It's more than strange that Hunter Biden released a statement this week in the form of an official press release from his father's "Biden-Harris transition" operation, for the purpose of confirming he is under federal investigation for tax fraud.
Why is CNN, one of Joe Biden's strongest advocates, also now reporting on something that everyone in the press has known for at least 2 years?
China is joyful about the possibility of Joe Biden becoming President of the United States.
A closer look at the security risk the Biden family poses to our national security.

Some in the press fully understand the national security risk created by the Biden family dealings.
Miranda Devine, writing in the New York Post, says it's very strange the way this latest Biden family revelation is being presented.
In his statement, put out by his father's "Biden-Harris" transition team, Hunter Biden said:
"I learned yesterday for the first time that the US Attorney's Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs."
Then the statement had an addendum from his father, Joe, who said this:
"President-elect Biden is deeply proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks of recent months, only to emerge stronger."
First, Joe Biden is not "President-elect until the Inaugural Committee votes to proceed with the inauguration. This week they voted not to proceed at this time because there are too many unresolved "issues with the election."
Secondly, how long does Joe Biden think his "victim" claim will work for his son who has struggled with addictions and shady dealing his entire adult life?
I understand Joe loves his son. I also have a son whom I love deeply. I have not had to face the issues that Joe Biden has faced with my son. He is a deeply committed Christian, upright, honest, and a hard-working executive with an actual company.
But should I have faced the issues Joe Biden has faced, I would have loved my son with all my heart, but not continued to enable him in his behavior---just like most of you reading this column.
The difference, it appears, is that Joe and the family, including Hunter, have been and are benefiting financially from Hunter's behavior.
Devine writes,
"For too long, Joe Biden has gotten away with cynically using sympathy for his druggie son to shield himself from security of his family's shady money making schemes."
Continuing, she said, "But no longer is he a mere candidate."
And she writes,
"When it comes to the Biden family's business associations with the Communist Party entities in China, it doesn't get any more serious."
Does the Biden family and their enablers really think that we "little people" believe Hunter and Joe didn't know about the investigation until the day before yesterday?
CNN knows, and they know it's serious, and it's not going away. So yesterday they reported on the matter so they can now claim they reported it. They said, "After going quiet in the months before the election, federal authorities are now actively investigating the business dealings of Hunter Biden..."
Then they said this: "His father, President-elect Joe Biden, is not implicated."
Four days before the election, the Department of Justice confirmed that the FBI had been conducting a money-laundering investigation into Hunter since 2019, but the story was not told by the press.
CNN says:
"Now that the election is over, the investigation is entering a new phase. Federal prosecutors in Delaware, working with the IRS Criminal Investigation agency and the FBI, are taking steps such as issuing subpoenas and seeking interviews,"
And CNN says: 'The investigation had gone covert in recent months due to Justice Department guidelines prohibiting overt actions that could affect an election."
Nobody believes that.
If that were true, why didn't those special rules apply to Trump leading up to the 2016 election?
Three reports this week point to serious concerns about China's influence over Joe Biden and certain Democrat politicians.
1. The final report of the Republican-led Senate Finance and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committees released on Tuesday disturbing details on Biden family ties to China as well as Ukraine.
2. A yearlong investigation by Axios reveals a political-intelligence operation run by China's spy agency between 2011 and 2015, in which a spy developed "extensive ties with local and national politicians, including Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a member of the House Intelligence Committee.
3. A video played by Fox's Tucker Carlson shows a Chinese economics professor telling a Chinese convention that China's influence over American affairs via its friends on Wall Street had subsided under the Trump administration, but would be better than ever with Biden back in power.
You can read the 87-page Homeland Security report I mentioned above. You will find that their conclusion is:
"Hunter Biden's and his family's financial transactions with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals raise criminal concerns and extortion threats."
The report says much about Hunter's $50 to $80 thousand dollar a month job on the Ukrainian Burisma board, but their report on China, our primary security threat, is frightening.
This is a bit of the report:
"The records acquired by the Committee show consistent, significant and extensive financial connections among and between Hunter Biden, James Biden [Joe's brother], Sara Biden [Joe's sister-in-law], Devon Archer [Hunter's business partner], and Chinese nationals connected to the Communist regime..."
And the report says this:
"These connections and the vast amount of money transferred among and between them don't just raise conflicts-of-interest concerns, they raise criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns."
The report also says that Joe Biden claims that he has never spoken to his son Hunter about his business dealings.
The AXIOS investigation mentioned above reveals that a Chinese spy named Christine Fang ingratiated herself with Democrat politicians in California, including Rep. Eric Swalwell who serves on the Intelligence Committee.
She and Swalwell apparently had an ongoing romantic affair, she helped him get elected in 2012, fundraised for him, and "placed at least one intern in his office." The relationship ended in 2015 when the FBI alerted Swalwell that she was a Chinese spy.
She then fled the country.
Yesterday Swalwell, who championed the fake Trump-Russia collusion accusations calling Donald Trump a "Russian spy," told the press that he is the victim of "law enforcement weaponized" against him.
With candor, Dr. Di, the Chinese economist and professor, mapped out the way China has exploited its relationships with Wall Street and America's "core inner circle of power and influence" to manipulate US domestic and foreign policy.
He said, "Trump's election temporarily disrupted China's influence," saying, "Wall Street couldn't fix Trump."
Then he said, "But a Biden administration would mean China could go back to business as usual, specifically pointing to Hunter Biden's business deals as the conduit serving China's political interests."
Pray for America. Pray for President Trump.
