Blasphemy In Paris Stuns The World

Christians and non-Christians alike were stunned around the world as an estimated one billion people tuned in to view the opening ceremonies of the Olympics held in Paris this year.

They were not prepared for what they saw.

It was the most depraved debauchery celebrated under the guise of "athletics" ever presented before a worldwide audience since the collapse of the Grecian culture.

The opening presentation included a depiction of The Last Supper with drag queens as Jesus’ disciples.

It included a depiction of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, which portrays Jesus' last meal with his disciples before his betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion.

The song "King" played loudly as a lesbian wearing a crown was depicted as Jesus.

Be informed, not misled.

The song “King” played loudly as a lesbian wearing a crown was depicted as Jesus surrounded by men in drag, one of whom was a bearded man with long, blonde hair who later danced suggestively down a catwalk, much like a stripper would do. The catwalk was in front of the Last Supper table, where a young girl stood near the men in drag.

The despicable parody of the Last Supper (Mark 14:17-26), featuring drag queens and other actors who stood in poses inverted from the da Vinci painting, was set on a bridge over the Seine River that overlooks the Eiffel Tower.

The parody included "A woman holding her hands in the shape of a heart."

Located at the center was the ornately dressed woman with a large silver headdress that resembled a halo as depicted in paintings of Jesus.

To add to the blasphemy, a massive serving tray was planted on the stage — revealing a scantily dressed man, painted head to toe in sparkling blue, curled up inside.

What was that all about?

The Olympics committee explained that the performance was an “interpretation of the Greek God [of wine and festivity] Dionysus” to make “us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings.”

Make no mistake, most of the debauchery was directed at Judeo-Christianity.

In addition to promoting perversion, other depictions that biblically astute viewers were outraged about included the head of a golden calf and a horseman of the Apocalypse.

The Old Testament book of Exodus tells the historical account of when God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt and commanded them (Exodus 20:2–5) not to worship any other gods or create any idols to worship.

When Moses met with God on Mount Sinai and was given the Ten Commandments, he came back down from the mountain to find that the Israelites had melted their gold to create an idol of a golden calf to worship as the god who had delivered them from Egypt.

Many Christians recognized another symbol in the opening ceremonies: one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Antichrist.

John writes in Revelation 6:1-2: "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."

The Antichrist is a deceiver who will rise to power and mimic Jesus Christ as a peacemaker but will set out to kill and destroy all who oppose him.

Revelation 13:7-8 says, "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

The Olympics also featured a pre-recorded dance in which a threesome — two men and one woman — frolicked around the streets of Paris in a romantic chase, pretending to kiss each other and ending up in a room and shutting the door on viewers before engaging in their sexual activities in private.

Pathetic.

The public reaction

Ironically, this presentation was made in Paris one day after Presidential hopeful Kamala Harris became the first sitting vice president to appear on an episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” a program that promotes the "trans" movement.

Fortunately, most people don't agree with Kamala Harris's position on this kind of debauchery.

However, Breitbart News published yesterday, "First Lady Jill Biden praised the Paris Olympics’ controversial opening ceremony as 'spectacular' after it received backlash for offending Christians with a drag queen depiction of Jesus’s Last Supper."

Even Elon Musk, who makes no claim to be a Christian, said on social media, "It's extremely disrespectful to Christians.”

In response to the blasphemous and satanic display, Harrison Butker, a kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, shared the Bible verse Galatians 6:7-8 in a post on X: “Be not be deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”

Abby Johnson, host of the “Politely Rude” podcast and former Planned Parenthood clinic director-turned-women’s advocate, also rebuked the depiction of Jesus and His disciples, writing on X, “It’s crazy how they openly degrade and mock our beliefs then call us intolerant.”

She says, “They give the Olympic flame to a man and a man dressed as a woman. Instead of choosing a real woman, they chose a man with a bunch of clown makeup and a wig. A mockery of womanhood and insulting to women everywhere,” Johnson said Wednesday in a post on X.

Takeaway

There is a growing outrage not only from America but from around the world.

In fact, the reaction is so strong that the Olympic Committee has now scrubbed some of the content I've shared from their website, making some weak attempts at explaining away what they put before the world.

There are more than two billion Christians in the world. Every single one of us should be outraged.

Romans chapter 1 is very direct about this issue:

  • Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
  • For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.
  • And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
  • And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
  • Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents.
  • Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.
  • Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Every Christian should step away from watching the Olympics this year. I plan to do so, and I love sporting events. But this time, I'm out. My absence may not have any effect on the total viewership, but I can assure you that I already feel good about my decision because I'm "having no pleasure in them that do such things."

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant. Be Engaged. Be Prayerful.
