While President Biden gave a thumbs down to Christopher Columbus on Monday, reminding America he was lost at sea when he stumbled upon "America" and consequently was responsible for Indigenous People losing their land and becoming diseased by the intruders, he gave a huge thumbs up to the Indigenous People.

The president also gave a thumbs up to the LGBTQ+ agenda by proclaiming Monday as a day of celebration. No, not for the Indigenous.

A celebration of "Coming Out Day." A day to celebrate homosexuality.

NBC also celebrated with a feature story titled, "Trump's Presidency Linked To LGBTQ Mental illness."

Who knows if the two events were orchestrated?

While our supply chain is collapsing, the economy is not recovering, and chaos rules in every aspect of governance, our president and the media celebrate what God condemns.

"There is a way that seems right unto man..."

Be informed, not misled.

Biden's proclamations.

President Biden said in his official statement Monday, "Today we celebrate 'National Coming Out Day' and the courage of LGBTQ+ people who live their lives with pride, create community with open arms and hearts, and showcase the strength of being your authentic self."

He pledged himself and the power of his presidency to ensure that "every member of the LGBTQ+ community know you are loved and accepted just the way you are---regardless of whether or not you have come out"---promising to "ensure that LGBTQ+ people can live openly, proudly, and freely in every corner of our nation."

I agree. Every person on earth, regardless of the depth of sin they have experienced, is loved. Deeply loved.

And every person has a right to live openly, proudly, and freely. It is written that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. And it is also written that those whom the Son sets free are free indeed.

With His forgiveness comes restoration and deliverance from the sin, not affirmation of the sin.

Government does not have the right, nor the power to bestow liberty and freedom---personally or collectively.

Our Founders recognized from the beginning that government cannot be allowed to attempt to bestow rights and liberty---because its best effort always leads to bondage---which they were escaping in England.

Our Founders chose the path that embraces Judeo-Christian principles---God's Truth. God's freedom. God's liberty.

Our leaders today can't even reconcile what they claim to believe spiritually with their own Catholic Church, much less with God Himself and His Word.

Jesus Christ did not die on a cross in public humiliation to affirm sin. Any sin. He died to make men free by paying the price---the penalty, for our sin, and through His Resurrection, we are delivered from our sin by our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Christ is not an enabler of sin. He is our Savior from sin. President Biden is the enabler. He has chosen and is leading others down a path of destruction, claiming it is a path of deliverance and freedom.

While noting he has appointed openly homosexuals to the highest places in our government---evidently a reference to Pete Buttigieg and others, the president promises to fight for the "full promise of equality," with no understanding that the price of full equality has already been paid at the cross of Jesus Christ: All are welcome. All are included. Just as you are.

And all have sinned. And homosexuality, according to God's Word, is sin. Not the only sin. But a sin that is strongly condemned in the Bible.

Homosexuality is the most celebrated sin in America today. And those who practice the behavior struggle personally, emotionally, and spiritually.

NBC News ran a story yesterday titled, "Trump's Presidency Linked To LGBTQ Mental Illness."

NBC News begins with:

"Anxiety. Depression. Stress. These are some of the emotions LGBTQ Americans experienced during the Trump administration, according to two recent studies. The reports, conducted independently, both landed on the same conclusion: There was a significant decline in the mental well being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people while Donald Trump was president."

The study, scheduled to be published in the December issue of the journal, Economics and Human Biology, found "extreme mental distress---defined as reporting poor mental health every day for the past 30 days---increased among LGBTQ people during Trump's rise and presidency."

The studies note that "Trans and nonbinary youth are at particular risk for the most devastating consequences of mental distress, including suicide."

The studies also blame Texas for the causalities among the young.

One of the researchers claims that "Texas legislators this year have introduced dozens of anti-LGBTQ bills, many of which target trans and nonbinary people."

They claim Texas is "effectively bullying by legislation. It is dangerous and wrong."

The studies conclude that "advocates hope LGBTQ mental health might improve under the Biden administration" due to his strong public support.

However, they fear that "the ongoing support for Trump among many Republicans, the onslaught of anti-LGBTQ state legislation and the failure to pass the Equality Act in Congress"---will send the wrong message to the youth.

Takeaway

The "Equality Act," also known as HR 5, effectively replaces the fundamental concept of biological sex in favor of gender identity. It's radical, and will severely affect women, specifically as it would destroy women's sports and eliminate the traditional right to privacy for women in public facilities because gender identity, rather than biological sex, would be prioritized.

This so-called "Equality Act" is less a piece of legislation than it is a fist in the face of God.

It is not about Biden, "having your back," "standing up for you," "making you feel better about yourself," or any of the other narcissistic confusion.

It's about rebellion against Almighty God. The Creator of all things, who created male and female in  His own image and likeness.

Calvin Coolidge, our 30th President of the United States, said this:

"The strength of our country is the strength of our religious convictions. The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country."

We are living through a time of "difficulty," but as Ronald Reagan said, "If we trust in Him, keep His Word, and live our lives for His pleasure, He'll give us the power we need---power to fight the good fight, to finish the race, and to keep the faith."
