"Dismantling Whole System Of Oppression In US"

This week Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called for "dismantling the whole system of oppression" in the United States, including beyond the police departments to include our economic and political institutions---and "wherever we find it."

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) agrees.

Apparently, so do Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, and whomever Biden picks for his VP running mate must also agree.

They're setting the stage for President Lincoln's warning to become reality.

Be informed and prayerful, not misled, and fearful.

The call.

Muslim US Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is intent on dismantling our US institutions if they are deemed to be oppressive.

Muslim US Rep. Rashida (D-MI) is endorsing Ilhan's radical calls.

They are calling on all far-left radicals to heed the call.

Omar says:
"We must recognize that these systems of oppression are linked. As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequity. So we cannot stop at the criminal justice system."

She continued,
"We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it."

Rashida is endorsing the call. She tweeted, "My sister said it best: We must begin with dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it. Pass it on."

Omar told CNN 's Jake Tapper: "You can't really reform a department that is rotten to the root."

This, of course, is an echo of Barack Obama's repetitious call to "fundamentally remake America."

It's also the dream of many, elected and non-elected, secular progressive warriors, from Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez to George Soros.

Biden and Sanders are also heeding the call.

Joe Biden, the Democrat presumptive presidential candidate...unless... and self-identified socialist who wanted to be president, Bernie Sanders, have agreed to create a "unity platform" for the Democrat Party.

Yesterday we found out what the "unity platform"---the effort to link the radical far-Left with those Democrats who are not quite that far-Left yet--- will look like.

Issues like "medicare for all," defunding the police, the Green New Deal, and abolishing Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) were not specifically mentioned by name in the first draft, but the document definitely moves in that direction---and will have done so even more by the time it reaches its final draft.

It does, however, specifically list their 6 key areas of action:

  • climate change
  • criminal justice reform
  • the economy
  • education
  • healthcare
  • immigration

Fox News published an overview yesterday of where the Democrats are, at this point, on each of the 6 issues listed. I would encourage you to read it and be informed.

The movement on all 6 issues is toward the far-Left, not toward the center, but they will craft it to appear to be more "center" or "moderate" and they will tell the public it's "centrist" and "moderate," not divisive and destructive like Trump's Republicans.

In education, the document already calls for---and it will move Left in coming revisions--- an expansion of free meals, tripling Title 1 funding to eliminate funding differences between white and majority-minority districts.

It also bans for-profit private charter schools and strongly opposes private school vouchers. And it reinstates Barack Obama's Title IX protections for transgender students.

It calls for making community colleges tuition-free and cancels student loans up to $50,000 for those who go into public service, teachers, and disabled students. It will also forgive all undergraduate tuition related to debt from two and four-year colleges for debt holders earning up to $125,000 with phaseouts.

The Climate Change task force is headed up by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former Sec. of State John Kerry. They are committed to a "faster timetable" to achieve net-zero carbon emissions than Biden had earlier called for. You can fill in the blanks.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said yesterday, "This is not a unity group, this is surrendering to the socialists."

The takeaway.

The 2020 presidential election will be the most consequential since the election of Abraham Lincoln. The end for the Left is so noble, it will justify any means to win the election for Biden---any means.

The Democrat effort is expected.

The Republican effort to defeat Trump was not. It's called the Lincoln Project. It's a group of Bush alumni who have set up a PAC dedicated to defeating Trump and electing Biden.

This is their published mission statement:

Defeat President Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box.
We do not undertake this task lightly nor from ideological preference. Our many policy differences with national Democrats remain. However, the priority for all patriotic Americans must be a shared fidelity to the Constitution and a commitment to defeat those candidates who have abandoned their constitutional oaths, regardless of party. Electing Democrats who support the Constitution over Republicans who do not is a worthy effort.

Pastor Robert Jeffress says:
"They cannot get over their bitterness that Donald Trump was voted into office and absolutely overturned the Republican establishment."

Jeffress is one of many pastors who support Trump because of his strong stand on the sanctity of life, religious freedom, and other issues very important to evangelicals.

He says, "When you get down to it, there's probably not a dime's worth of difference between George W. Bush, George H W Bush, and Joe Biden."

And speaking of Lincoln.

On January 27, 1838, in a speech at the Lyceum in Springfield, Ill. a young Abraham Lincoln spoke at length about how our institutions were under attack and what would be required to preserve them. he spoke about our heritage, the pillars of our culture--- the scourge of slavery, and present-day lawlessness.

Then he said this. And it should be read by every American in 2020:

At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?-- Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!--All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.
At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.

Danger is springing up amongst us. Pray for our nation. Pray for our President.

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful.
