kind of gay'."
The gay community is divided---except in regard to hating Trump. And even Pete in some cases.

Daniel Greenfield: "Hating Trump Can't Unite The Democrats"

Yesterday, Daniel Greenfield wrote an excellent article with that title.

Some of the following is taken from Greenfield's article. I suggest you read it.

Greenfield says, "The Democrat presidential primaries have been a long politically correct apology tour."

He writes:

Joe Biden was forced to apologize for opposing crime and busing. Bernie Sanders had to offer up mea culpas for ever being on good terms with the NRA and for questioning open borders, Kamala Harris had to apologize for enforcing whatever passes for the law in California, as did Amy Klobuchar, who also had to apologize for having once supported border fencing and English as the country’s national language.
After jumping into the race, Michael Bloomberg launched his own apology tour for trying to stop gang violence with ‘stop and frisk’, for criticizing Obamacare, and the easy loans that wrecked the economy.
No candidate, no matter how lefty, is ever truly pure enough for the party of the perpetually woke. Any politician old enough to run for the White House also has a history of believing in things like borders, language, biology, math, law and order, free speech, and any other realities that offend the Wokeratti.
Only a candidate who has done nothing except chastely spout radical nonsense can pass the purity test.
That’s why Bernie Sanders, a hack from a minor state who, until being excavated by some Obama campaign people who hadn’t gotten a gig with the Clinton campaign, was an obscure nobody who had done nothing except rename post offices, is leading the Democrat death march to political oblivion.

Bloomberg now represents the core Democrats who don't care about anything except beating Trump, while Bernie represents the radicals who hate Trump a little less than they hate the 1% Bloomberg types.

It's the radical Left fringe that is actually talking about issues---like Ocasio-Cortez and Muslim Rep. Ilan Omar---and their issues are so far-Left it frightens even Bernie at times---and terrifies Pelosi and Schumer. But they go along with it because they all hate Trump. And they love their position of power.

Hatred doesn't unite anything, including political movements. It divides them.

No group can hate something or someone enough to become unified.

Greenfield says:

Any political movement that depends on division is inherently fractured. The deeper the divisions become; the harder Democrats hate their common enemy. But underneath that common hatred are a thousand festering hatreds, rivalries and resentments, waiting to break out into internecine warfare.
The Democrats are now at risk of winding up with a brokered convention because hate divided them.
In the Trump Derangement Syndrome era, the Democrats no longer really stand for anything and are willing to fall for anything, from radical ideologies to billionaires and socialists buying the nomination.
Hatred has hollowed out the Democrats leaving behind nothing but a great empty void.
The primaries are the dark night of the Democrat soul. The party’s soul has fed on poisonous hatred. Morning has come to America. But morning may never come to the Democrats divided in darkness.

Takeaway.

Those who live in "hatred" are the "Hollow Men."

The religious Left has created a narrative in which "Love Wins"---meaning that "love", or compassion, is the defining factor for Christian living---not Jesus Christ Himself. "True Christianity," they say, will love so much that we will choose "love" even though it may require revising, bending or even ignoring Scripture to support that particular behavior---and our "compassion.".

Homosexual relations is a case in point.

Jesus gave us the Truth of the matter: He said (Matthew 22:37), "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." That is the context for "hating evil."

The unifying force in life is a personal, loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ--not hatred under the guise of love.
