While President Joe Biden has been recouping from getting fired by his own political party, our vice president is running around the country in her effort to be elected to fill Biden's empty chair.
So many people ask, "Who is running the country now?"
A recent picture caught my attention. It may help answer that question.
Be informed, not misled.
Last week, I wrote about the fact that George Soros had been approved by the Democrat majority FCC to buy the "Audacy" group of more than 200 radio stations and would be enabled by the Federal Communications Commission to immediately take control of the stations before the November 5 election.
Incidentally, several conservative talk show hosts, including Sean Hannity, Dana Loesch, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Erick Erickson, and others, air on those stations.
The fact that Soros included several foreign investors in the purchase was waived for later consideration; even though our laws prevent foreign investors from owning more than 25% of broadcast properties, which these investors do, the deal was expedited for Soros.
This week, we learned that a Congressional Over Sight Committee is investigating the deal.
Meanwhile.
Alex Soros, son of billionaire financier George Soros, huddled with Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz and hosted him at his New York City apartment.
"Honored to host Governor Tim Walz at my home in New York City!" Soros wrote in an X post Tuesday.
Since taking over from his father, 38-year-old Soros has been politically active, donating millions to political committees that help Democrats win elections and expanding various left-wing endeavors.
Alex's social media profiles have dozens of pictures of him and leading House and Senate Democrats since 2018.
The two who appear the most are Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York and then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California.
Weeks ago, he publicized a photo with Vice President Kamala Harris, writing, "Great to recently catch up with Madame Vice President, [Kamala Harris]!"
Fox News reports, "Alex has also donated millions to Democrats over the past several years, albeit far less than his father. Since the 2018 elections, Alex has poured more than $5 million into federal political coffers. Records show that his largest contribution was $2 million to the Schumer-aligned Senate Majority PAC during this time. "
Alex pushed over $700,000 into the Biden Victory Fund in 2020, putting him among its top donors.
He's provided hundreds of thousands in additional cash to the Nancy Pelosi Victory Fund, Democratic National Committee, and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). He's also given tens of thousands more to state Democratic parties and individual campaigns, many of which were maximum contributions.
What is the Soros agenda?
George and his son are globalists. He apparently wants to dismantle America as it is and, as Barack Obama often said, "remake America."
Nonprofits in liberal billionaire George Soros' Open Society Foundations network dropped at least $35 million into anti-police groups and initiatives in 2021, tax forms reviewed by Fox News Digital show.
Soros views overhauling the criminal justice system as a high priority and has bankrolled numerous groups and initiatives working on such efforts in recent years. He has also financially backed dozens of far-left prosecutor candidates as part of the efforts.
The financier's nonprofits continued the push in 2021 by passing large sums to groups that back defunding police, hubs used by progressive activists aiming to dismantle law enforcement, and even funding databases to track donations to police department foundations and unions.
Alex Soros chairs his family’s Open Society Foundations, a $25 billion philanthropic venture. His father founded the organization in the 1990s, and it has a reputation for pushing progressive causes.
The Soros family are particularly committed to open borders. They're globalists to the core.
On a personal note, the younger Soros and his new fiancĂ©e, Huma Abedin, were spotted with Walz last month at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Abedin is the ex-wife of disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) and had been a longtime aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Some have even described her as Clinton's “second daughter.”
Does any of this help clarify why Kamala has not felt any sense of importance in providing what exactly she will do as president?
And does it help us understand who is actually running our country at this time?
The New York Post says, "Over the years, the 38-year-old has posted numerous photos touting meetings with high-profile Democrats, illustrating his influence within the party. He’s also been listed repeatedly in White House visitor logs."
He has described himself as “more political” than his 94-year-old father, who has long championed a range of left-wing causes, including a push to overhaul the justice system by elevating prosecutors who have been less aggressive on non-violent crime, worked to weaken bail laws and even refrained from prosecuting certain offenses such as theft.
George Soros had helped funnel some $40 million to prop up over 70 prosecutors across the country, many of them presided over skyrocketing crime rates, as The Post has previously reported.
“As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too,” Alex Soros told the Wall Street Journal last year.
Open Secrets, which lists political contributors dating back to 1990, listed Soros Fund Management as the fifth largest.
During the thick of anti-Israel unrest on college campuses across the country, top Republicans alleged that the Soros family’s money helped prop up the demonstrations.
“I think the FBI needs to be all over this,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) previously told NewsNation. “They need to look at the root causes and find out if some of this was funded by—I don’t know—George Soros or overseas entities.”
Takeaway
On the second night of the convention, Soros caught up with former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The lead dog for the Democrats looks like Harris, Walz, Schumer, the Clintons, and Barack Obama.
The Soros family is providing the "mush."
