What Does "Building Back Better" Really Mean?

The G-7 summit appears to have adopted President Biden's "build back better" campaign slogan, with several of the "rich-7" leaders repeating the phrase over and over and over.

But the slogan "building back better" really wasn't Biden's slogan either. As he has been known to do---he borrowed it from someone else, making it his own.

A quick look at Wikipedia tells you the phrase (BBB) emerged in the 1990s in relation to earthquakes, tsunamis, and storms---it had to do with repairing and replacing roads, bridges, and power grids.

Kind of like "infrastructure" used to mean replacing roads, bridges, and utilities, Biden's "build back better" slogan means something very different than it appears to mean.

Be informed, not misled.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said following the summit last Friday,

"We need to build back better" in several ways. And I actually think we have a huge opportunity to do that because as G7, we are united in our vision..." which he described as an opportunity to build back better in a "greener, more gender neutral and perhaps more feminine way."

He said the "world is looking to us---the most prominent grouping of democratic countries...to lead in a global recovery."

So, what does "building back better" really mean to these folks--specifically, we should understand what it means to President Joe Biden. But there is a consensus among the 7 most prominent nations in the world.

The anatomy of  BBB.

BBB means reordering the world economic system.

The globalist World Economic Forum is not timid in claiming to build back better, we need to fix capitalism. But they're optimistic because "Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, the world is off-balance..."

They say:

"COVID-19 has exposed the fragility and societally negative outcomes of contemporary capitalist economies. It has strengthened the case for shifting to a more sustainable and inclusive model" and has "created a context in which transformative change is at least possible. It is vital that we seize this opportunity to correct the broken incentives and information flows at the heart of our current model of capitalism."

But they're not really advocating for a better form of capitalism, they're advocating for a form of socialism linked to globalism.

Because, they say, "If we don't seize this opportunity to build back better---to reset and reinvent rather than 'return to normal'--- systemic risks and vulnerabilities will continue to accumulate."

They're hopeful. "Despite the tragedy, we must leverage the transformation of the global economy, taking us closer to a world in which everyone can live well, within planetary boundaries."

BBB means a "greener" way of life.

Boris Johnson said coming out of the pandemic the global community has the opportunity to "build back better in a greener more gender-neutral and perhaps a more feminine way."

He reaffirmed that all 7 nations are "united in our vision for a cleaner, greener world, a solution to the problems of climate change."

Many in the UK who voted for Johnson, thinking he was a conservative have been very disappointed. And "build back better" means about the same thing it means to President Biden: The exact opposite of what it appears to mean.

This new version of the "build back better" campaign is actually coming primarily from the United Nations.

The greens and the globalists are united on the climate issue. And they've taken it to a new level, connecting the green new deal and feminism, with BBC reporting that "Building Back Better requires building back differently. We need a rainbow recovery."  This, accompanied by a picture of solar panels stretching as far as the eye can see---with the phrase, "Our Planet Matters."

The connections are obvious. Obama called this vision "remaking" rather than "building back"---but it all means the same thing.

If you think the "crisis" mode with its nightmare mandates, legislation, and demands will go away with the coronavirus, we should think again. As long as the left is in power the crisis will continue because it presents an "opportunity" to remake the world.

BBB means "freedom to worship" (for now), but not "freedom of religion."

It's not coincidental that Johnson, Biden, and the other globalist leaders easily connect the economy, the green new deal, globalism, and the social, moral issues to their vision of  "building back better."

Their process of "building back" addresses the issues of hate crimes, bigotry, racism, homophobia---you know the list.

Biblical teaching is direct on all issues because the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. And God isn't confused, nor is He the author of confusion.

Much of God's Word does not---His values and principles--- align with a developing world religion.

Our First Amendment to the US Constitution  begins, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Fast forward. Today, one of the most pressing issues concerns religious freedom. All over the world.

In America, we have experienced the exchange of the words "religious freedom" for the words "freedom of worship." Obama and Hillary Clinton began using the words, Trump didn't use them, now this administration is back to using "freedom of worship" to replace "religious freedom." Words matter.

Religious freedom is more than "freedom to worship" at a church, synagogue, or mosque. It means people shouldn't have to violate their deeply held religious values in order to conform to culture or government in regard to expressing those beliefs.

Freedom of worship allows religious expression in your meeting place, but forbids its expression in the public square if it conflicts with government-sanctioned moral codes and practices.

The moral collision between government and citizen is myriad, but primarily related to the LGBTQ agenda. And abortion.

Laws have been written and passed that go far beyond the original "gay rights" movement.

Today if biblical Christians do not affirm, and even celebrate homosexuality, there are laws that allow the state to severely punish those who do not conform.

The Heritage Foundation has published an article that speaks to this issue and concern.

They note that the removal of religious freedom from our culture would have significant consequences because about 350,000 religious congregations operate schools, pregnancy resource centers, soup kitchens, drug addiction programs, homeless shelters, and adoption agencies.

These efforts serve an estimated 70 million people each year and the value of their services is estimated at over one trillion dollars annually.

Biden and his buddies, with their global agenda, are not only attacking individual liberty and human dignity, but the very foundation that has made America strong.

Here's how their ideology translates to reality.

The misnamed "Equality Act"---HR 5---is currently live in the Senate. This bill is anything but an "Equality Act." It completely wipes out the federal Religious Freedom Act (RFRA) of 1993 with strong support from Democrats---but that has all changed now.

HR 5 will essentially force Christian schools and churches to promote and celebrate LGBTQ values and abortion should it become law.

If it becomes law, biblical teaching on the subjects will become "hate speech" punishable under existing laws, with massive lawsuits and prosecution from the US Department of Justice.

Frankly, all sexual perversions are "normalized" under the Equality Act. All institutions, including religious ones, must endorse the LGBTQ and abortion agenda or be punished. Christian ministries could lose their tax-exempt status and Christian schools their accreditation.

These are times that require us to stand firm in the Lord. The battle is the Lord's, but he has commanded us to stand strong.

"With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles" (II Chronicles 32:8).
