Is China Meddling In US 2024 Election?

Fred Fleitz, vice chair of the Center for American Security, told Newsmax on Saturday that "China's probably meddling in the 2024 election to get Joe Biden reelected."

On Friday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CNN that the White House has found potential evidence of election interference, specifically from China. Following his three-day trip in which he met with high-ranking Chinese officials, Blinken said he had seen "evidence of attempts to influence and arguably interfere" with the upcoming elections in the U.S.

Be informed, not misled.

Fleitz felt it was ironic that Blinken was raising the issue of Chinese interference as he assumed the country's goal was to help Biden.

"I think that China's probably meddling in the 2024 election to get Biden reelected. They don't want [former President Donald] Trump back. They know Trump will be a real problem. He'll stand up to them to put more tariffs on China," he said during an appearance on "Wake Up America Weekend."

China expert Gordon Chang joined the discussion and said, "China is trying to destroy the United States because they believe we're an existential threat."

Change said a large number of Chinese migrants have entered the U.S. illegally, and many are "engaging in some very disturbing activity."

"They're coming here to wage war on the U.S. We know that the Chinese have created the infrastructure in our country to attack us, including that secret Chinese biological weapons facility in Reedley, California, which had Ebola. So, yeah, this is a mortal threat," he said.

A new CNN poll shows Biden tanking and Trump soaring.

Former President Donald Trump has opened the biggest lead ever captured in the CNN poll of the American electorate, enjoying a six-point advantage over incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden.

Trump, at 49 percent, is six percent ahead of Biden’s 43 percent when the two are polled head-to-head.

When third-party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Jill Stein, and Cornel West are added, Trump’s lead over Biden grows to nearly double digits. In that multi-candidate scenario, Trump is at 42 percent, Biden is down at 33 percent, Kennedy is at 16 percent, West is at four percent, and Stein is at three percent.

CNN, in its story about the poll, found most Americans look back on Trump’s presidency positively—and look at Biden’s presidency negatively. CNN’s Jennifer Agiesta wrote that “in the coming rematch, opinions about the first term of each man vying for a second four years in the White House now appear to work in Trump’s favor, with most Americans saying that, looking back, Trump’s term as president was a success, while a broad majority says Biden’s has so far been a failure.”

Assessing Biden’s time in office so far, 61% say his presidency thus far has been a failure, while 39% say it’s been a success. That’s narrowly worse than the 57% who called the first year of his administration a failure in January 2022, with 41% calling it a success.

Republicans now are more unified around the idea that Trump’s presidency was a success than Democrats are that Biden’s has been one. Overall, 92% of Republicans call Trump’s time in office a success, while just 73% of Democrats say Biden’s has been a success so far. Among independents, 51% say Trump’s presidency was successful, while only 37% see Biden’s as a success.

And then there is the open border....and China.

Fox News is reporting that "Chinese illegal immigration is on a pace to break records at the US southern border."

Officials and lawmakers are raising national security concerns about the spike in Chinese nationals pouring across our border.

A dramatic increase in Chinese illegal immigration is on track to break records at the southern border, with apprehensions from the communist country in one sector alone already eclipsing fiscal 2021 in just a few days.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources tell Fox News that between Saturday and Monday there were 452 Chinese nationals apprehended by Border Patrol in the San Diego Sector alone.

That’s more than the 450 apprehended in fiscal 2021 altogether across the entire southwest border.

The number of Chinese nationals has been increasing since fiscal 2021. In fiscal 2022, numbers increased to more than 2,000 border-wide. In fiscal 2023, that number then surged to more than 24,314.

So far in fiscal 2024, which began in October, there have been more than 18,750 encounters by the end of January, meaning that the fiscal year is already on track to exceed last year’s numbers. There were nearly 6,000 encounters in December alone.

The increase in illegal migration from China is an indicator of how global the U.S. border crisis has become.

Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents all rank-and-file Border Patrol agents nationwide, told Fox News last week that the majority of the Chinese border crossers are single adult males of military age.

"That is a very scary prospect. We know that China does not like us, we know that we are in the crosshairs of China," Judd said.

"And they are exporting so many people to our country, and you have to really fear about that."

"There have been numerous documented instances of Chinese nationals, at the direction of the CCP, engaging in espionage, stealing military and economic secrets," a group of Republican senators warned last year.

Overall, there have been more than 961,000 migrant encounters this fiscal year after a record-setting 2.4 million in fiscal 2023.

Takeaway

Even The New York Times seems to admit that China is all in on trying to affect the upcoming presidential election.

They recently said, "Liu Pengyu, the spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Washington, said in a statement that the presidential election was 'the domestic affair of the United States' and that 'China is committed to the principle of non-interference.'”

That should settle any anxiety a person might have about China's intentions. Of course, they mean no harm.

America First Policy Institute has written an excellent article explaining what China is attempting to do to our country---calling the Chinese crises at our southern border a "Trojan Horse."

They conclude, "The current policymaking environment in Washington, D.C., is weak against our adversaries, which the CCP has already exploited, taking advantage of our Nation’s openness and democratic institutions. It’s time for the Biden Administration to wake up to the severity of this threat and refuse to tolerate the CCP’s exploitation of our Nation."

Or, I would add, it's time for new leadership or America, as we have known it, will be lost forever.
