In an April interview with CNN, Vice President Kamala Harris bragged about the major role she played in crafting the Biden administration's plan to "quickly withdraw American troops from Afghanistan."
As President Biden leaps into the chaos he has created, with "solutions" in hand, we're learning his administration will not be giving US citizens any priority among evacuees. Really. Not even the American press stranded in the country.
The Department of Defense refused to answer whether they have a plan to prevent the Taliban from obtaining the US weapons in Afghanistan.
The emperor has no clothes---neither does the "emperor-ess."
Be informed, not misled.
In the course of human events.
She commended the president for his decision to pull out.
"This is a president who has an extraordinary amount of courage," she told CNN anchor Dana Bash. "He is someone who I have seen---over and over again---make decisions on what he truly believes, based on his years of doing this work and studying these issues, what he believes is the right thing to do."
Making decisions based on what one "truly believes" as opposed to what? Making decisions on things a leader does not truly believe?
To be sure that CNN and their audience fully understood her major role in the planning, she confirmed to CNN and their half dozen viewers that she was, in fact, the last person in the room shortly after President Biden announced that he had ordered all US military personnel to withdraw from Afghanistan.
"It's really something to see," she said.
Indeed it is.
I believe her. I believe she had a major role in crafting Biden's plan. Whatever that was.
The president, in his announcement, said the withdrawal "wouldn't be hastily done and would be deliberate."
Now the Biden administration is bare naked in front of the world.
Pretending to lead the most powerful, blessed, prosperous nation in the history of the world down Main Street---the course of human events--- the world stands by whispering to one another, "The emperor has no clothes" while Americans now know the emperor-ess is also naked.
And Nancy Pelosi---second in line to the presidency after the vice president--- stands in the wings, fully dressed by the same designer.
30,000 Afghans on their way to America.
However, the mass evacuation plan will not prioritize American citizens living in the now-Taliban country.
Pentagon spokesperson, John Kirby, says that "officials want to have the capacity to get up to several thousand immediately and want to be prepared for the potential of tens of thousands."
He says, "Once we get more airlift out of Kabal, we're going to put as many people on these planes as we can. There will be a mix, not just American citizens, but perhaps some SIV applicants as well"---highlighting that American citizens will be given no priority.
The State Department has been tasked with deciding who gets chosen for the process of evacuation.
One of many lingering questions.
Yesterday the Department of Defense was asked what they are doing---what their plan is to prevent the Taliban from obtaining US weapons left in Afghanistan.
A top military official said he doesn't "have information" about an effort to seize military equipment the US gave to the fallen Afghanistan government and has since been taken by Taliban insurgents.
Major General Hank Taylor, the US Strategic Command Chief of Staff, repeatedly evaded questions about the Taliban potentially obtaining scores of US technology.
When pressed about confiscated US weaponry, Taylor said: "I don't have the answer to that question."
On Sunday, many Afghan soldiers chose to lay down their arms rather than resist, according to the Washington Post.
Pictures coming out of Afghanistan show the Taliban posing with US weapons, sitting in US helicopters, and waving American equipment.

According to the New York Times, the US has devoted more than $83 billion to training the Afghan military and supplying it with modern weapons and equipment.
The return on that investment is daunting. Will these weapons show up in the hands of terrorists, not in Afghanistan, but in our own country? Or Israel?
The most disturbing admission from Biden's National Security advisor.
Yesterday Jake Sullivan, Biden's National Security adviser, admitted that "certainly a fair amount" of US weapons "has fallen into the hands of the Taliban."
Sullivan said, "What I'm going to do is stay focused on the task at hand which is getting as many people out as rapidly as possible."

A reporter asked, "So you can't commit to bringing back every American?"
"Can you offer any guarantee to the Americans and Afghan allies that remain there past the end of the month that US troops will help them evacuate?"
Press secretary Jen Psaki, back from her shortened vacation responded, "Our focus right now is on doing the work at hand."
Translation: "No."
Yesterday morning, Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby told CNN that the military is not "equipped and able" to help Americans trapped inside their homes in Kabul.
The takeaway
President Biden continues to prove himself a very weak president, much like President Carter and Ford, but even weaker due to his cognitive challenges.
The Islamic regime's henchmen have already marched blindfolded US Embassy personnel out of the building, hands in the air in passive surrender.
President Biden has pleaded with the Taliban to spare the US Embassy until he could evacuate people and intelligence assets before a band of illiterate sheepherders took them away from the world's most powerful nation.
The Afghan army has been trained and supervised by Gen Mark Milley, the US Commander who has been hyper-focused on getting our military personnel to study the critical race theory materials to help them better understand the world we live in.
How much of our weaponry does the Taliban now control? No one knows for sure. But it's a lot.
Here's what we do know.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof" (Psalm 46:1-3).
God is in control.
