Black Lives Matter, a Left-wing Marxist organization conceived in the womb of the Democratic Party, is resisting the installation of Vice President Kamala Harris as the presumptive Democratic nominee and is calling on the Democratic National Convention "to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates."
Black Lives Matter claims, "We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs."
Probably a good number of the 14 million plus people who voted for Biden in the Democrat primaries would share those sentiments.
Be informed, not misled.

Black Lives Matter is resisting the installation of Vice President Kamala Harris as the presumptive Democratic nominee and is calling on the Democratic National Convention "to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates."
BLM says that "a 24-hour process of talking to party bosses is not democratic, nor is it a process Democrats should be proud of."
For weeks after his disastrous debate performance last month, internal party pressure mounted against President Biden to drop out of the race — though he resisted those calls and insisted he was "in it to win it."
But abruptly, over the weekend, Biden dropped out of the race and nominated Harris to lead the top of the ticket. And overnight, the Democratic Party coalesced around her, winning enough delegate support to secure the nomination at the DNC convention in August.
Keep in mind this is the same political party that claims to be protecting "Democracy" from Donald Trump.
What does BLM want?
BLM, a group that predominantly aligns with the Democrat Party, is calling foul on the play.
They say, "We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs. Installing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and an unknown vice president without any public voting process would make the modern Democratic Party a party of hypocrites," the group said in a statement.
I agree.
They continue: "Black Lives Matter demands that the [DNC] immediately host an informal, virtual snap primary across the country prior to the DNC convention in August."
"We call for the Rules Committee to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates. The current political landscape is unprecedented, with President Biden stepping aside in a manner never seen before. This moment calls for decisive action to protect the integrity of our democracy and the voices of Black voters," it said.
"Democratic Party elites and billionaire donors are attempting to manipulate Black voters by anointing Kamala Harris and an unknown vice president as the new Democratic ticket without a primary vote by the public," the group says.
"This blatant disregard for democratic principles is unacceptable. While the potential outcome of a Harris presidency may be historic, the process to achieve it must align with true democratic values," it continued.
"We have no idea where Kamala Harris stands on the issues, now that she has assumed Joe Biden’s place, and we have no idea of the record of her potential vice president because we don’t even know who it is yet."
Well, they're right.
A spokesman for the group says this is really not about Kamala Harris, "Those of us who care about the principles of democracy cannot be serious about installing Kamala Harris and an unknown vice president as the Democratic nominee without any semblance of a people-powered process."
BLM has now become a voice for "truth" and "democracy?"
Consequence
The New York Post editorial board wrote, a response under this headline: "Kamala Harris’ coronation marks California Democrats’ conquest of the party — bye-bye, working class."
The board says this:
Once the euphoria of finally prying Barnacle Joe Biden off the ticket subsides, Democratic voters should be asking themselves just what their party stands for now.
Many may find themselves furious.
The coup apparently masterminded by Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi may mean Kamala Harris has improved Dem chances of winning the presidency, but it also represents the completion of a fundamental change in the party.
Whatever his actual policies, “Lunch Bucket Joe” always aimed to identify first and foremost with the working class — the party’s base from the days of FDR and Harry Truman.
Harris, by contrast, epitomizes the hyper-progressive and out-of-touch California party of George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, their elite Hollywood dinner pals, Silicon Valley gazillionaires, government employee unions, and the chattering professional class.
These people are devoted to divisive “social justice,” fighting climate change at any cost, being religiously soft on crime, expanding a dependent class through welfare, and ruthlessness on identity politics.
The Post also notes, "Truth be told, the national party has been trending that way since at least Bill Clinton’s presidency. But now the metamorphosis seems complete."
"The left’s long march through America’s institutions, especially the universities, played a huge role by pushing boutique culture-war issues (“wokery”) to the top of its agenda," the board says.
Reality
The unknown factor is Kamala Harris's primary advantage for now. It doesn’t gloss over that the 2024 Democratic Party ticket is a ratship in total disarray. The unity cited incessantly on MSNBC is a manufactured media narrative where little is grounded in reality. If there is a coalescing around the vice president, these loyal soldiers have no choice but to back her because who else is there?
Harris dropped out before the 2020 Iowa Caucuses. No Democratic primary voter has ever voted for her. Again, the lion's share of the party backs her because there is no other choice. Democrats don’t like her. It’s the primary reason she dropped out of the 2020 race—a precipitous fall that was dogged by rumors of a toxic work environment and a woman who wasn’t ready for primetime. Also, there’s inner-Democratic Party base politics here, where a black radio host, Karen Hunter, got blunt regarding why Harris 2020 fizzled: she’s married to a white guy."
It shouldn’t matter, but with the unhinged and race-obsessed woke Left being a vocal faction of the base, these factors play a role:
Yet, that’s one of 99 problems Harris has heading into her duel with Donald Trump. Right now, there’s a gaslighting operation, unlike anything we've seen, where the establishment media is re-writing history, like how she was never put in charge of the border."
Takeaway
Writing in AXIOS, a leftist news organization, Stef W. Knight said, "Harris border confusion haunts her new campaign."
Here's how her piece framed Harris's title:
"Driving the news: The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the 'border czar' title — which she never actually had."
That is a lie.
"Harris was appointed 'border czar' in March of 2021, and since that time, millions and millions of illegal aliens have invaded our country and countless Americans have been killed by migrant crime because of her willful demolition of American borders and laws," Trump told reporters on a call on Tuesday.
House GOP Chair Elise Stefanik introduced a resolution condemning the administration and its "Border Czar" for failing to secure the U.S. border.
Harris supporters have rushed to her defense. "She assumed the role that Vice President Biden had during the Obama administration, which is diplomacy with Central America," former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson told Fox News on Tuesday. "She is not the border czar."
